Once I decided to take the next step in my investment, I was looking for a place that could help me reach my goals of achieving a perfect smile. I found this at Apex with Dr. Reddy and his team. I see this being an office I can go to long term for any dental need. They exceeded my expectations by helping me set a plan to straighten my teeth, whiten my smile, and gave me options to go beyond that. The staff is entirely committed to answering my questions from billing to the procedures taking place. Most places try to get you in and out, but not at Apex. I referred my family and they love it just as much as I do. Very caring and helpful. 3 months later it was my turn to get my wisdom tooth pulled and deep cleaning, he did a great job. I feel lucky to live a few blocks away from this dentistry. I was in copious amounts of pain. They scheduled me ASAP. They took care of me as fast as humanly possible. I appreciated the knowledge Dr. Brad and his assistant presented me with. Very important stuff to know. Knowledge everyone should know. Get your appointment made. Go. Nothing to fear. You'll thank yourself for getting it take care of. The lady who deals with insurance (God bless her heart,) helped me navigate through insurance information. Whole staff was great. Website indicates hours 7am to 7am but I'm guessing the 7ams and 6-7pms are for emergencies only because the front desk indicates they are open 8am to 5pm for appointments making it hard to come in during work week

Best dental care you will ever receive. After years of fear of the dentist my husband needing all of his teeth pulled. He finally gave in. Long story. .... he did get all his teeth extracted. Dr. Richtsmeier and his nurse are awesome people. Really nice makes you feel like you are apart of the family. Thank you so much for all you have done for my husband Jason. He will never go anywhere else. Jason has now gone under surgery 2 times. Like I said needed his teeth pulled badly. Dr. Ritchsmeier said he did not how he was walking around with that much infection in his mouth. Now my husband Jason cannot wait to see his dentist and his nurse. The only true Emergency Dentist in Albuquerque! I developed acute toothache that turned out to be a tooth abscess. The pain because unbearable on Saturday night and I was not looking forward to Sunday knowing there is probably no dentists that offer emergency services on Sunday. A day in the Emergency room waiting for an opioid prescription to temporize the pain did not sound very appealing. So I started googling and Apex Dental came up in the search. I called the number at 7:15 am and Dr. Reddy answered and offered me a quick appointment. He took X-rays and diagnosed the problem. He seemed very meticulous with analgesia and was checking on me frequently to make sure there was no pain. The tooth needed to be extracted but it went smooth and was painless. He even did a bone graft as apart of the procedure to prepare the site for a future implant! His technique is excellent and he pays great attention to detail. Exceeded all expectations. The clinic will answer phone calls 24/7, and Dr. Reddy will come in to help you at any time. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful, relaxing experience at Apex Dental. My hygienist Jenny is amazing, super polite, and caring. She is my go to hygienist because every time I see her, I am always leaving the place with a smile on my face. I have had her ever since I was a little kid, as seeing her makes my day. I can connect with her and love having her not only as a hygienist, but as a lifelong friend. I also had Dr. Mindy and she is super sweet and caring. She looked at my teeth too and was able to point out key points to oral functioning, such as bite, alignment, and proper oral resting motions with the tongue and jaw. Dr. Mindy and Jenny were able to show me live pictures of my teeth and live pictures of how the jaw and tongue should align when at an oral resting position. Both of these sweetheart dental professionals are extremely knowledgeable and gifted in the art of oral dentistry. I am in great hands, as I learn so much on how to take care of my teeth.

I have an absolutely panic attack inducing crippling fear of going to the dentist, so when I broke a tooth recently I didn't know what I was going to do. I went to another dentist and ended up walking out without treatment after the consultation... It was that bad... Lucky for me I found Apex Dental online. WOW. We had a weekend emergency for a family relative. Apex Dental was the only dentist office that we could find open over the weekend. Dr. Sunil K Reddy was truly amazing as he scheduled us to come in within an hour and a half of calling. He was very friendly, professional and did a great job explaining his diagnosis and treatment plan in a reassuring way. Most importantly is the fact that this dental practice has a wide range of dental expertise that not all dental offices offer. Some of their services include dentures, gum disease tx, crowns, root canals, extractions, pediatric dentistry etc. We are very pleased with the service and highly recommend Dr. Sunil.

Recently I’ve visited Dr. Sunil for my father in law and then based on the first awesome experience and treatment received now he is our family dentist. Very well equipped hospital, very nice and friendly staff. Of course Dr. Sunil has great knowledge, understanding the exact problem and accurate treatment plan compared to others wherein you receive recommendations that are not actually needed and or you have to make multiple trips to the dr for same problem. What a relief! I’m a traveling contractor and I’m rarely in the same place long enough to schedule an appointment to get in any where. Dr. Reddy got me in right away(around noon) and stayed close to 4 hours past closing time to get me taken care of. Extremely knowledgeable Dr. and staff. Dr Brad and his team were wonderful! I was very embarrassed about my teeth and knew that I would need dentures. When I came in they greeted me a smile Very friendly When they took me back to the exam room they made me feel comfortable Although they offered to turn on Netflix for me I was rather enjoying their music! Because I wanted to look great for my husband on our anniversary coming up They were very accommodating Not only did I get an exam they also brought in Lori to come in that afternoon to make the molds for the full set of dentures and even matched them to my skin tone In 1 week I had the forms to try before they finished them to see how they fit and in the second week they pulled my teeth and I had my new dentures in place! On the third week I went in for a check to see how I was getting along and he adjusted them and they fit great! All in time for my anniversary! I can’t say enough about how well I was treated! They made me feel wonderful! I didn’t have to go elsewhere for surgery! It all took place right in his office! I’m just so very happy with my experience! For the first time in my life a dentist actually listened to my needs and concerns and was pain free! I highly suggest Dr Brad and his team! You won’t be sorry! And you won’t be in pain! Walking into Apex Dental is like walking into a family that your are a part of. I was referred there and told nowhere else compares. This coming from a patient that has been going there for 10 years. A bit of an example of my experience. I had a cleaning some time back that revealed I needed a couple of fillings and a crown. Later, due to insurance, I returned to my old dentist for a cleaning and a check up on my back teeth. They cleaned them, he tapped on my teeth and sent me on my way telling me I just had sensitive teeth. I knew better. I finally went back to Apex Dental and lickety split, it was done. New crown and fillings with a very fast turn around. All of their equipment is up-to-date, high quality and honestly fascinating to watch. The staff at Apex Dental are so thorough with every process, but more importantly they are personable. Everything is high quality including bedside manner. Dr. Mindy, Julie and Jenny played a crucial part in my care, but they are all truly wonderful. Again, like family. They have an amazing practice. DO NOT go anywhere else. If insurance is an issue they have other options available. I think their option is better than Delta Dental, personally. I know this is lengthy, but I want people to know their experience going in. They are truly wonderful.

I give Apex Dental a 5 Star rating due to the faculty and staff. The receptionists are always friendly and greet you with a smile. I have not missed a 6 month check-up in more than 10 years due in part to Jenny, my hygienist and Dr. Mindi. They are always up-beat and friendly. They put you at ease while you are in the dental chair. With them, the fear of going to the dentist is non-existent.

Shady billing practices I have 2 dental insurance plans, on my primary plan I am the policy holder, on my secondary plan, my spouse is the policy holder. I had dental work done, knowing my primary insurance wouldn't cover all of it. Apex billed my primary insurance and according to my benefits statement, I owed the dentist around $250 (before secondary insurance was billed). Apex billed my secondary insurance, and received around $400 from my secondary insurance. I then received a bill from Apex telling me that I now owed around $380 to them. I called and asked why I owed $380 when my statement of benefits from my primary insurance showed I would owe $250, and that was BEFORE Apex received another $400 from my secondary insurance. Turns out, they are allowed to pick which insurance they want to use as primary. Since the insurance company with my secondary plan allows the dentist to bill the patient at a higher rate, Apex decided to use this one as primary insurance and use my primary as secondary. I looked this up, and according to Iowa law, they are allowed to do this. Even so, it seems unethical to pass the buck to the patient. If I had withheld my secondary insurance and not provided it for them to bill, they would have made less money. And I would have owed less. So, I provided them both insurances, they made MORE money that way and are still trying to bill me even more than I would have had to pay when using only one insurance. I verified with my insurance company that it is not fraudulent to withhold secondary insurance. I am not confused. I discussed this at length with the billing office. They are the ones who chose to accept the higher billing rate, this causing me to owe more. I have no problem paying for services. I do have a problem when the provider does all they can to make sure the patient has to pay the maximum amount possible.

This place saved me from a great deal of pain! I had a tooth ache on a Saturday in the late afternoon. I thought I'd have to wait until Monday until I found Apex Dental. I was scheduled at 4 pm and got the treatment needed. Since then, I've continued to return to get more work done. The staff is great and always professional! Lenny is one of my favorites there and Dr. Sunil is amazing. He won't BS with you. He'll create a treatment plan and they will work with you on payments. They also won't pressure you. Give it a try. They take all insurance. Not many places stay open that late on a weekend. Thanks Apex!

I found myself needing emergency dental help when one of my molars finally broke a Wednesday afternoon at work. Apex Dental is close by home and figured I would give them a try to see if I could stop after shift. I called to see if there was availability for same day evaluation and although there wasn’t any at the time the front desk rep Rebecca was nice enough to get me in to se Doctor even after hours that same evening. Once I was there Rebecca greeted me nicely and got me through check in process smoothly. Dr Sunil and his dental assistant were very nice and friendly. Dr revised my case and went over treatment. I left the consultation trusting my returning appointment would not be as intimidating as I expected. Apex dental team delivered a energetic and effective experience the day of treatment. Best dental experience I've ever had. Amy was an exceptional dental hygienist, spending over an hour with me going over techniques and exercises to improve my breathing and strengthen my tongue muscles to reduce clenching. I've never had a dental team take the time to go over my x-rays and pictures with me and explain in detail the techniques I can use to address lifelong problems I've had. I usually have dental anxiety that causes me to go years in between dental treatments, but the team at Apex made me so comfortable and as a result, I am looking forward to my next dental appointment-- a feeling I haven't had since...well, ever!

I was in pain and had swelling from the wisdom teeth on my left side. I was able to speak to Dr. Reddy immediately and he saw me on the same day with no appt. My upper wisdom tooth came out with no problem but my lower was a big problem! Dr. Reddy used local anesthesia and had me nice and numb so all I felt was pressure, I am a dental assistant so I know there's no escaping the pressure. It took about 3 hours to finally get every piece of tooth and root out, it was INTENSE!!! Although the procedure was long and complicated, Dr. Reddy was extremely caring and kind, kept making sure I was alright and not feeling any pain. It was hard work for both of us but was made aware of all post op instructions and Dr. assured me that if there were any issues when I left, I could call at anytime. I was called the next day to check to see how I was doing. I had my 1 week follow up today and everything is healing up quickly! Still having some discomfort but it is normal for the healing process. Front staff is also very nice, especially Rebecca! I recommend Apex Dental to my friends and family and anyone else for that matter. Thank you for taking care of me, this is my new dental home.
