I wanted to leave a review for anyone like me who was a little nervous and wanted to know an experience had at this office.
Walking in to the clinic I was promptly checked in by a kind woman who could see my anxiety, smiled and told me in a very calming manner, I'd be just fine, which I appreciated. Waited maybe 5-10 minutes and was taken back to my room where two nurses began getting me comfortable while not rushing me. They placed the "laughing gas" on my nose and covered me with a blanket. Shortly after, my IV was put in with a small pinch but at that point very little was bothering me due to my relaxed state. They also attached two pulse monitors to my wrists and a pulse oximeter to my finger. Waiting for the doctor, they talked to me about the snow and Christmas. They were also very kind and patient. My oral surgeon, Dr Nielsen, came in shortly after and was nice in the confident but collected and professional way you'd want a surgeon to be. He told me the removal of my four wisdom teeth would be an easy and short procedure and not to worry too much about the sedation part as it wasn't going to be a dramatic experience but that I'd fall asleep and wake up in a recovery recliner. I sat amongst the other recovering patients while my body took its time to wake up. A nurse came by to check on me every few minutes and spoke to my fiance about my after care instructions before helping him escort me to the patient's private exit where she had him pull the car around, to avoid the busy waiting area. Dr. Nielsen himself called me later in the evening to check up on me. After I told him I was doing just great so far, he said to call the 24 hour line with any problems or concerns.
For what it was, my experience was as I'd hoped and I would definitely recommend this office to anyone.
Good luck!
