Visited Traders Point Dental today for the first time on a recommendation and I can easily say it was the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Kwon and staff were professional and kind. They immediately put me at ease, which was new for me going to a dentist. Now that I found this office I won’t be so reluctant to go to the dentist! The office was clean and comfortable. Every person I interacted with seemed really happy I was there and they absolutely knew what they were talking about. She definitely makes a good first impression with new patients with identifying issues you may have and getting them addressed. This was my first visit, and for me the experience from start to finish was very pleasant. All the staff I interacted were positive and friendly, my dental hygienist Mallory made me feel comfortable! I had a tooth extracted, and Dr. Sang answered every question and concern and overall gave me reassurance about everything. I particularly liked the detailed/up-close photos he provided on the flat screen TV. It gave me a better understanding of what was going on, and I like that he pinpoints problematic or potential problem areas you may not otherwise know exist. Fantastic dental office. The staff and providers are friendly and professional and they really know what they are doing. I’ve had bad dental work in the past but thus far my experiences here have been above and beyond my expectations of what a dentist visit should be like. They explain all the procedures clearly and make sure you are aware of treatment options instead of pushing their recommendations on you. They provide small touches for your comfort and show that they truly care for your dental health. And above all they all have fantastic personalities! The staff are all friendly and fun; I always feel relaxed when I arrive there instead of nervous for my upcoming procedure. I’d recommend them to anybody looking for a great smile!

I’ve only had an initial visit. I don’t like to do reviews until I’ve been going for a while bcz I think it’s more truthful. The initial visit was as expected. Xrays, plan, cost given and everyone was very polite and fun to be around. This office was amazing! I hadn't been to a dentist in over a decade and I couldn't have felt more comfortable. I had a doctor's appointment before I had my dental appointment and was running behind they pushed my appointment and got me in. When I came in the receptionist was so sweet and kind. And it only went uphill from there. The attack was so funny and sweet and put me at such ease it would have been easy to have had a rough time with the dentist. But instead, at the dentist was amazing. I'm looking forward to going back, as much as you can be for the dentist. I highly recommend this practice. Especially if the dentist makes you uneasy.

I went for a cleaning/checkup and was treated extremely well at every stop. The paperwork was easy, and I was able to do most of it before arriving. The office as he dropping in terms of cleanliness and design. My hygienist was Amanda, who met me by the front with a smile and never stopped bring friendly or professional. She was also extremely adept at cleaning and the hygiene aspects of get job. Equally as impressive was the service. Even when the dentist, Dr. Kwon, came in, I felt like a part of family. When he said things, he showed me a live feed of what he was talking about. I improve business for a living, and if I did that in the dental space, I'd model other businesses around Trader's Point. My permanent retainer from braces broke and I needed a new one, something my normal dentist couldn’t do, so I called around and found this location and I’m glad I did! They told me all the information about my options and their typical procedure on how they do things. The dentist is awesome! He told me exactly what he was going to do and was talking through it as he performed the procedure and gave great patient education. Almost every other dentist I’ve gone to doesn’t really give you a plan on whats happening, explains what theyre doing or what to expect and he does a really nice job at that. Also my new bracket feels great ~ and he gave me a little extra cement on my lower bracket since it was a little thin. Great dentist!

I cannot say enough good things about Traders Point Dental. It had been awhile since I had gone to the dentist so I was extremely nervous about what they might find. My Dental Hygienist Caitlan put me right at ease... she was friendly, knowledgable, and took the time to get to know me. Dr. Kwon was also incredibly kind, patient and thorough. He reviewed my xray's with me in great detail, explaining the problem areas and how we could fix them. I never felt rushed or judged. I had followup appointment to fill some cavities about a week later, and honestly, I didn't feel a thing! Erica walked me through every step of the process, from the numbing to the actual procedures. Dr. Kwon also called me later that evening to make sure everything was going ok. I've never had a doctor do that! I'm SO glad I found Traders Point Dental and would recommend Dr. Kwon and his team without any hesitation.

These people will tell you the costs upfront and how much will be paid by the insurance. I had to change my dentist because they would not tell you the costs upfront. The doctor explained the process of the treatment and the medications. The dental hygienist, Caitlyn, was absolutely awesome. She was very professional and asked me many times if I was comfortable while she was using ultrasonic cleaner. The equipment and the facilities were modern and clean. Great Dental Team. Advanced equipment, nice office ammenities and a variety of ways to make dental care affordable. BUT, #1 thing about them is how much they consider and take care of you. Cliché, right? But my education and professional experience is in relationship building and this office has IT. I've been with them 6+ yrs now and here is what I can attest: they pay attention to who you are personally; they give you encouragement and optimism in your dental health care; they respect your time, but never rush; dentistry is an art to them and they apply their skill with humility, (that is my favorite part); they are gentle and detailed. The office has stellar communication skills and systems. Everybody in the office is on the same page each visit and a year later when you come back. Each person in the office clearly explains what is going on as you interact from reception to hygienist to Dr. Kwon. And while they have a variety of care options, they will ask and respect what your preferences are. They are even open and forthcoming about pricing. If they offer you an option or have a care plan for you, they will tell you the cost right away if you want to know. I always want to know. If you are looking for a great dental home...my first visit made me want to return and my mouth is in it's best shape!

I went in for a first time cleaning and exam. The environment that the employees create here is one of relaxation and comfort. I could even go as far as to say that I enjoyed my time here. Everyone seems to be knowlegeable, honest and professional. My teeth have never been this clean! Thanks for giving me a great first experience! The only complaint I have is that Google Maps does not provide the correct directions because they recently moved. Be sure to input the correct address when using GPS!

I have been to so many dentists previously trying to find a good one. Honestly going to the dentist had become my least favorite thing to do until now. The people here are amazing! I have had a crown, three fillings, and cleanings since I have been here and never once regretted my decision coming here. They take the time to know you personally and if you are uncomfortable with something they will discuss it with you and talk about alternative treatments. And there prices are so reasonable for boutique dentistry. I paid more going to Aspen dental then here.

I went to TPD on November 26, 2018 for the first time and I couldn't have been more impressed with the facility and their staff. I had three wisdom teeth removed and two teeth removed that were broken below the gum line. Suffice it to say that I was a nervous wreck before actually going through with the procedure, as I have been putting this off for years. I have been coming to Traders Point Dental for 8 years and am very happy with everyone and everything I've had done here. I switched from a dentist I had gone to since childhood. On my first visit, Dr. Kwon found 7 cavities, and I thought I was being scammed since I'd never had a cavity in my life. So I went elsewhere and got a second opinion and it turns out that I had 7 cavities. So back to Traders Point I went to have them filled and have been there ever since! I credit their great technology and how they stay up on any problems I may have. I also like how gentle they are and quick to offer anything that may ease any discomfort. The hygienists are wonderful people and easy to chat with: he has a great team to work with. Highly recommend checking them out!

I have been going to Traders Point Dental for 4 years this December. It's been a blessing! I had pretty severe anxiety about visiting the dentist due to a lifetime of negative experiences. When I called up TPD and mentioned my anxiety, and asked if they would accommodate me, they assured me they would - and they always have. Dr. Kwon takes the time to get to know you, carefully explain procedures, and patiently takes all questions. In fact, he saved me from what could have become an extremely bad health issue four years ago. See, three years prior I had a root canal done by an unethical dentist and my dentist in Bloomington never caught the mistake - Dr. Kwon did the first visit. He came to me and said "Did you know you had metal in your jaw?" Yup, my previous dentist never told me that tiny pieces of broken metal tools were left in my mouth. This caused an infection, but Dr. Kwon caught it early and he referred me to an excellent oral surgeon. In the years since, I've been a loyal customer. He's helped me with cavity fillings and even getting a couple crowns (once from my surgery and one when an old silver filling broke a tooth in half). Whenever I have a ton of questions, he is so helpful. He, like me, also identifies as a first-generation college graduate and he understands how people come from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Growing up, we were very poor and on Medicaid, and then I worked in nonprofits for years without good insurance; so I never had consistent dental treatment. I so appreciate how the staff has never made me feel ashamed for not knowing things or having so many fillings from my childhood. For the latter issue, my tooth broke on a Friday at 1:30pm and they took my in for an emergency appointment at 2:30pm - their new doctor works on Fridays (I forget his name) and he is EXTREMELY patient as well (I was legit asking him and the hygienist "I accidentally swallowed part of the tooth - am I going to die??!!" and they reassured me when my anxiety was in a downward spiral). The dental hygienists are also great - Chandra is my regular one, although I've had visits with several others, and they have always been great. They always try to get to know you, and even (I believe) take a couple notes for your file - I'll usually get a follow-up question at my next 6-month visit based on something I said at the prior visit. The front desk staff are WONDERFUL, from helping to get appointments taken to getting checked-in. Remember, I have a lot of anxiety about the dentist, and the folks welcoming me in really make a difference - they help me feel comfortable. Finally, the environment is nice. There's plenty of bottled water and even coffee, alongside several chairs, couches, and (surprisingly) some computer stations in the waiting room. The patient rooms do not have those terrifying posters of decaying teeth/gums that so many other dentists have (um, legit a reason why I was terrified of going to previous dentists). Instead, the patient rooms have a TV you can watch while sitting and another TV you can watch when you're reclining during a procedure. I love going to appointments in the mornings so I can watch Supernatural on TNT :D I still have a LOT of anxiety about the dentist - that will never change. But Traders Point Dental is so wonderful, that I actually look forward to visits.

Since my introductory visit, I have been completely blown away. Can't say enough good things about Traders Point Dental! Dr. Kwon is knowlegdable, professional and personable. His hygienists are thorough and friendly. I encountered a dental dilemma on a Friday evening (of course!). I called the following Monday and got an appointment right away. Dr. Kwon assessed the damage and explained the necessary steps to rehab the tooth. Fortunately the situation was not nearly as dire as I had feared! The issue was promptly and painlessly addressed that day. Such a relief! To top it all off, Dr. Kwon called that evening to see how I was feeling after the treatment.
