I have been using St Claude Louisiana Dental Center for a couple of years now and it's been excellent. However, this last visitation I had to wait over and hour to be seen. I signed in early at 8:41 am for an 8:45 am appointment and was not called until after 9:45 am. This is unusual for this place. When I asked why it took so long, they went back to try to find out and had no answer. Oh well. Hopefully it was a fluke day....Great care here at this location. Thanks..

I have always had a phobia with the dentist visit. Upon receiving service , my anxiety was high prior to starting service. The assistant Ciara was excellent in chair side manner by helping to calm me during treatment. Also the treatment plan coordinator Donnella was excellent in explaining the my future treatment plan. Arrived today and had a great experience with the front offices. The ladies were nice and prompt. Moved along and the lady who gave my daughter x-rays also kind. Then we went upstairs. It was a very tight space, I was made to wait as it was a consultation and there wasn't anywhere for me to stand out of the way and the whole time I was moving awkwardly trying to stay out of the way of the Doctors the room is the size of an average master bedroom and four chairs and storage areas are squeezed in. The consultation was very quick. Doctor told me what was going on with my daughters teeth, he disagreed with what our dentist had said and explained what he believed the problem to be. After that the assistant handed me a contract. I explained that we were refered here because of our insurance. I would like them to try to run the information through insurance first. When I said this 3 different doctors or assistants in the area got weird and or sighed. The Doctor who had seen her flat out told me we'd have to take pictures and send them to insurance. I said I understood and I have another child already in braces and I'm comfortable with that process. He then explained that he can guarantee insurance won't cover it. I explained that I felt that was weird because my son has braces and we've gone through this process. They refused to even try to send it to our insurance company and wanted us to pay cash. Needless to say we won't be back.

I loved that they checked with my insurance first to see what procedures were covered and went over each one with me so I knew exactly how much I would be spending before agreeing to move forward. I wish every healthcare service did that--it can be such a pain when you have unexpected out-of-pocket expenses. But they made sure that there were no surprises! I went in for a routine cleaning but they found a small cavity and they were able to fill it during my visit. Which was amazing! In the past at other dentist offices, I always had to make another appointment to come back for fillings. This office is clearly well staffed and well run.

A scam. The hygienist was awesome but beyond that it was an awful experience. Dentist spent about ten minutes roughly handling my teeth and stabbing me in the gums repeatedly before telling me I needed 4k worth of work done and if I couldn't afford it there was always this credit plan I could sign up for, how convenient. He barely spoke to me beyond this and was eager to begin extracting my teeth asap. Was not at all treated like a human, will not be returning and will be encouraging others to stay away as well. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I had dental work there a year ago that was sub par. The dental work I received was not what I discussed with my dentist there. They took advantage of the funds that I had to receive the work. An extraction was poorly done. Not enough anesthesia and was traumatic and painful. The dentist who did the extraction was a Roman who was not strong enough to do so. Then I had a poorly created crown that didn’t fit well over a tooth that did not have a root canal. A year later that tooth had been assessed twice. Very , very, very painful. Now I have to have a root canal that I have to try to find the funds to do , when I had the funds at the time and it should have been part of the dental plan. They do not want to accept responsibility after I expressed my concerns. Said they would replace the awful crown after I have someone else do the root canal. The crown has to be cut off to be replaced. The crown from LA dental didn’t even fit to the gum line. Also , I had a 20+ year old filling in my fro t tooth that chipped during the flood in Baton Touge 2016. It broke 3 times. The third time when I called twice and emailed LA dental once with no response is why I went to a different dentist. The dentist there replaced the filling which hadn’t even chipped once a year later. Thirdly , I had a filling on a tooth that did have a root canal and it’s just a big blob of composite. This dentist at LA dental took my beautiful 40* years of dental work and turned my mouth into a hodgepodge of awful d class dental work. Not only am I unhappy, I am now seeking legal counsel because this thing is unacceptable. They are lot LGBT friendly. I have several friends who I referred , sadly , who have had below subpar work as well. Not only do I not recommend going there. I recommend to run to LSU Dental school minimally bc students can do much better work at a lower cost and at least accept responsibility and will make their work right.

When you walk into the main lobby you are greeted by all the workers in a friendly manner. If you have an appointment the wait time isn’t long at all. The hygienist comes to get you and she’s very friendly.She talks to you through out the cleaning process making sure you’re alright. If you have to see a dentist they are just as nice and concerned about your health and well being. No pain at all. When you leave the staff makes sure your visit was to your standards. I would recommend The Louisiana Dental Center on St Claude to anyone in need of a dentist.

Dr. Lee and Miss Sharell were easily the best dental experiences I have had in my 30 years. I didn't get proper care until I was an adult and so there were some major challenges in my care plan. Both Dr Lee and Miss Sharell took time and patience to work with me over the to address each issue with comfort, care a s affordability. I am happy that, right on St. Claude, we have the best care (coming form a New Yorker). Thanks you to this dream team and I would highly recommend their place of business for you and your family.

I’ll be willing to go out of network before I come back here!!! Dr. Langston is awesome, but the front office staff not so much!!!!! I refuse to act a fool as statistics show, I’ll continue to wait patiently to get this permanent crown on, but Lord knows how I’m feeling, please continue to filter my mouth father in Jesus name I pray!!!!! Lmao update 11:45a the crown don’t fit!!!!!! This place a true joke, too many side conversations that have nothing to do with patient care! But I sure can tell you who going to the second line this Sunday, and who’s getting what for lunch, meanwhile I’m sittting in here waiting to get the temporary crown out back on while I wait another 3-6 weeks for it to come, only for the office staff to not call me and tell me it arrived, but me myself calling them to inquire on the status of the crown!!!!!! Once again I’ll go out of network before getting any additional work done at this facility!!! 3/7/19 update! So I received a call on 2/20 telling me that I need to come back in the office to get yet another mold for the crown, now I understand once maybe even twice but the 3rd time come on nah! So instead of wasting any more time (Mine & Theirs) I asked for a refund, after talking to the nice office manager I was told I can get the refund $800 plus dollars minus the lab fee, ok cool process the refund and cut my check please & thank you! Fast forward until today, guess what still no refund, Man I swear I wish I woulda listened to my mom growing up.....eating all that candy and not flossing regularly got me in this position!!! So now I preach to my children the importance of having excellent oral hygiene

Even though there was a 30 minute wait my first time (and I did have an appointment), staff was thoughtful and explained any delay in me being seen. I was seen immediately when I came my second time. My dentist, Doctor Langston and her dental assistant Shwan were very kind and made sure I felt comfortable!

I do like the fact that the hygienist takes the time to answer any questions and the office is modern and clean. I wish the dentist would provide more of the services like deep cleanings though, rather than the hygienist. But I think that may just be how it is these days.

Thank you so much for the great dental work! I forgot the name of the person who assisted my dental scaling and root planing but she made me feel so comfortable. As soon as I told her about my nervousness, she found different ways to take my mind away from the pain. The numbing gel def worked wonders. Cant wait to see my smile after the swelling goes down.
