DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! The Doctors do not place the fillings. They allow the dental assistants to do so and do not disclose this prior to the patients!!! I was there for 3 and 1/2 hours for 3 fillings! The cavities were very deep and into the gums (one tooth the ASSISTANT had to build back completely - she should not have been filling a tooth this severe in my opinion). This is the same assistant who hit me in the face with the Xray machine BEFORE I learned that she would be doing the fillings. Because the assistant was very slow in completing the work, the anesthetic wore off and I was in substantial pain during the last filling. The doctor finally came back as I was crying in the chair and provided more numbing medicine and finished filling the last tooth. The next morning at 3:30am after taking 800 Ibuprofen constantly every 4 hours for the pain after leaving the office I was awoken with SHARP pain from the teeth. I took more ibuprofen and contacted the office the next day (Thurs) to see what could be done to help me get through the weekend. The receptionist was kind and attempted to assist but she was told by the Doctor (who was not in office) that she wouldn't call in any medication to assist with the pain until I came back in to be seen. The problem is that it was my son's birthday THAT DAY so naturally we had plans for him that night and I couldn't take another almost 4 hours off work again to go back to the office during the day. The doctor's suggestion was to wait IN PAIN until Monday because this office doesn't work on Friday (must be nice) to see me and offer any relief for the pain. I am SHOCKED that this is how they run this business. The most comical thing is that their commercial states "we cater to chickens or those scared of the dentist"....it is offices LIKE yours who make people SCARED OF THE DENTIST IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!!!!

My fiance goes to this office, they are not gentle, he always complains when he comes homes about them! He definitely will not be returning. They also do work that is not meant for them to do. Refer out to SPECIALISTS! STOP TRYING TO TAKE MONEY FOR PROCEDURES YOU CAN NOT DO PROPERLY!!!!!!!!!!

I can't explain my disappointment with this dentist office!!!! I hate leaving bad reviews but really feel that this one is necessary! I had 6 cavities that needed to be done (3 on the left & 3 on the right). The first time I had them done, the dentist did a great job and I left with no issues. The second time was a different story. I had my 3 left done on a Friday and was in some discomfort over the weekend and through the week. I decided I needed to go back in for them to check it out so I scheduled a visit the following Friday. They thought it was a bite issue so they drilled out more of my filling from my bottom and one on my top. That Sunday my family and I left for vacation and the pain on my bottom tooth became UNBEARABLE!! I was in so much pain that I had to see a dentist on vacation asap. As soon as I went in, they took an x-ray and saw that the filling was touching my nerve. Long story short, I ended up having to get a root canal!!!! When I got back from vacation, the dentist at Family Care seemed like it was a normal occurrence for this to happen. I'm now out quite a bit of $$ and I still have to get a cap because according to the dentist assistant, my tooth is now like a taco and could break at any point. SO FREAKING DISSAPPOINTED with the situation and how it was handled! Needless to say I will be finding a different dentist to go to.

We have been bringing our family to Dr. Attaway for over ten years and have always received great care and attention to all the age groups in our family. The ladies here are warm and friendly and the service is always top notch and competent. And the couch in the waiting area...for a dad who has to wait while his kids get their dental work done, it’s by far the most comfortable couch Ive ever sat on. Thanks for being such a valued part of our family FCD!

I have to say that this is the most professional office I’ve been in. Yes the assistants fill the teeth but they are qualified to do so and the doctors always come back in to check the work before the patient is dismissed. The average years experience between them is 20-25 + years. I always know ahead of time what my insurance will cover and what my out of pocket will be so there’s no surprise! My family has been going there for 15 years and I like that because there are multiple dentists they can extend their office hours 7:30 am to 8pm to keep me and my husband from having to take time off of work to have our dental work done.

These folks are butchers Drs. Attaway and Hammond recommend I remove my teeth and get an upper denture I'm still suffering from their decision.
