The people in this practice are kind and courteous. The hygienist that cleans my teeth is great. From the front desk to the back, great staff. I absolutely love love Dr. Owens. I travel from Prairieville to Zachary to see him. I am a huge baby when it comes to going to the dentist. I take care of my teeth, but by family genetics, I don't have really good teeth. He is patient with me, and understands my anxiety of the dentist. He is conservative and cautious with my treatment. I have never trusted a dentist as much as him. He is also very personable. Great job Louisiana Dental Center of Zachary.

I took my Dad to Dr. Owens today and not only was I very impressed but he impressed my Dad also. From the time we walked in to the time we walked out everything was handled professionally and courteously. My Dad is not one that is easy to work with but I think Dr. Owens saw this right off the bat and handled him very well. They were laughing and cutting up all the while Dr. Owens was explaining all the procedures and process that my Dad was going to need to get a great set of dentures. My Dad had visited several other places before going here and he told me afterwards that this was the most comfortable and knowledgeable exam he had been given. Dr. Owens thank you for working with my Dad so well and to your staff thank them for making the visit very pleasing. See y'all again soon as we go through this process that i know my Dad will be very happy with.

Thank goodness my son shared an experience from a co-worker about Louisiana Dental Center in Zachary. A well-kept secret dental office off the main drag in Zachary was a wonderful surprise. I was a walk-in patient and was seen within minutes of completing my paperwork. Marissa, my dental tech/assistant, was so thorough in explaining what was about to happen. Dr. Harris performed his exam and told me what needed to be done. Marissa then printed out a treatment plan, detailing the procedures and costs. I have been a patient of my dentist for many years, but Louisiana Dental Center is saving me over two hundred dollars! As a retiree, this was much welcomed news. If you are undecided about visiting Louisiana Dental Center, I can assure you it is worth the trip to Zachary! A wonderful facility, friendly and knowledgeable staff and very reasonable prices!

This Dentist Practice absolutely is the best facility for every dental need-you could possibly have. They care that you are comfortable, that your dental work is done correctly, the team of assistance, billing, and reception are professional yet down home friendly. AMAZING group of folks! They’ve shown themselves to be highly professional on a consistent basis & do not cut corners when it comes to dental work. It is also quite clear that quality is never compromised for quantity. LDC Zachary is BY FAR the best dental office I’ve ever had the pleasure of stepping foot into, & you are doing yourself, & all 32 of your chompers (or however many you have left) a great disservice if you haven’t paid them a visit. UNETHICAL TO DO A BASIC CLEANING??? My wife had an appointment today and horrible experience like she’s never had before with a dentist. When we called for the appointment, we very clearly asked for a TEETH CLEANING. But, after x-rays and looking around her mouth, Dr. Ariel Brown said, ‘no she actually had an appointment for a comprehensive exam and since we recommend a deep cleaning, it would be unethical to do a basic cleaning.’ The Doctor said it was UNETHICAL to do a basic cleaning! We wanted a basic cleaning per original requested appointment, then we’d come back for the deep cleaning, THEY REFUSED! (So I assume a basic cleaning was never in the plans..) IMO, it is unethical to refuse the teeth cleaning that our insurance paid for! What is wrong with these people?! And they are very good at making you look like the bad person, but wife just wanted them to clean her teeth and they refused, so sad. Please don’t waste your time here. Oh, by the way, our insurance covers 4 basic cleanings a year (of which, we couldn’t get that treatment here), but their ‘Treatment Plan’ costs $1,215! But it’s not about the money...

Doctors like Dr Owens literally destroyed my life for the past 8 years by yanking out & doing unnecessary dental work that caused bone loss that lead to facial distortion, causing my serious depression. PLEASE Get a second opinion before allowing this man to do anything to your teeth. Don’t trust doctors. All they care about is money. While Dr Owens didn’t do anything to my teeth he did point out that I had a serious infection & needed to remove & redo dental work. I got a second opinion & there’s no infection. If you see this Dr Owens I hope you grow a heart & don’t cause unnecessary pain & depression to anyone in the future.

This office is very inconsiderate. I had a previous visit here and the staff was a tad bit stuck up. I called from Panama City florida, I asked if they'd be able to perform certain services and they ensured me if I made the trip they would. Unfortunately when I arrived after my 6 hour trip. They were NOT able to perform my services or help me at all. Instead they said it'd be another at least 2 months before they could. They gave me false promises. unprofessional and inconsiderate would not recommend.

I HATE getting my teeth worked on even a little bit, but this place is easily the most comfortable I've ever been while getting work done(quite a bit of work because I had been neglecting getting it done). I was relieved immediately of my anxiety when they started working(mainly because of the lack of pain), and not once did I feel judged, or get the typical 'wag of the figer' speech that I've gotten before, and for me that was what probably made the biggest impression on me. Plus! I dont have mouth pain or trouble eating anymore. a good honest review is the least I could do in return.

LA Dental Center did a wonderful job of handling my dental phobia when I needed a root canal. They were informative at every step, and noticed my every discomfort and asked if I was ok. I went in because of extreme tooth pain. I was seen by A. Brown and her assistant. I was given an xray and was told by the dentist that the tooth needs to come out. So as I was scheduling a day to come back with the assistant, I thought it was odd that I wasn't given any antibiotics before having the tooth removed. So I asked the assistant was my tooth infected, because my tooth had the biggest cavity in it and was very painful. She told me no that it was not infected. So I trusted her word and did not ask any further questions about it, which was a mistake on my part. Well fast forward, I come in 2 days later for the extraction and my tooth and surrounding areas wont get completely numb. The dentist says its because the tooth is a Hot Tooth, meaning its infected. I just sat there mouth wide open and couldnt believe that this was happening! All because I was not given antibiotics before this procedure. And was told I had NO infection. Well, the dentist eventually got the tooth out and i was sent home with pain pills. 2 days went by and the pain was worse than when i had the tooth. The aching pain was so bad that it caused all my neck to hurt. I finally looked at the site of the extraction with a light and saw that it had yellow all over it. Nothing but infection! I called the office immediately and they got me right in and I saw another dentist in the building, a Dr. Carter. He and his assistant were awesome. I was told that I should have received antibiotics BEFORE the procedure and they also apologized for whatever happened. Maybe a miscommunication between the assistant and dentist. Well Dr Carter fixed me right up, he put some medication on the extraction area, which was very painful but after 15 minutes I FINALLY felt some relief and he sent me home with antibiotics to treat the infection. I am torn whether or not I should continue with this office. I had a horrible experience but on the other hand Dr Carter and his assistant made it all better for me. They knew exactly what to do and Im so thankful because I finally have relief and I can now properly heal. Not sure yet about this one.

The ladies at LA Dental are all so sweet and helpful. The atmosphere is so relaxing and comfortable. I did not have anything except some XRays because I am going out of town. As soon as I return we will get started. I went on the referral of my sister-in-law, her sister (who came from Washington State to be treated by LA. Dental) and my daughter-in-law’s mother. Wonderful when you get such good referrals.

Absolutely LOVE this dentist office. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My 4 kids love going, and each time we leave they talk about how awesome Dr. Owen's is. He even gave my daughter a scrub hat to use with her doctor's costume for Halloween. They also have an orthodontist that comes on Friday's so all our needs are met in one place. Can't say enough good things about this dental center. It's a brand new facility in Zachary, very large, spacious and comfortable, with state of the art technology. The dentistry staff is extremely competent and knowledgeable, and the overall service is very efficient and reasonably priced. Again, this is hands down the best dental facility to go to in the Greater Baton Rouge area, IMO.

I got to watch Dr. Owens and Natasha fill cavity for my son today and it was amazing watching how in-sync they were handling tools and knowing next step.
