I cannot begin to tell you how amazing this Dr & his entire staff was/is! My daughter, unfortunately, had to go through a dental procedure that required sedation. We were extremely nervous to say the least. Dr. Iseman & his entire medical staff did a fantastic job keeping us all confident & informed with all that would be done. The job done was precise & beautiful... So much so that my 4year old's confidence literally boosted that exact day. The amazement didn't stop there. Later that night (same day as procedure) Dr. Iseman, himself, called to check up on our baby. A genuine care for his patients AND parents. We have found a safe place for our daughter to be seen at. I hope you can trust your gut/instinct if feeling unsure about picking a dentist for your child. I get you. Pick this one!

The office was very kid-friendly, staff was incredibly helpful and patient and compassionate. Dr. Iseman took time to really listen to my concerns as a parent and what was going on with my little one. He made sure I understood and was comfortable with his recommendations for treatment. I had an issue when they were going to place caps on 4 of my son's teeth and we waited for almost 2hrs but as soon as I let them know my frustration especially dealing with a hungry toddler they immediately got Michael to talk to me and had my son in the room within 15mins. Not a bad experience since, they even take their time cleaning baby's teeth.

My two youngest children have been going to Dr. Mike since they were little. (One of them is in college now and not looking forward to having to find a "regular" dentist.) They have never complained about going to the dentist - before or after their visits. Dr. Mike is very good with all ages. The kids love him as well as the rest of the staff at Wichita Pediatric Dentistry. Everyone is professional and friendly. The facility is very clean and nicely decorated. I appreciate the free wifi, the TV and the coffee/tea machine. My son likes the video game/toy room. Thank you for the excellent service over the years. Here's a photo of my son at the dentist when he was 7, wearing Dr. Mike's glasses. You can see he wasn't scared to be at the dentist! They always put him at ease.

You be the judge, but our experience is worth posting. Three years ago we took our three year old daughter to Dr. Iseman’s office for her first dental visit. She had no problems at that time and if my memory serves me correctly she had an x-ray on that visit. Six months later on her next visit, they gave her another x-ray and claimed she had six emergency spots that needed to be dealt with immediately. They tried to get my wife to schedule a procedure the following week, and recommended that before the procedure she have yet another x-ray. Three x-rays on a three year old in six months? Furthermore, the procedure was to require full anesthesia, and was to be done in their office, not in a hospital. Full anesthesia seemed unnecessarily aggressive to us. Dr. Iseman told my wife it was the "humane" approach. I was suspicious of his diagnosis, as there were no obvious signs of decay, so we requested a copy of my daughter's x-rays and submitted them to my wife's family dentist in her hometown. She saw no evidence of tooth decay either. We then took my daughter to Rock Road Dentistry and Dr. Larson gave her an exam and was also of the opinion that there was no tooth decay. My daughter is six years old now and has had only one very small cavity on one of her lower molars. Dr. Iseman’s staff called my wife several times to get the procedure scheduled. When she told them that we were not interested, Dr. Iseman himself called. Parents, please get a second opinion if your child is deemed to need any procedure that requires full anesthesia. We have been at Rock Road Dentistry ever since and are very happy.

You won't find a better pediatric dentist in Wichita. He and his staff are top notch and will care for your child's dental health quickly and efficiently. I googled pediatric dentists in Wichita and this was the only dentist office to return my call. They promptly scheduled an appointment for my son and we found out that he needed to have dental treatments performed. Our son was very apprehensive about having these required treatments and Dr. Iseman and staff were wonderful with him in providing the care he needed quickly. After the treatments, Dr. Iseman took the time to call and check on our son that evening and make sure he wasn't having an issues with his teeth or the treatments performed. Our son did not have an issues and he was out playing shortly after coming home from the office. Dr. Iseman and team not only helped him get through the treatments with flying colors but they were very efficient and quick with the treatments so our son was able to get the treatments finished and move on with other "important" things in his life. Thank you Wichita Pediatric Dentistry. You were such a wonderful experience for our little family. If I could put more than 5 stars, I would but that is the highest it gives.

I can see Dr. Iseman has a lot of good reviews. But he failed horribly with my daughter. We have been going there with our 2 children since 2013 and was happy until our last visit in Oct. 2017. I was told that she had 8 cavities and to schedule appointment for sedation. I was ok with that because I trusted him. He had done this to her in 2015. She was only 3 at the time and refused the laughing gas. Our dental insurance covered it. Well this time our insurance will cover it but not the sedation part since she was older. They wanted me to pay $1000 out of pocket and we have good dental insurance through Spirit. We have 2 kids to take care of. I don’t just have $1000 sitting in my bank account. They suggested that I can put it on Credit. That to me was a red flag. So I took her to a different dentist yesterday. She does have cavities but not as many as they said. And 1 of the teeth he said needed to be fixed really needs to be pulled out so her adult tooth can come through. Our new dentist is willing to try the laughing gas and fix what needs to be done in 3 appointments instead on sedating her now that she is older. Dr. Iseman refused to do this in Oct. So personally I think it is all about the money and nothing to do with if the child needs proper dental care. Sure it’s nice and fancy there but trust me, everyone going there is paying for it in the long run. Over pricing everything to my insurance and me as a patient. He risked my daughter being sedated just to have more money in his pocket. He doesnt even deserve 1 Star from us. Update - May 08, 2018 - Our new dentist has already taken care of all her Cavities without sedation. We did it in 2 easy appointments. My out of pocket expense was $100 to their $1000 they wanted for sedation. She did excellent without any problems at all. And the best part is she did not have to be sedated. Get a second option if you take your kids here and they want to sedated them. It’s all about more money for him. Just a warning.

We enjoyed our visit here. They had cartoons for my child to choose from on Netflix instead of daytime tv and a soft blanket for her on the dentist's chair so she would be comfortable. They work quickly with laser technology so they don't need to give novocaine. She was back to herself quickly. My other children really enjoyed the toy areas, too.

Wichita Pediatric Dentistry is exactly the type of establishment that I was seeking for my son! The environment is family oriented and very kid-friendly - offering table games in the lobby, a game room for the children and adjustable TVs with Netflix at every chair! We were fortunate enough on our first visit to interact with four members of the staff and the four were absolutely amazing and exceptionally helpful! I am very confident that Dr. Iseman pin-pointed my sons every need and that no potential concern went without notice.I am definitely comfortable with my sons dental plans here and I am glad to say I believe we’ve found a home for years to come. Dr. Iseman and the staff are simply the best. Love them. They clearly work in this field because they love children, families, and helping people. The waiting room has the best distractions for the little ones and a coffee machine for the adults, my 5-year old loves to play checkers and I'm a fan too. The chairs and work areas are gorgeous, new, pristine, clean, and natural light pours in through the windows setting a very happy and relaxed vibe throughout the office. Once in the back office, each chair is state-of-the art with tools, digital records, and TV/entertainment for the little ones. There is also a toy room full of arcade games, toys, and fun prizes. The kiddos get tokens at the end of the visit to spend on prizes from toy dispensers in the toy room that gives them something to look forward to while in the chair. However, the real treat is the staff who are all so friendly, loving, and sweet with my kids and of course Dr. Iseman who sets the tone as the biggest kid of the group with such a calming tone that my boys look forward to going to the dentist. Dr. Iseman seamlessly switches between being a big kid for the little ones, a calming presence for the older ones, and a down-to-earth adult with the parents. Every time we go, I walk out thankful that we found them and Dr. Iseman is their dentist, it is truly a great experience. Even the billing department is awesome! They were able to get my insurance to cover more than we thought and refunded the amount to me in a check. All so friendly. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Iseman and staff for you little ones. One first visit and you'll see why he's the best and you'll be thankful he's your kids' dentist as well. He truly cares, and it shows.

If I could use Dr. Iseman's office myself, I would! Haley in the office went above and beyond to get our daughter in right away when she was in pain, she had several issues, that were missed by our previous Dentist, so we were floored and overwhelmed with the information we recieved during her first visit. But his staff was amazing at explaining everything, and keeping our kids happy while I asked a ton of questions. And on the day of her proceedure, He was so patient as we asked a ton of other questions we didn't think to ask the 1st time around not to mention that he is amazing with her, and called later in the evening himself to check in on her. We will be loyal patients her!
