I called Marlette Family Dentistry (my current dental health care provider) immediately and we set up an appointment for 12:15 PM on 9/5/2018. I arrived at the appointment and was seen right away. We found Dr. Marlette a couple years ago and have been here several times - Basic Cleanings, Sleep Medicine, Fillings, Emergencies, etc. They have always been accommodating with their schedules, the staff is friendly and competent, they explain the care options and costs and are very accurate with the out of pocket expense. They do not use high pressure tactics to push you into services you don't want and overall it is a very comfortable environment.

Excellent dental experience as usual. The entire staff is very professional with a great sense of humor. They know their jobs and do them well. I’ve been going to Dr. Marlette for years. What I really appricated this year was a pre appointment call they made. I had changed my insurance plan last year and was under the assumption that I had dental coverage again this year. Due to a pre appointment phone call from the office staff I was notified that the plan did not have dental coverage. I corrected this oversight and was very pleased that they caught this in advance.

They are gentle, but do a great job assessing the condition of my oral health and cleaning my teeth. The assistants at the front desk are also helpful and courteous. Dr. V and her assistant are simply amazing! Their "bedside manner" is an outgrowth of the kind of people they are. They are kind, interesting, caring, humorous, and just down to earth people. Been a patient for 12+/- years. Six years ago, I moved 45 minutes from Florence, and still come back here for my dental needs. Always caring & following up after any (not basic) procedure to make sure I'm doing OK with numbness, etc... I was having a lot of pain a while back, and I kept going in to determine what the problem was. They were always accommodating to squeeze me in at a moments notice, and never charged for a visit during this time. (Found out I needed a root canal on a molar but the pain radiated to my front tooth, very weird.) I highly recommend & have received gift cards along with thank you notes for the referrals I send them.

First Dentist I've ever visited who couldn't do a simple tooth extraction. Referred me to their friend who's an oral surgeon.. The OS tried to charge me $500 to remove a fully erupted wisdom tooth. Went to a different dentist that who schedule to have it taken out the very next day. AND only had to pay a little over $200. Save your money. Gonna screenshot this review and check back to see if this gets removed.

There was one time when it made sense to refer me to an endodontist, and he was very straightforward about it, making sure I was taken care of!
