Love this practice!!! People are so nice and helpful, and dr Johnson is a very good dentist. He does things differently to make sure you have no pain!! I use to be nervous about getting the numbing shots but not with him he is awesome:) just had an oral surgery procedure and went very well!!! Would definitely recommend this practice to everyone!!!

Been coming here for 18 yrs plus and dont mind going at all. In fact I feel relaxed when walking in. Dr. Johnson worked on my teeth and I couldnt be any happier! The whole team is very nice and I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson to anyone looking for a good dentist!

I was a long time patient of Dr Quill and was very impressed with the change over to Dr Johnson. Dr Johnson took the time to meet me while I had an appointment with Dr Quill and was very sincere and professional. He really took the time to get to know me and expressed how happy he was to take over my care. The dentist office itself has had a makeover as well and it is beautiful! Nice new hardwood flooring, new decor and updated equipment. I couldn’t be more happy with the service I have received. Most of the original staff has stayed and they are professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. They are always available when I call, and if I have any needs or concerns they are met with understanding and patience. Shout out to Kim- You’re the best! I really will not go anywhere else and I refer all of my friends and co-workers here. I am a ‘frequent flyer’ and have spent so time in this office in the last year that I considered putting a cot in the back ;) They are like family to me and Dr Johnson always remembers to ask me about my recent trips or whatever I was talking about the last time I was in there. My insurance is even out of network and I still go here! If you’re looking for a new dentist, give them a chance - you will love them.

Former patient of Dr. Quill. Will not return, will not be a patient of Dr. Johnson. A real injustice for all of Dr. Quill former patients. Dr. Johnson's appearance was horrible. His shirt was extremely wrinkled and didn't look to be very clean. The staff is not the friendliest bunch of people, and doesn't seem to be as knowledgable as Dr. Quill's staff. Dr. Johnson did not seem as though he was really interested in having us, my neice and I, as new patients. I was used to being treated with care and compassion by Dr. Quill. Always professional, yet kind and caring. This is not what I experienced with Dr. Johnson and his staff. When I was checking out, his receptionist, Kim, made a comment that was could have been taken as extremely offensive. There was no need to address the matter. I knew my family would never return. Two weeks later I visited "Hall Family Dentisty", on Southeastern Avenue, and was absolutely thrilled with my choice. The front office staff is great! Warm and welcoming! Dr. Hall is AMAZING!!! Both of our girls fell in love with Dr. Hall and his staff. Money well spent! If you're missing Dr. Quill and in search of a wonderful new Dental Experience try "Hall Family Dentistry".

My son came home complaining about the 20 min wait to see hygienists and 30 min wait for dr. I didn’t think anything of it until I just went to take my daughter. After 30 min wait I went to desk to ask why the wait. She then tells me the appt was at 1:30 not 2 if that is the case why wouldn’t u have said something when I checked in. I also don’t buy it because the young man sitting next to me the whole time was just called up and was told his appt was tomorrow not today. Made the young man wait over 30 min to tell him. Needless to say I made the decision to not meet the new dentist after all if the appt r going to be like this. Oh how I miss dr quill.

When Dr. Johnson took over for Dr. Quill when he retired, we were a little nervous, as Dr. Quill had been our long time family dentist. However, Dr. Johnson is GREAT! His knowledge and family atmosphere, really helped take the apprehension away, my fiance feels, when attending a dentist. The front staff, are kind, helpful, and willing to fight for clients rights. Kim, who works at the front office, was extremely helpful when we were having trouble with our insurance, and transferring my fiance's profile from a different dental provider. I highly recommend South Indy Dental, and look forward to continuing my visits with Dr. Johnson, every six months!
