Dr. Ryan Mills IS THE BEST DENTIST I'VE EVER BEEN TOO! By far the best dental experience I've had! I had a broken wisdom tooth pulled and only took about 20 minutes thats including getting nitruos gas and the numbing injections. Ive had bad experiences in the past with different dentists and i was very nervous prior to going back and he did so good keeping my mind off what he was doing and before i knew it he was showing me my tooth he popped out in 5 min. This experience was the best I've ever had. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a Dentist. My wife is going next week and instead of pulling her teeth like other dentist offices wanted to do, he will be able to save all her back molars too and bottom in only 4 visits! He is a straight forward Dentist and very gentle and has a great bedside manner! Awesome experience.

I went to this place terrified I had to have 26 teeth pulled . Dr Ryan mills comes in and tells me I’m gonna be crazy numb . Well let me make this short and sweet I was so numb it felt like I was hollow. I had no pain at all after. He is the best dentist ever. He will make you feel as if you were at home and not at a dentist office . I got this done December 5th and I’m now eating steak with my dentures and have been for about a month now. He will make sure you are in no pain. Your simply the best better then all the rest lol. I’m smiling.

I especially enjoy the TV in the waiting room and while in the Dentist chair:) This place is a well oiled machine from check in to check out. The dental assistant was the best part of my visit. She told me step by step what was going to happen and how I would feel. She used to be in the rodeo and I thought that was pretty cool. The dentist was telling me how great of a rodeo girl she was wrestle the calves to tie them up. That was actually a joke but the reason I tell you that is because they made me feel comfortable as they knew I don't like going to the dentist. They are pros and my teeth look great with my new crown and filling.

I've gone to several dentist offices and this one is by far my favorite. The staff is genuine and friendly. My hygienist, Katie, is thoughtful and attentive. She always seems to remember the things we talk about visit to visit and is great at her job. Dr. Mills also makes a point to really speak to me and my husband each time we visit and obviously takes great care of our teeth as well. I would recommend this office to anyone :)

I have been a patient of Southport Dental for about 4 years now. I also take my 4 year old son there. All of the staff are always friendly and smiley. The staff and Dr. Mills are really good with my son. He LOVES going to the dentist! He frequently asks if he can go to the dentist to get his teeth cleaned. I never have to wait long for my appointment. They are very good at explaining things from dental care, to billing. The office is always clean and tidy, including the bathroom! Overall, it is a very pleasant experience going to the dentist.

I walked around with a broken tooth for months until I found Southport Dental. I looked them up on the internet and was very pleased with the reasonable pricing. I had to have a root canal and was very nervous about it because it was my front tooth. Dr. Mills is a wonderful dentist who makes you feel at ease and pretty easy on the eyes also lol. Seriously they are very professional and I love the decor in the office especially the TV in the dental chair. I have learned many home improvement tips just from going to the dentist. The staff is wonderful and they treat you like they have known you forever even on your very first visit.

Typically going to the dentist makes me scared and uneasy but walking into Dr. Mills' office and the surrounding atmosphere and seeing the smiling faces on all of the employees made me feel better about it all. Dr. Mills is the best dentist Ive ever had. He saved me thousands by fixing my upper bite with a little grinding when other dentists wanted to send me to oral surgery among other solutions. He fixed it on the spot, acted like it wasnt a big deal. He saved my tooth! So many other dentists didnt do anything or wanted to send me to a specialist. Staff is very helpful as well.

I LOVE the care I receive at Southport Dental!!!! My Dental technician is Christy. She is a sweet-heart with a great sense of humor. She gives great dental care in prep for Dr Ryan Mills final check. Then Dr Mills gives the final check, asks how I'm doing and usually tells me a fun true story upon my request, I love that!! They are a great team! I also love it that as soon as I walk in, the receptionist always says "Hi Mary", with a smile. I never have to tell her who I am :)

Its a clean office that looks modern but has cool paintings with dinosaurs which my boys love. Office staff is friendly and ontop of things. My very first extraction ever, and while a molar extraction is not at all pleasant, Lindsey and Dr. Mills were fantastic. His great humor truly helped my anxiety of feeling the pain and they were so informative and that made me feel at ease. I felt no pain whatsoever, just a tiny discomfort, which is completely tolerable. Even the day after the procedure, I am not sore or swollen and able to be back at work. If you are considering a new dentist, I highly recommend this doctor and staff.

I think Southport Dental is a fantastic practice, and I would recommend to all of my family and friends. Caity is my hygienist, and does an excellent job, whilst I have always found Dr Mills to be knowledgable, reassuring and highly professional. I must ask Anne Rector if she has ever had a positive experience worth writing about? Over 100 reviews, most damning and actually pretty abusive - a day in your life must be a pretty miserable affair. I’m sorry you clearly have such a hard time seeing the good in this world Anne - smile and the world will smile back at you! Anyway, as I said, excellent practice, you won’t be disappointed!

I chose this dentist at least partially based on the reviews I read here. However, after visiting the dentist, I'm left wondering how many of these were entered by office staff. I called to make an emergency appointment and was seen 5 days later. I arrived & left in severe pain and still have no idea what is wrong, nor do I have a plan for fixing the problem. The dentist's "exam" lasted all of 1 minute and resulted in "I don't see anything wrong." His guesses were nonsensical and did not correlate at all with the symptoms that I explained in detail. This visit was a waste of my time and was 5+ days I could have been with another dentist. Not recommended.

Staff and Dr. Mills very personable, they make you feel welcome. I got some cavities filled, and everything was fine. Couple months later, I have no ability to floss between the teeth that were filled, and they forgot to fill an entire cavity in my lower molars. I was also told that my wisdom teeth did not need to be removed, after being told by another dentist that it was crucial to remove them within a year. I’m currently in the process of finding a new dentist.

Unfortunately the past two visits have been quite unfortunate to say the least. Both visits I've had abnormally long wait times due to a high volume of patients. This isn't just a normal volume it's over booked. period. It's quite obvious Dr. Mills is attempting to cash out at everyone else's expense. The Main lobby was absolutely filthy on my second visit( I came in as soon as the practice opened.) It was apparent that the lobby hadn't been cleaned in at least a day and a half or two days. Piles of salt had collected in every corner of the lobby. Upon visiting the bathroom I found the receptacle hadn't been handle in quite some time either as the paper towel was overflowing. Last but not least I was quite offended at the changing table offered in Dr. Mills family restroom as it didn't have and straps to harness the baby to the changing table. Huh? Not very safe Dr. Mills. I would not recommend this practice to anyone who values their time or has a tight schedule. Please feel free to check out the pictures I have posted here for your convenience. To Dr. Mills you can do better... We know you are making a killing with money by cramming people into your office and quickly doing patch work from one patient to the next. Try and have your office staff who spend more time in the back then at the front desk do some cleaning. Maybe update the chairs in the main lobby. Thanks SomeoneYouKnow

I was a nervous wreck about going to the dentist however a broken tooth that was causing a great deal of pain gave me no choice. I spent hours researching different local dentists and asking for recommendations and came to the conclusion that Dr Mills was the best and man am I glad. I had a root canal done and prior to I thought that he was just looking around in my mouth but little did I know he was giving me numbing shots. That is how good he is. I felt no pain what so ever. Everyone that I have come in contact with has been absolutely amazing there. I have many more things that have to be done to my teeth but my fear is now gone. I will certainly be back for years to come.
