I recently had a semi-annual cleaning at Today's Dentistry. As usual, I was greeted by the front desk staff with courtesy and charm. They were ready for me almost immediately. I was cared for by hygienist Kristina, who did a thorough job but also was very efficient in her work. She and Dr. O'Neill assessed a recent chip in one of my teeth and made follow-up recommendations. Although I was one of the final appointments on this particular day, they were quick without appearing rushed, and they took time to converse and show interest in my life. Most importantly, I walked out with the pearly whites looking as good as they have in months! Thank you.

I have to say; Doctor O'Neil saw me at a time when their office was offering a dollar exam. I did not have dental insurance at the time. I was very concerned with the cost of my treatment. I came in for a cleaning and he took two X-rays that I requested we not do. Considering I had my childhood and previous dentists X-rays with me that nothing had changed since they were taken. Furthermore- X-rays do not and cannot show soft tissue infection which is why I was there. It was plain to see that my tooth was infected and had a cavity. He insisted that he needed X-rays anyway, and Told me he would not charge me for them. That day I asked him for an estimate for what I'd need done. He came back with an estimate of over $4 thousand dollars. I sought a second opinion. I ended up having most of my work done somewhere else, obviously. I'm a young person, still in college at the time- and didn't want to put myself 4,000$ in debt when I felt that I should take care of my very immediate dental needs which was one tooth. I got a root-canal done elsewhere. And came back to doctor O'Neill for a filling after the root canal. He was apparently angry that I went elsewhere for the root canal which is the only reason why I could explain what came next. He put a filling in my tooth (the front right tooth of my upper level) and used so much blue pigment that I had to use the restroom at their office there to wipe the rest of it off myself! My filling looked blue. In fact to me it was so dark blue that it looked black. Also it was so poorly done that it cracked a few days later. I came back to show him his work and explain why I was unhappy. He offered to fix it. Then insisted that I take ANOTHER X-RAY. again- X-rays do not show focal site infections and again I had copies of X-rays I'd just taken a week before! Yet he insisted on this day that I take another X-ray. Then he charged me for that X-ray and didn't even tell me he was doing so! He just mailed me a bill for $34.00 after telling me he wouldn't charge for X-rays. I had taken so many X-rays it was ridiculous. So much unnecessary radiation! He also did NOT EVER fix his terrible work. Which I wouldn't have allowed anyway, I was too scared to let him do further damage. I decided to let bygones be bygones - and have my work done elsewhere. When I met him originally he'd shared with me that his colleagues (not himself because he was uneducated in this particular field) perform cavitation procedures. And they are located in Carmel- which is where I live. I called a few years later asking him to give me the name of said places where I could have a cavitation procedure performed. As I'm currently in need of one tooth extraction and want to ensure that the procedure is done properly and that the extraction site is thoroughly cleaned, and the periodontal ligament removed. Something that Dr. O'Neill sadly hadn't been doing for any of his patients. 60% of people need cavitation to prevent further systemic infection that can and often is life threatening. When I asked his receptionist for this information- he told her to call me back and tell me I'd have to pay the $34.00 charge for the X-ray even though they'd written off that debt. Apparently she said..."it would become reactivated, also id need to come in for more X-rays (again totally unnecessary! X-rays do not show soft tissue infection. Nor am I interested in a root canal!) she also said before giving me the information or referring me- that I'd need to come in in the morning and pay the $34.00 for the X-ray and an additional $108.00 for an office visit with X-rays. All so I could get nothing done. Just a referral to the persons who can actually HELP. Just another greedy person, unprofessional. It's not about helping people it's about profit. Take your business elsewhere!

I've been with this office for at least 16 years and have visited them at least 2 times per year. I think my review should be considered. :-) My experience w/this dentist and staff has been great. Always perfect, no; but, the 2 times I had a request for a change, it was corrected and/or honored without a question. I have faith in their service.

I've never had a bad experience at Today's Dentistry. The front staff is always super friendly, I never wait long to get in for my appointment, and I absolutely love my hygienist, Ashley! Dr. O'Neil is always timely to do his checks at the end. Everything is really easy here and they make you feel welcome! Great place.

Love love love this office. I did Invisalign and Zoom whitening and every appointment went seemlesly. I've been a patient for over 7 years and truly enjoy the updated technology and thoughtfulness of all staff, including Dr. O'Neil. When I started Invisalign, I primarily did it for cosmetic reasons but Dr. O'Neil and his hygienist educated me that it was much more than that. His conservative approach and attention to details are just a few of the amazing qualities he possess. Not to mention he sent flowers to me after hearing that my family member passed. I've never had an issue with billing or understanding my treatment. Seriously, I can't say enough about this place ☺️

I loved my experience at Today's Dentistry! I went in for the first time with an emergency appointment for a cracked tooth and cavity. Never once was I made to feel guilty about neglecting it for so long and I was immediately reassured that one way or another I would be taken care of. Dr. O'Neil was very open and honest about the procedure and the risks of filling such a deep cavity. My hygenist was so sweet and informative as well. I tend to be very anxious surrounding dental procedures involving a drill and I explained that upfront to the staff. Both Dr. O'Neil and my hygenist were sensitive to that and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I was offered laughing gas which helped a lot and I would reccomend it to anyone who is nervous. My hygenist kept me updated on what was happening during the procedure which really calmed me down. I will absolutely be returning for my routine dental maintenance in the future and I am so happy to have found a dentist I trust.
