After having a tooth crack while chewing gum after dinner it turns out both of my upper wisdom teeth had issues. After some discussion we opted to pull all four. From when I walked in to when I walked out was <90 minutes, and the actual extraction took only 15 minutes of that, the rest was x-rays and waiting for the numbing agents to kick in fully. Seriously, overwhelmingly impressed with their professionalism, how clean the place is, that they were able to see me same-day AND complete a four-wisdom-tooth extraction in less time than it takes to get pizza. O.o They don't judge for past mistakes; they help deal with the issues you have now, and look forward to avoid any in the future, and that's HUGE.

I was taken back for my appointment right on time and given the most comprehensive dental exam I have ever had. My dental hygienist was extremely educated and very nice throughout the whole exam. Finally, the dentist was very personable and kind. I would definitely recommend NKC Dental!

I decided to try a new dentist, so I searched on google and came across this location and was sold by all the 'good' reviews. I was scheduled for a wisdom tooth removal and a cap on a different tooth. The tooth removal went by fine but while he was drilling on the capped tooth I kept tell him it was too high and he said “let the swelling go down it should lower”, it didn’t. Days later it stayed high and I noticed every time I bit down I would have pain in that tooth. I went to back to NKC dental and they told me, “it’s gonna be sore for a couple of days”, and drilled it down with no X-rays. Went to another dentist, (my original) he took an X-ray and showed me the capped tooth had a crack in it. I reluctantly went back to NKC dental to get it fixed because I wasn’t financially able to pay for the other dentist to re-do it. Well now a year later the tooth is still messed up. I can’t eat on that side because it hurts, the gap between this tooth and the next is too wide and food gets stuck in it EVERY SINGLE TIME. When I got to floss it hurts, so, so bad. To the point when I wake up in the morning from flossing the night before my whole left side it painfully sore, I can’t even bite down on it without wincing. People may think “why don’t you go back and have him fix it” I’ll be damned if I go back a THIRD time just to have him mess it up even more. Hopefully the original dentist can fix it and I won’t go broke. This goes to show that just because a place has all good reviews doesn’t mean you’ll get that same service and if it is just all good reviews something isn’t right. If you have a good business you support, don't let 'good' reviews on google lead you astray to another over hyped location

They did and told me there weren't any openings, then put me on hold for 9 minutes. Next person I started over with and they told me they could see him 6 days from now! His face is swollen and he's in a lot of pain. Thanks! That won't help us.

I was immediately impressed by the office and the dental treatment area. Meeting Dr. Busch was an absolute pleasure. The place is state of the art! There's a TV attached to the station to watch during your cleaning. The chair has heat and massage! There's a huge monitor on the wall to display your x-rays, which is super cool. And the x-rays here were the easiest experience of my life! I have a small mouth and TMJ on top of that, and the xray process is quick and painless. The staff is fantastic. My only complaint is they're too busy! It can be hard to a schedule an appointment.

Wow, can’t believe my experience just now on the phone with “kris.” I wanted to schedule a cleaning and she said that there was a spot available tomorrow morning due to a cancellation so I agreed to the appointment. She took my personal information and then began saying that my visit would include a full set of X-rays but I let her know that I just had a full set completed a month ago and had the xrays available for them to view. At that moment she immediately said that the appointment was no longer available in a curt manner without any explanation. I asked what happened and she said someone else called in and got that time in the 2 minutes that we had been on the phone. Really? She didn’t apologize and went silent. I asked when her next appointment was and after a long pause she said sometime in August. So disappointed and upset by this treatment. She was clearly upset that I didn’t want xrays and I gather the money that they would have charged. Felt like a scam and not professional. This is not the way to treat someone.

Doctor Bosch is an amazing doctor and a very wise man. I've had major work done on my teeth and every thing was great from the second you walk in till you walk out and after that they follow up with you to make sure everything is good. So I should start out by saying I hate hate hate going to the dentist. I have put it off for several years and now I have several issues that have to be addressed. I did not hate my experience at this office. They were patient, kind, and very understanding of my opinion towards the dentist office. I actually sent my son first to feel them out. Work up Friday morning with a terrible pain in the back of my mouth... and I’m getting married Saturday!!! YIKES BAD TIMING. I called every dentist office in the north Kansas City / liberty / smithville area and this is the ONLY office that could get me in on a Friday to make me all better before my wedding on Saturday! Joking aside, this was a great experience and I am happy that I got a great personable hygienist who was very detailed in her craft! Amazing setup and I truly appreciate the technology with regards to notifications and paper work! State of the art and very efficient. I just had a tooth pulled today and I am not the person who enjoys going to the dentist. I have really bad anxiety when it comes to stuff like this and all the staff that I had interaction with was fantastic. I worked with Doc V and his Nurse, they made me feel as comfortable as possible and tailored their procedures to keep me comfortable and well taken care of. I came in for a consult and second opinion about a cracked tooth. Afterward, I was filled with confidence that I'd receive good care here. At the next appointment, for my six-month cleaning and a crown on that cracked tooth, the staff was very sensitive to my anxiety about the process. When I was in extreme pain after the weekend because the temp crown's bite was off, they squeezed me into an already-packed schedule to have it looked at and adjusted, and they pleasantly tolerated the bored 4 year old I had to bring with me this time. I'm waiting on the permanent crown now and hoping I don't need a root canal, because--who does? But at least if I do, I feel like I'm in good hands.

Had an appointment this morning at 8 am. I showed up 10 minutes early and was greeted by a lady at the front desk who told me I have you checked in now go down to our other building. Once I arrived i had to wait another 5 minutes getting check in at this location. The lady asked for my ID and Insurance card which i provided and then she said we will call you. I sat down in the lobby and patiently waited.Others who came in well after I had arrived were called up one by one. My appointment was at 8am, after waiting nearly 25 minutes i walked up to the counter where the sign reads ( if you had an appointment and have been waiting more than 15 minutes please let us know) The lady seemed upset that I was asking what the issue was and indicated to me she needed to verify my insurance? Why was everyone else escorted in without delay? Did she verify there insurance? Why was mine in question? BlueCross-Blueshield easy to verify group coverage. This woman has some sort of control issues and wanted me to know she was in charge. Stay away from this place!

Every member of the staff is warm and welcoming. The doctors take time to explain everything and are extremely professional. And they do everything you need in one office. I had root canal and crown made and placed all in 1 day and had no pain after. Would not go anywhere else now.

I went to Dr. Busch and his crew for them to do what will be pretty much a makeover in my mouth. He started with a root canal and crown. I have heard so many awful stories about how terrible it is to have a root canal done. Dr. Busch and his assistant did a wonderful job. He and his assistants all have a very caring bedside manner, are all extremely professional, and overall the best Dentist I have ever been to. I would highly recommend Dr. Busch and his team.

Time was so fast this week, I had a toothache Wednesday and found the clinic through Google. I like the timings 6:30-7pm and Monday through Friday which works for me since I work all day and get off at 4pm. So i was scheduled in the next Friday, but Thursday I got continuous pain so I had to move it earlier and I got a spot. Friday my cheek was already swollen and I called for an emergency and the assistant called me back because they will give me an appointment after an hour! Was so thankful! And I got relieved! Next Friday will be my schedule for root canal. This clinic are thinking of their patients, they will try to help at their best. Thank you so much. Doctors and assistants were always great, but I’m confused by how their billing works. I’ve worked in healthcare for nearly 20 years and the way they bill just doesn’t seem like anything I’ve seen before. I was given a treatment plan that had $1473 total on it. When I was there the day I scheduled the appointment for these procedures, I asked the front desk before scheduling, "So worst case scenario, I would owe the full $1473?" They said, "Yes, that's correct." At no time was there an explanation that there was a range for each line item, or a separate fee schedule. My insurance was billed $3197, paid $1133 after insurance discounts, and I owed $1151.57. I paid the amount I owed, but it was frustrating because no one could really explain why my treatment plan didn’t have the amount they billed insurance...or why an adjustment wasn’t done to reflect my treatment plan pricing after insurance paid their portion. Every time I leave, I owe something and when I ask they tell me to look at my bill which doesn’t go into detail. I liked this place but had to find a different dentist office with more transparency.

They also made sure my wife was informed on what was happening. I can't say it was painless, I did have a tooth pulled, but they were great. I have serious dental anxiety. I have never been to a dentist office that is more prepared or caring. The office staff is always pleasant and helpful. The amenities they offer are exceptional from tv to keep you distracted, a blanket to keep you warm and comfy, and complimentary drinks in the waiting area. It makes the trips less nerve wracking.

The ladies in the clinic all provided 100 percent attention to the point of walking me to the correct entry. The only thing that I thought was weird was that the practice is separated by a building in between areas. When explained they were doing construction I understood. I have found my permanent dental home. Thanks!!

My toddler came here for a frenectomy procedure. Everyone was extremely nice and gentle with her (and her nervous mom). They turned on cartoons to help her relax and she didn’t seem to experience any discomfort during the numbing, shots or laser. I would highly recommend NKC Dental!

It was all very lovely and pleasant since i entered until i left, it's my first time visiting a dentist in Kansas since i left from my hometown Puerto Rico and it was a so much different experience! All the employees were very kind and attentive to my needs, i felt very comfortable and they all explained the things very well that i didn't need to ask them again i didn't even ask them questions because everything was cleared up. They have very advance technology, they even show you the plaques and some pictures of your teeths in a screen while they explain to you what's happening and recommend to you what's best for your teeths. I will recommend this place to everyone from 1 to 10 it's a 11.

Dr Busch has a warm and friendly waiting room. He also has a gentlewave root canal machine that does root canals with less tenderness. The gentlewave root canal cost isn’t much more than a standard root canal.

Great doctor, I now know to find a dentist, should find a good doctor, take responsibility for you, make your teeth very beautiful, eat now no problem. The dentist here should be carefully checked. The one in front of me is very bad and expensive. Doctors here check it carefully, and it's a lot cheaper. I support the doctors here.
