Great job!! I told them about a previous experience I had somewhere else that made me terrified of dentists. They made the procedure quick and painless, I will be going back for any dental need in the future.

Went in to find out about getting a tooth repaired. After they did xrays and had the dental hygenist in which I did not need. They told me they don't provide the services required. So I had to go to another dentist. I needed them to send the other dentist the xrays. First time I called no one told me I had to sign a release so it wasn't done. Then I went in and signed the release and gave them the email address to email them to and still no help. The receptionists in the dental part are rude and snotty I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

The dentist I seen, well seen his forehead as he was covered from head to toe, was not personable or very friendly. Did not discuss anything about my care except getting some shots going and pulling two teeth, Nevermind that I was in severe pain and had an infection. Had to ask for antibiotics because he wasn't even going to give me any!! Not going back!!

M, my husband, and my one year old daughter all go here and we are very well taken care of here. My daughter doesn't like people and everyone there is very patient with her and she really likes her doctor.

This hospital seems to be going through a rough patch. Personal care and knowledge by nurses staff apparently needs review. Our experience was that nurses and doctors do not communicate and orders seemed to be missing from records. The hospital was confused about after surgery care to patient dismissal. Patient orders were lacking or not known by the nursing staff. Over all it was a poor experience. The upside the intern that preformed the surgery took time and was positive about the results of his efforts.

These people were so negligent in my prenatal care. The last time I was there, I went in for a prenatal appointment and their staff didn't even know that was why I was there! Then the nurse who came to get us had a look of surpise on her face and said and I quote, " I was not expecting you to be white because you look so dark in your picture we have." I was appalled that she would even say something like that in her profession! Then I wasn't even seen by my prenatal doctor. We left and I called in two formal complaints and nothing was done. I ended up firing them as my healthcare provider but they made me feel like I was the one at fault! I would NOT recommend this place to anyone ever!

The dental side is not only rude but one of the desk people didnt look like she belonged there. Her hair a mess acting unprofessional. I would not recommend them. And they do not talk to you like an adult. Just disappointed. Went and got a new dentist after this.visit.

I just love Dr. Abbott. He took great care of my 6 & 8 year old boys. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else. It took me a long time to find a great dentist, but I finally did. Thank you Dr. Abbott and all the staff your great.

They explained everything, also made sure all my questions were answered. The appointment was very affordable, & they got me in within 24 hours. Okay, I get that but it would have been nice for the office to let his patients know this. Not wait till after they have already made an appt to see him. Communication is not a skill the front desk has in that office. If you don't know how to relay the right information then maybe that is not the job for you. Needless to say I will be looking for another practice for my kids. would no recommend this practice to anyone with kids over ten years of age. Don't expect them to contact you if anything changes either. they seem to lacking in that department as well.

I will never return. The facility seemed dirty, and the employees at the desk perhaps should have a job where there is no need for human interaction. I was sickened in the lab when the worker handled my open bandaid, gauze, etc. WITHOUT GLOVES. I thought she would never put them on! It really makes one question the accuracy of the test results.

I was prescribed medication that I could not afford. Girl at the pharmacy asked the doctor to change one insulin to an alternative (saved me $205) then found a manufacturer discount card for the other one (went from $436 to only $10 a month). Life saver! Above and beyond what was expected. Thanks mol

I wish I could give NO stars, the place looked horrible, the woman at the rest was so snobby and rude and I drove 40 mins with a screaming kid to be turned away with NO SERVICE all because I didn't have my paper saying I had custody... For a dental visit?!? Horrible place. Will NOT return and will NOT recommend

Some of the doctors provide excellent care! however the front desk lacks in personality and people skills. Staff is rude and harsh they choose to follow a strict 5-minute policy instead of having any grace towards their patients while a patient may wait upwards of 30minutes to be seen.

I LOVE the medical staff, especially Allison Edwards. The dental receptionists are awesome but those are the ONLY reasons they even get 2 stars. I went in yesterday to have a procedure and buildup done to prepare for a crown. The temporary crown was put on around 11 and I was out the door. I refrained from eating for an hour as recommended and 2 hours later had mashed potatoes from Popyes which I "chewed" on the other side of my mouth. I had no other food. Shortly after 5 i rubbed my tongue against my teeth. My temporary cap came off. I called them up. My dentist was seeing his last patient of the day and they clised at six so they told me to come in the following day, today. I went in at 11 like they said. The dental assistant used a different adhesive and cured it with the uv light or whatever it is. We finished up and I left. I went across the street and into the parking lot and called my mom to see if she wanted anything before I left Salina. Mid sentence I told her, sonofabitch! I need to let you go, I have to go back inside. She asked why. I told her the cap just fell off. AGAIN! So, my dentist was gone because he works in K.C. too so I had two dental assistants working on my temporary cap. One pushed so hard I thought I was bleeding and started crying. After she was finished I told her, it's my furthest molar. I want it pulled, I'm not doing this anymore. They will get ahold of the dentist on Monday and tell him that's what I want done and they will schedule me in when they can. Not only am I out the 500+ dollars for this procedure (I can't complain, I have no dental insurance. Everyone else would've been 1000.) I will get no refund that I am aware of for materials used to make the permanent crown that hasn't been made yet, but I'll have to pay an additional 30+ for the extraction which is fine. My tooth was decayed so close to the nerve I would otherwise have to wait until their oral surgeon comes back in January to do the gum surgery so they can do a buildup on the actual bone itself so it's wide enough to sustain a permanent cap which would put me at not getting my permanent crown until mid-March. Not to mention, it would be an additional 300+ for the gum surgery. I am NOT happy. I have been using oral gel and ibu and haven't even ate today and it STILL hurts!!!!! If I would have known I was going to have to go through all of this, I would have had it pulled from the beginning and saved 500 dollars. P.S. I apologize for the monologue

Yes at first I was in quick to see a Dr. talked, pulled blood, talked to councilors on issues.....on the purple card and I get calls for making appointments for expensive procedures ??? Now I can't even get a decent time for a follow up Has anyone even looked at a file to see I need to be seeing you or NOT

My husband and I have been very happy with the service and care at Salina Family Healthcare Center. The staff are always friendly and we appreciate their smiling faces and good attitude. It is a teaching center so the doctors who are learning to become Family Practice Specialists do any special procedures such as biopsies or minor surgical procedures normally done in a doctor's office but they have great supervision by teaching doctors and their care is great. I would recommend the center to anyone.
