I saw Dr. Zirker and on the first visit Maddie or Maddy was assisting him and on the second visit Alexa was assisting him. For both visits, I was overly satisfied and happy which is great considering I have extreme dental anxiety. Dr. Zirker was patient, calm, super friendly, and asked if I wanted to know the procedure that was happening so he told me everything as detailed as I wanted it. (Side note: I bet he is an awesome dad.) He knew I suffer from dental anxiety and took time to let me talk about myself and get to know me and my dental history before making me sit in the patient chair. I was recommended to him by someone and I have only lived in this area for about 2 months but I had no choice but to go because a crown had broke off, which is not a fun procedure, especially for someone with such bad dental anxiety. He made sure that I was comfortable and pain-free. He worked quickly and diligently and I could tell he really cares about his patients. Both assistants were equally as great. Maddie(y) even made sure it was OK with me that it would be a different assistant since she would be out of the office, which I think is extraordinary that she cared about my anxiety to that extent. Dr. Zirker and Alexa both checked in on me during my waiting period while the crown was being created in-house. Dr. Zirker and Alexa also made small talk about things that would keep me in a good mood during periods of waiting, without having the need to make you try to answer back when you have your mouth full of equipment. Alexa was great at checking in on me often as well. The entire procedure took less than 2 hours and it was the final crown. I had ZERO pain and by the time the numbing wore off a few hours later, it was like I never have had an issue with that tooth ever! I am not shocked that Dr. Zirker was as gentle, patient, kind, and excellent at his practice based on his history of training/school. I am extremely glad to be recommended to him and already scheduled a normal dental visit for next month. I'm grateful to have found him!
