Highly recommend! Pousson and his staff are very easy to work with and super nice! Dr. Pousson is highly knowledgable and very experienced. My cleaning was very gentle, which seems to be rare these days. He also is extremely ethical and I find he is fair with billing and realistic about what really needs to be done. I was very pleased with Dr. Pousson and his staff and I highly recommend others employ his office for their dental needs. I am a happy customer!

You can tell a lot about a Doctor by the way their staff treats you. They are second to none, caring, considerate, and so helpful. Dr. Pousson himself is outstanding and thorough dentist. I wish I could find more Doctor's like him in other practices. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere...just make your appointment. P.S. Dr. David Pousson is an excellent dentist and a compassionate person. I had been a patient of another dentist for sixty years, but he retired. I broke two teeth and had no idea of from which dentist to seek treatment. A neighbor recommended Dr. Pousson. With great trepidation, I arrived for my emergency appointment. The office is modern, clean and permeated by a soothing atmosphere. The staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Subsequently, after my initial appointment, I called the office and expressed apprehension about the treatment plan. Dr. Pousson took the time to return my call. He put my fears to rest in a very warm, caring manner. And, for the "biggie": Dr. Pousson is skillful and experienced with the needle. I did not feel the injections of anesthesia at all. I took my 3 year old daughter here. She's always gone since she started getting teeth and never had a problem. Well today, she was doing great with letting the assistant look at her teeth, brush, and floss. She was told that when the Dr. Came in she could go get a prize after they were done. Once Dr. Pousson comes in she gets uneasy and would not let him count her teeth. She was not having it. So he says, "no prize for her" and takes his gloves off as he abruptly walks off. Didn't tell me bye or anything. Like he got mad at my 3 year old child for not letting him look at her teeth?? I know she's not the only one?? I had to explain to her that she couldn't get a prize even though EVERY time she has gone to the dentist or doctor she always gets a prize/treat. She was devastated and honestly I was hurt too. I felt like a burden on that man. Clearly i wasnt even worth a goodbye. What is she had a disability? What if she was autistic? For him to just punish her like that because shes afraid of the dentist is absolutely disgusting. We won't be returning after 3 years. Everybody else there was great. The assistant was phenomenal and the manager Melissa actually sounded like she cared when I called and complained.

My son who is 6 and my daughter who is 2 went to this office for a checkup and screening along with a cleaning. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made my kids and I feel very comfortable while we waited to see the doctor. Our visit went so well. The doctors and hygienist were extremely knowledgeable and shared so many helpful tips and also gave Zhane, my 6 year old, some insight into oral health. He was in awe over the instruments they use and the dentist allowed him the pleasure of enjoying his time. She was very patient and very thorough. Dr. Anderson and Dr. Pousson took care when it came to my kids and I appreciate that most. They helped by guiding me on how to floss a two year old and also my son as well. I would highly recommend this place. Oh and at the end the kids even get to pick a toy and sticker from the treasure cabinet. They left feeling clean and happy with their gifts. 5 stars! ❤️❤️

The nicest and most professional staff that I have EVER met. Needed some acute care that could have turned into a root canal, not only were the office staff extremely accommodating to ensure that my insurance would cover the issue, they took the time to ensure that the care needed could be provided within the confines of the agreement (Tricare before you ask). People familiar with Tricare will know this struggle. The dental techs and doctors were also extremely accommodating and reassuring as to the facts and expectations. I had a 15 year old filling that developed a crack and decay formed underneath the filling on a molar...fantastic work and care!

At my first visit to Pousson Family Denistry for a routine cleaning, I was warmly greeted by the reception staff. The dental hygienist explained every step of the cleaning process and made recommendations as to my continued oral health. The office has the latest in computer technology and state of art dental equipment. The entire staff (dentists, dental hygienists, and receptionists) were very professional, courteous, and accommodating. I highly recommend Pousson Family Dentistry, located on the Northshore, to anyone looking for an outstanding dental practice that offers a wide range of treatments.

Both of my boys absolutely LOVE Dr. Pousson, anytime they get sick they want to go see him lol. I absolutely recommend them! The staff is excellent, it feels like family when you walk in. This is the only doctor Ive ever been to that never has me waiting for more than five minutes, they don't overbook people, its always clean, they have a little play area in the lobby, and most importantly they are great with kids! Its just overall a great place. If i ever move far away, i will probably still travel back to Slidell for my dental visits. Doctors offices like this are not common, they really care about their patients. Ive been going to them for about four years now and Im never switching.

It was so wonderful to return to Dr. Pousson's practice after all these years away! Everything about my appointment, from the phone call to set it to the minute we left, was absolutely wonderful! Nancy could not have been more helpful, calming and warm! Rachel was very informative and her positive outlook on life is very contagious! I have a great deal of confidence in Dr. Pousson, and his relaxing, warm demeanor further put me at my ease. The office has a peaceful, clean, calming atmosphere. And then, how many people can leave their dentist's office laughing and smiling, actually looking forward to their next appointment?! I can't think of a single thing I'd wish to be different!! I am highly recommending Dr. Pousson to everyone I know!
