I’ve had terrible dental experiences leading up to my visit with Dr. Newkirk at Free State Dental. I was amazed that she was able to complete my crown in just one visit and even has the ability to perform root canals on site in just one visit. Beyond her high level of expertise, her bedside manner was outstanding and the dental hygienists and office staff were amazing. So relieved to have finally found a dentist I don’t dread visiting!

Dr. Adams and Dr. Newkirk are great! They're very good with kids. Both doctors take time to explain everything. They also do an orientation visit for a kids first time. This really helped my youngest to not freak out. The whole office is very professional, immaculately clean, and friendly!

Always a pleasant experience going to FSD. From the front office to the dental hygienist and Dr Van Blaricum, everyone is very professional and friendly. I have been a patient of Dr VB for well over 20 years. There is no dental issue that he wasn't able to handle. Highly recommend FSD for your dental care.

I was late due to ice storm and they still worked me into their schedule. Plus got me back the same day for the fillings. My hygienist is excellent. I want a thorough cleaning and I hate it when I feel like they rushed through my cleaning to catch up their day. I don't feel like she ever treats me like that. And I'm going to be a little upset when Dr. Van Blaricum retires. I've been going there for 25 years at least. I feel he and his staff have treated me well over the years.

Free State Dental is the absolute best. This is coming from someone who didn't have dental insurance in her 20s, and was afraid to even to schedule an appointment. If this sounds like you, fear not! The dental hygienist, Sarah, was extremely understanding and nice. She explained what she was doing, she explained what problems she detected, and was very reassuring through the whole process. Since that first appointment, I have gone back 4 times to get different procedures done, and have never had an unpleasant experience. Dr. Adams is a very nice and approachable guy who checks in with you throughout the procedure to make sure you are doing well. His assistant Adrienne was very gentle and careful. Mad props to Julia for being on top of everything. Every time I have needed an itemized receipt or an estimate or anything from them, she has been prompt, professional, and very kind. You guys are the best! Thank you.

I recently switched over to free state dental and I this is the best dentist office. They give you the personal attention you need and do what they can to help you save money. I did not feel as they were out to get money as my previous dentist office.

Was told by a hygienist here that there was seven year old glue from my braces still on my teeth. Even though it somehow wasn't found the 15 times I went previously since my braces were removed, I trusted the professional. The hygienist was incredibly rough, and I asked thrice to apply less pressure. I found out afterward that my tooth has a deep, noticeable, horizontal scrape. I won't be coming back- as I do not want this happening again nor do I want to put up with the bureaucracy of getting it fixed. You only get one set of adult teeth.

I had my first cleaning today with Keeli. Scheduling the appointment was easy, the front desk staff was very friendly. Keeli made me feel very comfortable as did Dr. Adams. Their facility was very updated and clean - would highly recommend!!

Unfortunately for me, I have a fear of Dental work. I'm glad that I found Free State Dental. The staff from the time I enter until I exit the building is the BEST. I no longer let anxiety prevent me from visiting the dentist. My job took me away to another state, but I still only use Dr. Newkirk & Dr Adams. I have no reservations about going to the dentist any longer, neither should you- I do NOT normally rate or review business's, but this business deserves props, if they had more than 5 stars, I'd give them whatever the limit is.

I would highly recommend Free State Dental! They are amazing! The staff is kind and supportive. I had my first dental emergency and broke my front tooth in half. The staff worked to get in after I left the emergency room to offer a temporary solution until I could get in the following day. The next day I had the first appointment of the day and Dr. Adams worked on my tooth for two hours straight! Now you can’t even tell I have a crown! I don’t know what I would have done without the Free State Dental staff!

I can't even begin to say how amazing the staff is. They're super friendly. They make me feel so comfortable and right at home. I can walk in and they check me in right away. Always have smiles on their faces. Plus I don't even have to wait long before they come and get me its less than 2-5 minutes. I'm so happy I found them! I'm a total dental phobic and go as rarely as possible so after two years I was a little worried. They could not have been more accommodating and did the clean with manual instruments instead of the sonic cleaner at my request. They were very thorough with regard to x rays, including a panoramic x ray and examination. Definitely recommend.

This was the best dental experience I have ever had. Free state dental has a friendly staff who offered me something to drink while I waited. They have cutting edge technology and blankets if you get cold. I can tell that they just want their customers to have a stress free experience there. I was super nervous because I needed a root canal and those are never fun, but I left with a smile on my face. It was incredible. If you don't choose to come here to get your dental work done, you are either loyal to your dentist or very stupid.
