You would think I would dread dental appointments but, I actually enjoy working with the folks at Bluegrass Dentistry. Dr. Seth Chambers does fabulous work and they keep current with tech. I absolutely love this place! It's really nothing like any dentist I've ever been to. They actually explain everything and show you what they're talking about, they're as gentle as possible, and very kind and understanding! Also the facility is gorgeous and very cool. There are TVs at every station and you don't even have to move to get the X-rays taken. They also offer blankets! 100% recommend.

Loved my experience here. First the space, it's so nice and clean and just comfortable. Then the staff, from the moment I called to make my appointment, to the moment I was greeted that morning - such nice people!! I had to maybe wait for 5 minutes after I got there and checked in (which it was nice to do my paperwork online, so when I got there I didn't have to do anything). After that my lovely hygienist was so nice and caring and it's honestly one of the best cleanings i've ever had...so i'm definitely keeping her! :) After my cleaning and x-rays and the whole shabang I was checked by Dr. Morgan, and she was so sweet and answered and explained everything I asked about and/or needed to know. Overall, great experience. I've now booked my whole family here :)

This is a very good dental office with a more than competent staff. I had just moved back to Lexington and shortly thereafter had an unexpected issue with a tooth that had had a crown placed on it a year or so previously. They diagnosed my problem and referred me to a most excellent endodontist (Gregory Carman with Lexington Endodontics) for a root canal. Dr.'s Wilson and Chambers were excellent.

This place is a joke. I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for my husband at 9am they called the day before telling me it was rescheduled at 10am which shorted him a hour of getting everything that needed to be done. I was very upset with the way the hygienists did him and the way the lady at front desk did. I was told when making the appointment what was gonna be done and needless to say nothing was done. She told him if he had another hour they could do it. Hello that's why his appointment was at 9am not 10am. Smh... My husband did say he thought the girl dentist was good and very respectful. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

It had been quite a while since my last visit to the Dentist... I was a bit anxious and nervous. The staff were all so friendly! The technology they have at Bluegrass is amazing. You can watch TV in your exam chair and look at your Xrays on a huge flat screen right in front of you! They are very good at explaining their process in an easy to understand way. Doctor Chambers is awesome. The hygenist was very good as well. The office is a cool modern space. I can't believe I enjoyed going to the Dentist so much...

At my most recent visit here at Bluegrass Dentistry, I had 2 crowns and a root canal done. Dr Benton made my experience the most pleasant, painless dentist visit i have ever had. Dr. Benton was very thorough with the explanation of the treatment as well as why I was needing the treatment. The dental assistant that worked with Dr. Benton was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I have not had any problems with my teeth since my visit at Bluegrass Dentistry. Dr. Morgan and Dr. Seth have been amazing! I have had a very painful difficult year, with many complications. I have seen many specialist and had all types of imaging. After going to Bluegrass Denistry they both worked as a team to make the best plan for me. Dr. Seth found a very large cyst that some how got overlooked by everyone else. They provided complex procedures while being sensitive to my pain and limited ability to open my mouth. They then refered me to amazing doctors (endodotist and oral/facial surgeon) to ensure all avenues of possible treatment was used. They have followed up with me and truly cared about my well being and chronic pain. They have been amazing and I would recommend them to everyone including my own family. The office is beautiful, each chair has a TV, the reception staff was friendly and my first hygienist explained everything she was doing before she would do it. Unfortunately, here is where my positive experience ends. At my first visit, Dr. Benton did not even take the time to explain to me what she found other than, "A few cavities." She told me that my "treatment plan" would be reviewed with Vanessa. I was ushered out of the chair to wait for a billing person who was more interested on settling the current bill and scheduling my follow-up than explaining WHY I needed a follow-up. When I asked questions, she did not answer them with any detail. Lead to believe that I desperately needed to get these cavities filled before they got any bigger, I scheduled a follow-up for the following week at 10 am. 4 days prior to my appointment I received a phone call confirming my appointment for 10:15. Then, 2 days prior to my appointment, I received a text message and email confirming my appointment for 10:20. Concerned about the change in times, I called and left a message (who knew no one answered the phone on a Friday?). I did receive 2 calls back, one from Dr. Benton herself, apologizing for the mix-up, encouraging me to come at my original time or whenever was most convenient. By it was all said and done, I received 4 apologies with 3 completely different explanations as to what happened. Getting the fillings was as pleasant as getting fillings could be. Dr. Benton was very receptive to my sensitive teeth and at the first sign of discomfort, gave me more pain relief. However, I waited a lot. One hygienist was responsible for several patients, leaving me waiting on the hygienist to return at several points during this procedure. It was not until the numbness subsided that I noticed rough and even sharp edges to several of my fillings (there were 5 total, at least 3 of which feel rough or sharp). One is so sharp that it is wearing a sore in the inside of my cheek. I am very thankful that I have not yet scheduled appointments for my dentist-wary husband and daughter.
