Dr. Frank and his staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable and proficient. They respect my time and are gentle with certain procedures. I've been going here for over a year and I haven't experienced a negative encounter yet. Their billing department has never double billed me, nor have they sprung up charges that weren't discussed prior. Ive moved to the Missouri side, but I travel for good service.

Terrible services. They cancelled my appointment without letting me know because they didn’t take my insurance information when I made the appointment. The receptionist was rude and condescending! Will never be back at Oasis Dentistry. They waisted my precious time. Total disappointment!

The first dentist I saw in Olathe overcharged me for shoddy work. She was at least pleasant but I definitely wasted a lot of money under her care. I started with Dr. Frank initially for my daughter but fell in love with the office staff and Dr. Frank. I recently purchased a new mouth guard from him to replace the more expensive but less effective one from my previous dentist. The work done at his office is far superior to anything I've experienced. I HIGHLY recommend him!

Never thought I'd be here, reviewing a dental office but here we are. Pre-Thanksgiving Appt. Woman at the counter, great... everything from that point forward was a joke. Paid upfront for a visit and a pano scan. Was brought to the back, they started by doing other single tooth x Ray's that weren't mentioned, paid for, etc... They couldn't see anything off them so they then took me up for the pano. Doing all of this here would eliminate the need for another consult xharge if they were to refer me to an oral surgeon. Dr. Frank was quite adamant about pulling the wisdom teeth himself after reviewing the panoramic scan. He said this to my face at least three times. That was the end of the appointment. They were supposed to email me a treatment plan and sent me off with a prescription for antibiotics. I received a Happy Thanksgiving email. I called and left a message two weeks later having received no treatment plan, leaving my name, number and email. A month into this wait I received a Happy Holidays emails. Shortly thereafter I received a bill for $66.xx for the unrequested and unmentioned x-rays. I called and left two voicemails and emailed asking why I'm receiving this bill when I paid for everything upfront and no one ever mentioned these x-rays. I did get a call back from an office manager at that point and was told they would take care of this. I do t exactly know what that means. Then she told me they were referring me out to an oral surgeon for the wisdom teeth to be removed ... Wait...what. I asked the office manager to check with Dr Frank about this because he said he would do them and cap the teeth in front of them all in one visit. End result, I finally received my treatment plan via email a month later. They are referring an oral surgeon, who I just got off the phone with, who said yes, there would be another consult charge. So basically, everything was a lie. What a horrible way to treat a customer. I would recommend that no one take their business here. If you're in pain, able to pay cash, full insurance, whatever, this is a terrible place and a complete waste of time. They will show compassion while you're there but completely forget about you when you leave.

We have been patients of Dr. Frank Blacknall at Oasis Dentistry for over 2 years. We pass dozens of dental offices during our 45 minute drive, but choose to sacrifice the convenience of a closer office because Oasis Dentistry is a beautiful, calming and professional dental office. One of my children had dental anxiety due to a negative experience, but that is no longer an issue. I can tell you that it means the world to me that my kids (including my 4 year old) absolutely love Dr. Frank and look forward to each of their dental appointments! He is gentle, highly experienced and makes my children laugh

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. WE HAD THE WORSE EXPERIENCE WITH DR FRANK My daughter is 3 years old and is missing a couple of her upper teeth due to milk decay as a baby. We had them pulled at a young age with the intention that we would get her "baby dentures" later down the road. We went in for our yearly check up and discovered she needed some dental work done. While there we brought up the fact we were intrested in getting her gap up front filled with false teeth or baby dentures but had some concerns we would like to address. Couple days later our first appt I received a phone call from the office manager to set her appt to get her dental work done. During the conversation I stated my concerns. Being 3 years old and scared of the dentist I was worried how we would get her false teeth put in without her being put to sleep. We had a 40 min conversation on the phone. I was reassured SEVERAL TIMES by her that they are a pediatric dentist and see all types of issues and can work with pretty much every situation. I was told they have separate private rooms for smaller patients, that Dr frank was a very gentle doctor and they think my daughter definitely would benifit from getting her false teeth, etc. They said they would gently swaddle her to keep her comfortable and the doctor would perform the procedure in about a hour. The day of the procedure Came. Her teeth looked beautiful. Of course she wasn't the easiest patient to work on. She was very scared but everything went fine. They scheduled her a check up 1 month later. We went to that appt. My daughter was scared to go back. Started to cry, didn't want to sit down, etc. Completely normal for a 3 year old that had to be swaddled for 1 hour during her procedure. Dr frank noticed they were lose. He said that if they fall out don't throw them away (of course we wouldnt....we just paid an arm and a leg for those) and to call them back he would cement them back in place. 2 days later they came out while eating a blueberry muffin. I called the office the sameday to make an appt. to get them put back in. I was told ....they would not see my daughter "UNTIL SHE WAS MORE MATURE". I was speechless. More mature??? My daughter is 3. You are a pediatric dentist. We just paid you several thousand dollars to get her dental work done she has had them only 1 MONTH and you won't let me make an appt to get the put back in. I am speechless and we are very angry. If he didn't think she was mature enough to get them 1 month prior why did he preform the procedure in the first place. Greed....he wanted our money. Now that he has our money he didn't care We have an appt with another pediatric dentist to complete the job. I did my research this time. Im sure this dentist understands we paid alot of money for baby teeth and understands how important it is to us.

My daughter just visited for her first cleaning! She loved the slide/clubhouse in the lobby and the TV and headphones during her cleaning. Dr. Frank and his hygienist were patient, fun, and thorough. I loved the beautiful, ocean themed office, and the state-of-the-art technology. They even used a hand-held X-ray machine so my daughter could keep her eyes on the TV! Thanks for a great dental experience, Oasis Dentistry!!

Dr. Blacknall is great at making patients feel at ease, explaining the process/procedure that needeed to take place, and helps keep the normal "dental fears" at bay. He worked around my crazy work schedule to make sure that we could get what I needed done taken care of sooner rather than later to prevent a larger problem from arising. The waiting room is comfortable, inviting for children, and the staff is wonderful. Everyone is always smiling. I came to Dr. Blacknall for a second opinion on a toothache that I had been experiencing that another dentist said wasn't an issue. Upon examination, it was found that I had a cavity. The procedure (filling) was quick and painless. I will forever be a patient while I live in the KC Metro.

Summing up my experience with Oasis Dentistry into one word: PHENOMINAL! I was referred to Dr. Frank after wanting a second opinion with concern of periodontal disease. When I called in to make my appointment the receptionist was so sweet and supportive after hearing why I wanted to come in. She provided me so much information about periodontal disease that put me at ease. Upon arrival and through my entire visit, the staff was very welcoming, personable, and took a vested approach to insure we covered all the details to accurately assess the current condition of my oral health. We started with x-rays to illustrate placement of teeth, plaque, and bone. We then measured the gum pockets around my teeth. Finally, we discussed the full scope of periodontal disease and treatment. I had left my previous office (X) being told that my gums were receding to the point that my teeth were at risk of falling out, I was losing bone mass, and that the only thing we could do at this point was intensive ongoing care. It would never get better but we could prevent it from getting worse. I was in shock! I am young, I had not been experiencing pain with my teeth, all my previous checkups were fine, and now all of a sudden my oral health was in critical condition? It just didn’t seem right. Office X had based this conclusion strictly on their measurements of the gum pockets around my teeth with no x-rays taken to visually see and provide supportive evidence. Office X was sure anxious to get started on treatment though! Had I not gone to Oasis Dentistry who took the time to use all available resources and evaluate thoroughly before making a diagnosis, I would have been receiving treatment for a condition I did not have. The x-rays showed that only one tooth had plaque below my gum line but it had not yet reached the root – not even close - and the dental hygienist was able to remove this plaque without having to take special measures. My bone line was perfect. We spent some time going over the x-ray illustration so that I could see and understand all the important details. I like to be well informed and they did not hesitate to provide me this education. The measurements of my gum pockets were within normal range too. We did discuss a few variables that may have had an impact on why my gum pockets were measuring differently; however, the extensive evaluation not only provided a firm confirmation, but also left no questions unanswered. I am thankful that I listened to my gut instinct and insisted on a second opinion. I’m also very blessed that I ended up in the hands of Dr. Frank and his staff. I know going forward that as a patient of Oasis Dentistry I will never have to second guess again.
