I came to this dentist because I wanted to improve my front teeth since I had bonding that needed to be re-done and loss of back teeth. I wanted him to sit in a meeting with me to explain the dental plan. He said he would. He did not show. Instead an office assistant went over my plan. I explained I did not want my teeth grinded down. I asked about bonding. She told me I was not a candidate. That was not true (bonding was far cheaper than veneers or caps) as I later was told . We decided on veneers only. I was talked into thousands of dollars worth of "cosmetic" dentistry that I did not need on my front teeth. I had to put up several thousand dollars for the work. Contrary to what I wanted and requested, he did, in fact grind two of my front teeth (to points) rather than put veneers. Those teeth failed. I was charged another huge fee for a partial for back teeth that was so uncomfortable. I kept going back for adjustments. Finally two of my front teeth failed. To my knowledge neither had cavities, nor did I have gum disease. He also did a root canal on a front tooth (he previously told me he never did root canals but sent them to other specialists) that did not even hurt. It failed. I finally left. Then I had to go through several painful operations by an oral surgeon to get implants. I had to have bone grafts, painful stem cell procedures that went on for years. I found a restorative dentist who worked with the oral surgeon to do the final work. More smiles cost me a fortune. I ended up paying another fortune to the Oral surgeon and another restorative dentist ( a qualified restorative dentist). This went on from about 2012 until this year when the work was complete. I would not send my worst enemy to Dr. Moreau. When I showed displeasure and wanted a second opinion, he wanted to pick the second opinion. He yelled at the top of his lungs at me on the phone. He never once took any responsibility for the pain he caused. I feel he was not up front with me. He should have sat down with me at the first meeting (as he said he would) to answer any and all my questions and he did not. That is a lesson learned for me. Let the buyer beware.
