Dr. Christian Hahn provides without doubt the best dental experience I have had in 70+ years, in many cities. Every aspect of the practice has been researched and carefully designed to provide the ultimate experience anyone could have going to the dentist for any reason. Dr. Hahn has an engaging personality and obviously loves what he is doing, and I felt he and his staff valued me personally as well as a patient. His knowledge is superb, and he shares new ideas and procedures in a way that support an older person's experience and views. He provides the ultimate in procedures and products that value dental health as an integral part of overall health through the lifespan. His choice of staff demonstrates his care and concern for patients and people as well as in need of the very best available services. Each of my visits have been a pleasure. This is a fantastic team, and I’d strongly recommend them *especially to those with special dental needs, medical issues, or allergies. I came to Ideal Dentistry for a second opinion after being told a crown was my only option by a reputable cosmetic dentist. Dr. Hahn and Lacey not only fixed my tooth at a fraction of the time/expense/trouble as a crown, but without the need for anesthetic. I was more comfortable than I’ve ever been during dental work (usually, with lots of anesthetic!), and they were so responsive to a long list of medical concerns and special precautions I need to take. Dental work is usually very difficult for me, so this was a wholly unexpected experience. I only wish I would have found them sooner!

I've had so many horrible experiences with dentists that I've developed a lot of anxiety about having my teeth worked on. Dr. Hahn is, at the same time, a best in class dentist who has deep knowledge about his practice and a very skillful eye in creating beautiful aesthetic smiles, but he is very perceptive of and responsive to his patients needs. He has been extremely understanding about my anxiety and helped me work through it, rather than making me feel bad about it or nervous to express my fears. The rest of the staff is a perfect mirror to this as well — warm, welcoming, knowledgable, and professional. I completely trust Dr. Hahn and his staff, and highly recommend them to anyone.

Very pain free....until you need take home pain medication. They pretty much refuse to believe how much pain you are in. I am pain med tolerant and really suffered after a root canal (which I thought was suppose to be painless). They treated me like other patients not tolerant. I asked them to meet me at the office (I needed something that a doctor can not call in) and they refused to see me. They are also very expensive and refused to help me with a payment schedule. Other than this they were very professional and caring during my visit. If I could afford them and they realized my special circumstances regarding pain control I would go back. The staff and dentist I had contact with were great. It's a shame that the other things I experienced made me go elsewhere.

I had protective sealant on my teeth from when I was a kid. A couple years ago without asking me he just stated ripping them off, stating my teeth didn't need them. Now they have little black dots in the crevices that I've been told by better non cosmetic dentists that are only stains thank god. At some point I will go back to my original dentist and have the sealant put back on when I have the money. Also my entire family has had cases where expensive procedures are pushed on them where less invasive cheaper options are available. The staff will pretend they don't have that option until you deny them enough and even then will still try to overcharge you. They're a lot of good marketing but that's all.

I came to Dr. Hahn because he is one of only two dentists in Louisville who has an AAACD designation, which takes several years to get. I had filling performed by another dentist, and I knew something was wrong when I ended up in excruciating pain after the numbing agent wore off. Apparently the other dentist misplaced the composite so that it was flexing me tooth upon curing it. Dr. Hahn fixed it, and I have felt fine ever since. Additionally, I have a whole host of other dental issues which I am working through, including the need for jaw surgery. He listens intently, and I feel like he is trying to be both practical and creative on how to put me in the best position as I go through this process. I feel like it is rare to find someone who truly cares about their patients and about staying up to date on the most modern techniques. Everything about his practice and staff are top notch.

I have been going to the dentist regularly my entire adult life. Somehow by the magic of moving to Prospect I needed over $16,000 of recommended work, including redoing everything done by my last dentist , an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry . This office can turn a simple cleaning into a $1000 project, over several weeks, in order to "deep clean". If money is no object, this is your dental office. I'll move on to an office I can trust.
