Horrible experience. I came in knowing I needed some fillings done. I had a tooth that needed to have filling replaced and now I have to have a root canal on it when Dr. Started telling me it was just a "bite adjustment" i did not have any additional xrays nor tests done to look into more what the problem was. Then I came back to have another filling and she again missed another filling that needed to be done adjacent to the tooth she was already prepping. Front desk staff is very unprofessional when they answer or call a patient to confirm appointments, insurance was incorrectly verified so we ended up with a bill after we had already paid our portion. I would not recommend this dental office.

I attended Mandeville Dental for 9 years and due to my insurance change I had to change dentist. I am a reliable patient and I heard great reviews of this place and was excited to give it a try, but as a new patient I didn’t even get a chance to go here because of how rude a staff member was. I first called as a new patient, made an appointment and forgot I had an exam at school the day I scheduled so 30 minutes later I called to reschedule and could hear a staff member yell in the background that she just made my appointment. Well people have lives and if your a receptionist this shouldn’t be a problem to change. And I missed my appointment today because I was so scared to call back and change it after that and then the same lady rudely told me if I miss another appointment I can’t go there anymore. Needless to say there are nicer ways to say this and was very unprofessional. If the receptionist is so rude I would hate to see how rude the people working on my teeth would be. I hear how sweet the staff is, but I for one did not get a chance to see it. And if your someone who has priorities in life and might have to cancel an appointment I wouldn’t recommend here because I only missed one and they said if you miss two your not able to go there. Not very understanding.

This was an awful experience. I got dental work done from this place last year a day before Mardi Gras. I had went to a previous dentist, but he didn't accept my type of Medicaid. Oh boy, I wish I could've afforded to stick with him. He told me that my front teeth all had cavities that will soon make my front teeth brown. When he said that I began searching for a new dentist because I also had a hole from a filling that popped out. I went to Northshore Dental and thought I liked the place. They're a sedative Dental practice and because Dental work is painful I like that. Before she did any work I mentioned to her about what the previous dentist told me and her exact words were "I don't see what he's talking about". All she suggested was doing my fillings. The Medicaid paid for it so I relieved after that. Well, two weeks later the filling where she filled that had the whole became very painful. I went to her again, and she suggested a root canal--couldn't afford/Medicaid didn't pay for that. Weeks went on and that pain eventually stopped. Well about 4 months after that I had to go to he ER because my whole left side of my face was swollen. I even called her office & they told me there's nothing they can do. Oh really??! My face went down after I was prescribed antibiotics. 2 weeks after the ER the tooth she filled with hole cracked!! Literally--cracked. Another 2 weeks later-- the tooth on side of another filling she did CRACKED! I literally have TWO cracked teeth right now, and it's hurting so bad. Lastly, around the same time the front teeth that I mentioned to her started to turn brown. I have holes all in the front of my teeth. I can't even smile like I used to. I feel that if she didn't know that was going to happened why is she a dentist? The previous dentist mentioned that to me before and she basically called him a liar when he was correct the whole time. I just saved up money for a lawyer to see what I can do. I've looked online & fount this, "As a plaintiff, you are charged with proving that your dentist’s breach of the standard of care caused you harm. Damages in a malpractice case can be physical (nerve damage, broken teeth)". My nerves are damaged and I have TWO broken teeth. I'm gathering my ER information and going to my previous dentist for proof. This is sickening. Hope no one else goes through this because it sucks! Regret coming to this place. Caused my damage and pain than before!

I have been going to the same dentist for 20 years, however moved to the Northshore and no longer wanted to drive an hour just to see my dentist. Decided to try Northshore Dental. Very nervous and unsure of what to expect from a new dentist... HOWEVER I was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff. Nice environment (and free coffee! WOO HOO!!) . Dr Core was awesome, informative, friendly, and caring. This will be my new go-to Dental office.

At 47 years old I was extremely embarrassed with my teeth. After many years of smoking and drinking coffee, they were terrible. I had changed the way I smiled over the years. I had a wisdom tooth giving me fits and went in, I am so glad I did. This was the absolute best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Core pinpointed my problem in a second and upon further study of Xrays , determined both wisdom teeth needed to be pulled. She also fixed a cavity and did some refills for me. I can honestly say I was treated with the utmost care and professionalism. I am obsessed with brushing my teeth now and feel I have been given a second chance!! Thanks to Dr. Core my teeth are really clean and I cant believe the difference. Thank you so much!!! I will be back for my cleaning and recommend you guys to everyone :)
