Very slow service. Does not prioritize their work flow. Patients are not taken back in the order of arriving, it’s all in who you know to get called back first. I am currently looking for another dentist, very unhappy here at LaDental.

I’ve been coming to the Louisiana Dental Center for years in Slidell and I’ve never had a bad experience. That includes them drilling my teeth on a couple of occasions so that’s pretty impressive. I’ve had same day emergency dental procedures done and they took me in very quickly without hassle. The whole place is so professional and nice from the front desk back to the dental techs all the way to the dentists themselves. It’s a great atmosphere. I even had insurance trouble today and they helped me out, straightforward about the costs of my care without the insurance, and willing to work around my schedule to get me in for my appointment. This was after nearly an hour of the woman at the front desk checking to see if I was covered. She was nice and professional the entire time not letting on to any agitation when I showed up with a strange insurance card. Would definitely recommend and after everything they’ve handled in my care, I hope to be a customer for years more.

DR JUSTIN WU AND HIS ASSISTANT are outstanding! I had a back molar that needed to be extracted like 100 years ago, with some weird roots near my nerve that 4 dentists would not touch. I had never had an extraction before and was pretty nervous when Dr Wu accepted to remove it. The whole experience couldn’t have gone better. His assistant was so personable and talked me through everything, I was not sedated and completely numb, Dr Wu was working in my mouth TOPS four minutes! Fastest dentist visit ever and smooth and painless. Thank you so much for be willing and doing a fantastic job.... I promise to start flossing better! Highly recommend Dr Justin Wu to anyone!

She actually took me in early and was very nice, thorough, and gentle with my cleaning. Dr. Bean was also great, he kept me laughing. My wife and I have been going to this location for several years. I have had the same technician, Heather, who does a great job on caring for my teeth. She is very thorough and the Dentist, Jeffrey Wiggins DDS, does the final check before leaving the office. Justine has had several technicians and her latest is Tina, who has done very well too. Tabatha checked us out and set up our return appointments so that we could come on the same day in about 6 months. The staff is very coordinated and there is no waiting- when they say appointment is for 2PM, it is for 2Pm (plus 5 minutes max.)...no other medical Doctor is that prompt with appointments. Usually we wait about an hour on average at most of our medical doctors' appointments.

If you have a teenager getting their wisdom teeth pulled and they happen to be nervous about it, please don’t send them to see Dr Justin Wu, D.D.S. He can’t handle a nervous teenager and will give up and walk away. If you can’t handle it then you shouldn’t be in this profession.

Well taken care of before, during and after procedure extracting 5 year old crown to take care of cavity below it. Completely dislike all procedures in my mouth but the dentist and assistant did try and provide me all requests to lessen my discomfort during the procedure. When my insurance will not pay for a replacement crown until 7 years of use, the office provided me a very reasonable cash price for the crown and procedure. Everyone at this office always treats me well. Sabrina who I always schedule for my cleaning goes completely out of her way to not perform activities that I really dislike and remembers them at every cleaning without me even mentioning them again. Much appreciated.

Well taken care of before, during and after procedure extracting 5 year old crown to take care of cavity below it. Completely dislike all procedures in my mouth but the dentist and assistant did try and provide me all requests to lessen my discomfort during the procedure. When my insurance will not pay for a replacement crown until 7 years of use, the office provided me a very reasonable cash price for the crown and procedure. Everyone at this office always treats me well. Sabrina who I always schedule for my cleaning goes completely out of her way to not perform activities that I really dislike and remembers them at every cleaning without me even mentioning them again. I've come here twice for both kids ages 9 and 11. I was skeptical about coming her because I'm typically more of a family dentist person. I worked at a family practice for a couple of years and always heard bad things about clinics and franchises. Dr. Zuniga is great with my kids and their hygienist was kind and gentle. They didn't give me a treatment plan with unnecessary work either. They were on time and it was an easy visit. I think though, the upstairs checkout girl could add a smile or two with patients, but she wasn't rude. Also, I saw a post about them not wanting to complete a regular cleaning on someone who obviously needed a deep scale cleaning. That's not untypical for dentist offices to refuse that. It's basically considered unethical to give someone a regular cleaning when it's going to do absolutely nothing for their teeth and hygiene. Some offices will do it but we'll have you sign something basically stating that you know this is not what you need. They made the right call on that.

My appointment was for 3, I got there at 2:50 and was out of there by 3:30 with xrays, an exam, and a mouth full of clean clean teeth. Had to schedule a follow up appointment for a filling and they even had availability the next day. The whole staff is super nice and friendly. Oh and about 2 years ago I got my wisdom teeth pulled there and had a great experience then too. Not many people can say that for that procedure. Lol. Definitely recommend!

The staff & the service was very good. My dislike or complaint is, it took too long to extract the tooth! I have never had it take so long to have a tooth pulled. And because it took awhile to extract the tooth...the numbing agents had begun to wear off...so by the time I was out of the chair I was in full blown pain. Nevertheless, Dr. Wu & staff overall did a good job. Once I got the pain meds going the 1st day, afterwards I have had no more pain.

A really old crown fell off in the evening I didn’t swallow it! Hurray! Easy to get appointment the next day. Took X-ray to make sure everything was ok. Cemented on quickly and looking forward to eating steak and seafood dinners for another couple of decades. They were also helpful in answering my questions about my up coming retirement. A big office with lots of good dentists that can work you in quickly and professionally.

Every person I came in contact with was great. From the first call to make the appointment to the appointment itself. My hygienist was absolutely wonderful and a God send. She explained every detail about my issues to me. Took the time to really go through my insurance coverage and went way above and beyond for me today. I believe her name is Cindy. I have always loved this particular Dentistry office. The people are kind and considerate and work very hard to make sure that everyone is taken care of as quickly and efficiently as possible without being cold and uncaring and mechanical. But I got to admit today was a little different. Definitely the first time I've ever seen anybody arrested in a dentist office LOL. I'm just glad that everybody was okay and it stayed uncomplicated and was handled efficiently and quietly.

She asked the right questions which now included me taking antibiotics for my knee replacement. She cleaned my teeth and x rayed them. The doctor checked me out and all was good to go.
