beware... they will want your money before they provide you service. And when you are not happy, they will treat you like its your fault. I was treated like im doing them a favor and im not satified with the service. i explain what is not right,,, a rep told me we are not a high end dentist office. im pissed because i wish they would have told me all that before they took my money. and i specifically told them what i wanted and agreed at payment counter but when you get in back.... things chance. BASICALLY.. MAKE SURE YOU GET A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORK YOU WANT DONE ...BEFORE YOU PAY. IF NOT THEY WONT DO GOOD WORK! !!

Dr. Griffin is the best Dentist around, He’s very caring and not judgmental. He makes you feel comfortable and makes sure you are completely numb during your procedure. We recently changed dentists after over 12 years and I was very impressed with the welcoming atmosphere. They were able to schedule myself and my three kids pretty quickly. The hygienist was very thorough and explained everything. Dr. Mike was very friendly and I felt very confident in his experience. Overall, I had a great experience.

I was up all night with major tooth pain after avoiding a dentist for 8 years, knowing I needed to get some teeth fixed for a while. Had my wife call practically all the dentists we could find online, leaving messages as every place was closed for the weekend. They also only accepted regular patients for "emergency" hours. Thankfully, Dr. Smith called early the next day, taking time out of his weekend to help me out. I have since been there several times, working on a plan to get my teeth back in shape. I hated going to the dentist... Now, it doesn't even bother me to have major work done--he is very skilled, knows exactly what he's doing, and makes it a pain free experience.

My son (2.5 years old) had his first cleaning today. He was so scared to begin, but the hygienist did a great job making him comfortable. He got to touch all of the tools and she made it a fun experience. He giggled and participated the whole time and let them do a full exam; I was floored!

Never will go here. This place said they need to reffer my finance to a oral surgeon to get a tooth pulled and I know from experience they could do it. Something fishy about these people. I'll go over rto Louisiana Dental never had these issues over there.

THIS IS THE PLACE! This is the third clinic that I've been to this week. The others are a rip off. The others would have taken up to six weeks to get my dentures at close to $2,000. Here, its $300 and you get the same quality AND you get your dentures the same day in most cases. Dr. Clausen and the staff are awesome. They care about your wants and needs, not just how much they can charge you!

I was quickly ushered in to see the dentist. My needs (2 crowns, 2 fillings, & a mouth guard impression) were attended to efficiently. I was offered sun glasses to protect my eyes from the light, a towel to keep my neck comfortable, and a radio with headphones, so I could listen to music. I am pleased with the service I received today from Dental Care Associates.

Just had a crown put in yesterday and it was one of the easiest procedures I've ever had done. Dr. Kuipers and her team were the ultimate in caring professionals from start to finish. They explained the entire procedure, what to expect, how long it would take, and told me I could take a break when needed. I didn't need to, it was quick and so easy. Very comfortable too, didn't feel a thing. I never get nervous going to the dentist. The whole team is always so professional, kind, and helpful.

Started with a bad tooth emergency that led to a canal and crown. Very impressed with the hospitality, informative staff and freindly aptmosphere. Stayed with them as my regular provider. Urge anyone that has any trepidation about dental work to check them out. In my opinion, definitely the best available.

Dental Care Associates is a great place to receive dental care. On my first visit, they were very kind and welcoming. The front desk staff were helpful and warm. My dental hygienist was so friendly, explained everything that was going on, and took the time to get to know me. My dentist was also very kind. She made me feel cared for and I knew my teeth were in good hands. My entire experience was positive. They are an incredibly friendly and professional office. Please note: Every word of this review is true, and it IS for Dental Care Associates of Sioux Falls. Why would I remove a true review? This office has some pretty big communication problems. I called ahead to ask how much everything was going to cost as I do not have insurance. I was told a price and wrote it down, and I go to the window after everything’s done and it’s $55 more than what they told me. Obviously there’s no communication between what the hygienist is telling me I need and what the office staff thinks is and isn’t a part of the appointment. Turns out the “extra” X-rays were the culprit, but since I asked how much the cleaning and X-rays were together, I had no reason to believe that it wasn’t all included. Any reasonable person would have assumed it was all one price. A warning for anyone wanting to do the free whitening: again no communication. I was not told that it can’t be done during the first appointment. You will have to come back a SECOND and THIRD TIME just for the whitening. For someone who lives out of town, this is terribly inconvenient and no one did a good job of explaining this to me. And last but not least was a very smart-mouthed and uncaring employee named Anna. She prepared my whitening trays and, even though I indicated she was causing me pain, did not stop what she was doing, let up on the pressure, or even ask me if I was doing OK. After the first tray, I told her that she absolutely could not do that on my bottom teeth because I have growths that are painful. She did the exact same thing again. I was moaning, moving around and even physically pushing her hand away and she did nothing. It was after this that she told me I’d have to come back AGAIN for a third time to pick them up. When I expressed disbelief that I would have to come back again, she said very snottily, “You didn’t HAVE to do it.” When I spoke with the office manager, she refused to make things right with me in any way. I don’t even think she apologized. So, they have forever lost my business. After telling my husband about what happened, he canceled his appointment too.

After being a patient of my dentist at DCA for 8 years now, I had a cavity fixed at the end of September and they knicked my tooth direct to the side and didn't notice. However I did after the novacane wore off and called immediately.After I had spent 1,000 out of my own pocket, I went in later that day and they had to grind down my tooth to make it smooth. Not even 2 months after I began having sensitive pain in the tooth they chipped and ground down. They called twice saying to come in and they'd make sure it was okay. After 10 minutes of work they said I need a mouth guard it's from grinding. In my 30 years I have never grind my teeth. Then when I went to leave they were rude and said I had to pay 130 for the exam when they said to come in to fix their error. I am flabergasted how they have changed over the years and am so disgusted at the treatment I received after being a loyal patient of theirs for 8 years ! I should not have to pay for their mistake!

They are the best I went in to get tge last 3 of my top teeth pulled and my dentures they informed me that I might need a surgery called Alveoloplasty to make my dentures go on correctly when I told them that I could not afford that they worked with me for 2 days until we found dentures tgat would work I am so happy now my dentures are damn near perfect I can smile and laugh without hiding my mouth so thank you Dental Care Associates for working with me to make sure I was happy with what I was getting.

I had a dental nightmare! Last night my upper front tooth broke off while eating! I googled SF best dentists and decided on Dr. Michael Smiths office after reading a review. I called this morning at 9 and my luck there was a cancellation at 10:30. By 11:45 I walked out with a beautifully fixed tooth and a great experience by Dr. and staff. My 3 year old daughter had her first dental appointment instead of a typical dentist would think of money in the bank, the dentist was very kind patient trying to ease my daughter into getting her teeth counted and cleaned. Despite all their efforts and time as well their patience; They were only able to count her teeth, no cleaning this time, attempt number 2 will be in about 6 months so hopefully it's a better outcome. They deserve praise for their kindness and caring as well their professionalism.
