Very dissatisfied with our experience while going for our 3 year olds first cleaning. My husband and I both took off work to be there for one of our sons "firsts" and was told soon as we checked in that only 1 parent could go back during the exam. They were very firm in this policy. As we asked once again when they called us back. They seemed very frustrated that we would even request it. Get back to the room and it had 2 chairs, and very spacious rooms. Really irritating knowing they were not accommodating to our wishes over something that meant so much to us being 1st time parents. When his cleaning was all finished the doctor came in and went over his x-rays. Gave me some news I wasn't expecting to hear about his teeth and having to see an oral surgeon when he is a little older. Mind you, they wouldn't let my husband come back to hear this!! This facility is not considerate of their patients wishes. Lacking in any kind of customer service. If anything at all they could have explained their policy upfront when we called to make the initial visit. So we were aware before we both took off work and made the drive from Georgetown only to find one of us sitting in the waiting room.

Not a very fair or knowledgeable dentist! Talks pretty quickly and does not treat his patients with fairness,respect! If you make a appointment rest assured that at least 5 other people have that same appointment, so be prepared to be put last under any circumstance! Do not appreciate being put aside for a simple checkup being the first patient in the office, for another having to have a more detailed procedure that came in 30 min later! And this was the second time! NOT COOL

I have been taking my 2 children to Pediatric Dentistry of Hamburg for years now. The staff are very nice and helpful. I haven't ever had to wait long to get in. The office is clean and very kid friendly. I highly recommend.

We started taking our twins to PDOH when it was first opened and just Dr. Jackson. They were so scared but walked right in to this fun, welcoming office and staff. Since then they have seen both Dr. Dillow and Dr. Day and love them both. We are now entering the scary world of braces but my kids are still the ones to remind me to call and make their appointments for their dental cleanings. I am always amazed when they ask to go to the dentist since I have dreaded it all my life. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our children and giving them something they will remember from now till they are adults. Hopefully, they will never be afraid to go to the dentist because of the wonderful, loving care they have gotten as children. You all are the best!!

I refuse to take my children anywhere else! The best and most caring practice I have ever seen! My son is in remission of cancer and therefore has a fear of needles. He needed to have a tooth extracted. They were so patient with him. When it came time to numb, they literally were passing things under and around so he never saw a thing. "Slick" doesn't begin to describe it. They were amazing! That is just one example. We have seen many doctors, hygienist, and staff members, for several years now. We have always been pleased.

Took my 2 year old to her very first dentist visit. She of course wasn’t thrilled about the cleaning, but it astounded me that when she wasn’t cooperative enough for the tech...she called over a second tech to hold my two year olds arms down. In what world is it acceptable to use restraint against a two year old? It’s not like my daughter had any cavities. As someone in who works in pediatrics I find this entire practice a joke. I will never take any of my children to this place again.

I love Pediatric Dentistry of Hamburg! Both of my girls LOVE going there. We have seen all three dentists and they are WONDERFUL! In fact all of the staff are GREAT! There is only one Dental Hygienist that has been rude and hateful but other than that we have had nothing but great experiences! I would highly recommend this practice to anyone with children.

I was supposed to bring my son here for the first time today but when we arrived this morning they couldn't find us in the computer. And then I found out that the number on here for the georgetown location is actually the number for the lexington location instead so when I called they scheduled me for the one in Lexington instead. They said they've had this problem for a while but they apparently haven't done anything to change it. The 40 minute drive there and 40 minute drive back home with my son and 6 month old baby was a complete waste of time because they wont change their number on here. I was pretty annoyed by this

This is the best pediatric dentist in Kentucky!! I wish they did adults. The staff is so friendly and the Dentists are amazing. I took my son to a few different places before finding Pediatric Dentistry of Hamburg and was disappointed every time. After our first visit with PDH I knew I would never take my children anywhere else and I recommend them to all of my friends and family!

My granddaughter, Jocelynn, has been coming to Pediatric Dentistry of Hamburg for a couple of years now, and was very fearful at first. Because the staff and Dr. Day are so kind and patient, she now almost looks forward to going to the dentist. She recently had to have her first filling and wasn't even nervous. Dr. Day has a great chair-side manner; he tells her everything that's going to happen before he does anything. I would recommend this office to anyone with kids who need a dentist!

Had an appointment scheduled for my children and one of them had to be rushed my ambulance to the hospital for a head injury. Since the appointment was missed and they are new patients they can never be seen there. I have never heard of such thing in my life. To turn away a new patient is absolutely ridiculous.

Love Pediatric Dentistry of Hamburg. I was referred to them and we have been going for years. I schedule both of my children's appointments back to back and they are in and out in no time. NO LONG WAITS. The staff is informative and friendly.MOST importantly, my children feel at ease there and look forward to their dental visits.

After a horrible experience at another pediatric dentist in Lexington, going to The Pediatric Dentists of Hamburg was like a breath of fresh air. The office is inviting {kids waiting area could be updated } and the office staff are all sweet. Drs. Dillow, Day, and Jackson are all warm and kind, making all of my children not only comfortable but excited to go to the dentist. The hygienists we have worked with have all been patient and helped my children to relax. It is clear the Doctors and staff are like family, and that makes me glad to bring my crew here.

Such a wonderful staff!!!! Everyone is friendly, nice and always smiling. They also know there insurance as well, a procedure wasn't covered by my insurance, they let me know in advance so that i was able to save and have the correct payment when i came in. The Dentist area wonderful very welcoming and treats my daughter with car, the hygienist staff are remarkable as well.

My very scared 3 year old went in to get a cavity filled. They were so patient with him. He did a great job I think mainly because he felt like everyone was there to help him and were so nice to him. He wasn't in any pain later in the day. Dr. Day and his staff were great!

Do not take your special needs child here! Mine is now traumatized. He is autistic and has a sensitive gag reflex and at his appointment 6 months ago the hygienist relentlessly brushed his teeth and made him gag for so long he finally threw up. They were trying to rush him through because of scheduling and couldn't even let him have a second for him to stop gagging. I like to give people second chances so i went ahead and scheduled his next appointment only i asked he be seen by a different doctor and hygienist and given a longer appointment time so he would be rushed through. We went to this appointment a few days ago and and i had hoped he would've forgotten about what happened the last time. I asked the receptionist at the window to please remind the staff about his autism and the fact that he would require a lot of patience and understanding, especially with what had occurred at our last visit. The hygienist this time tried to clean his teeth but he was so traumatized from the last visit he wouldn't remove his hands from his mouth and then wouldn't even sit in the chair. After a while of trying to coax him into the chair Dr. Day came in. We talked for a few minutes and then he tried to get my son to let him count his teeth. My son refused so we tried putting him in the chair. I had to hold his arms away from his mouth so obviously he was very upset and crying. For some reason Dr. Day thought he could ask him to bite down and my son would be able to cooperate. Now keep in mind, he also has a sensitivity to loud noises and he was still hysterical. Dr. Day decided it would help if he got irritated and yelled at him. Obviously, anyone who has dealt with special needs knows that is not what you should do and will actually make things worse. First my kid is gagged repeatedly until he vomits everywhere and then because he is scared they will make him throw up and hurt him again, he gets yelled at. Needless to say we will not be back. I have 2 other children with no issues so if you have non-special needs they are ok.

I love all of the staff at PDH. They have always been extremely patient with my children especially my son who is terrified of the Dentist. They talk to the kids about what is going to happen in ways they can understand and I think that is important in building a child's trust. I have recommended PDH to all of my family and friends. I'm going to be sad when my kids are too old to come here anymore. I absolutely love the staff and Dr's at PDH.

Dr. Jackson is amazing. We had been to another pediatric dentist that insisted general anesthesia and crowning baby teeth was required. Dr jackson made them perfect with oral sedation. my kids love him.and go back on their own everytime! we will never go anywhere else!

Friendly, professional staff with state of the art facility full of murals and cartoons so that children feel at home. Dr. Dillow is so positive and takes the time to thoroughly educate patients and their parents regarding preventative care. He makes them feel important and valued because of his rapport with children. Highly recommend! Our children actually look forward to going to the dentist. :)

I have been taking my kids to Dr. Day for the past 6 years. We love it! We have been treated by all of the dentists and we have no bad experiences. My son has Autism and they are awesome with him. They work around his texture issues and help him feel safe. I wouldn't think of taking my kids to anyone else. I have recommended Pediatric Dentistry to all of my friends.

Horrible experiences there... 8:45 appt. At 9:10 still waiting .. Then I am told insurance didn't pay last time... I had dropped one insurance coverage but her mother still had hers.. after jumping threw hoops and waiting 30 days the last visit making her mother's primary and canceling mine was assured everything was fine when we left the office.. Well I guess not and you only had 6 months to let someone know . So obviously the dentist wasn't even on time for work as long as we were setting there.. Now we will be finding a new dentist office that pays a little more attention to their treatment of customers..

Pediatric Dentistry of Hamburg is the only dentist's office my children have even known (and they're now 12 and 8). We absolutely adore Dr. Rodney Jackson; he has such a gentle manner with the kids. The office staff at the Georgetown location is fantastic. They are always on time and we are in, out, and done right on schedule. I highly recommend this group. Not only are they fabulous dental professionals, but they support many community projects and endeavors.

I've always loved this practice with my 7 and 8 yr old, they have always done a terrific job and I've never had any complaints. I'm taking 3 stars away because at the last visit me and my fiance bought in our youngest for his first appointment and they wouldn't allow me to go back and exprience that with his father. I was told only one parent back at a time but at the time my older son was in the back as well. I'm really considering another dentist because to me anything that is a first time thing for my children is a big deal.
