I have been with Northview Dental for years. I keep going back because of the people who work there. Not only do I have confidence in their knowledge and technical expertise, the staff is very welcoming. Recently I had an issue with a tooth. Everyone in the office - Ashley, Danielle, Misty, Laura, Sam, Raina - expressed their concern and tried to comfort me. They quickly referred me to a specialist. And Dr. Benson even called the next day to check on me! It made me feel like they really cared about me. I would not go anywhere else!

I walked in the door and was immediately greeted by two gals up front - very friendly! I sat in the waiting room and was pleased to see how clean and neat it is. Then I went back for my cleaning! Went great but not surprising, as Sam rocks! Met another Dentist who did my check up...very nice! I have to say it was a GREAT experience. This is a very long story but I feel future patients should be aware of how Northview Dental chose to conduct business with me. I had just started going to Northview Dental after my dentist of 10+ years retired. I went in for my first cleaning and had mentioned pain in my lower jaw. They took x-ray’s and Dr. Benson informed me a root canal was needed. The root canal was scheduled and upon receiving it (performed by Dr. John Pasicznyk) other than the moderate pain that coincides with a typical root canal all seemed well. Fast forward a few weeks later and many sleepless nights the same pain grew to be excruciating. I visited them 5 or 6 times to figure out what would be causing the same pain to not go away and I was continually informed that they couldn’t find anything wrong (after taking more x-rays) so they would “fix” my bite in hopes that was the problem. I started to feel like they thought I was crazy and making it up. The pain then became so bad I couldn’t take it anymore so they referred me to an endodontist. Unfortunately, the endodontist Northview Dental wanted to send me to could not get me in till the next day and here is where the real conflict lies. Since I was so desperate for answers and for the pain to go away I took it upon myself to find someone that could work me in that day. The first thing the new practice did was take an x-ray and were able to see immediately what was causing the very aggressive pain. They explained that the pain was caused by “excessive material in the root of my gum”. Basically Dr. Pasiczynk went too far down on one side of the root causing the extreme nerve pain. I was stunned and immediately so angry that Northview Dental did not catch this the first visit back when I complained of the pain. To end a long story, I needed a surgical procedure done to cut open my gum and cut out the extra piece that was left. This cost me way more money than what I was planning on paying and time off of work. Northview did not apologize for any inconvenience or for the agony I had been in for weeks and because I hadn’t gone to the office they referred me to they were not willing to discuss anything further. They only briefly explained that these things can happen and there is nothing they will do.

I was looking for a new dentist and came across Northview Dental. They were very friendly on the phone scheduling my appointment. They did more than I expected on my first visit to make sure they had a complete picture of my mouth and teeth to make sure they provided the best care possible. I had just broken a tooth, and since I didn't have a "regular" dentist, I recieved a list of PPO dental providers. I selected Northview Dental, mostly for their closeness to my home, and I liked how the dentists had put in time at the VA hospital. I am now establishing Northview Dental as my regular dental care provider. The staff is excellent, from the front desk to the Dr's. This office is very modern, imo. Not having been in a dental office in a while, I'm surprised by the in-house services offered. I.E., I had my first crown done today, 9-11-17. The prep work was done, and the "new tooth" was made while I waited. It was then "fitted and installed". From the time I sat in the chair, this all took around 2 hours! Maybe this is common place now, but to me, dentistry has come a long way. Northview Dental will be taking care of my dental needs.

I could not say enough good things about this Dentist office. Everytime I come in I am kindly greeted and asked about major life events like my recent wedding & honeymoon, and smaller details like how my dogs are. Everyone is incredibly friendly, above and beyond, and not just to patients but to each other as well! They are incredibly thorough in practice and in explaining plainly what they are doing and why. They don't gouge your wallet, they help you find the best option for your health and financial well-being. They treat you like a friend rather than a source of income and that is SO refreshing. I've lived in several cities since leaving for college (now 27 yrs old) and have been to Dentists in each, including here in Indy, and have never had such a warm and welcoming experience. I would recommend this Dentist office to absolutely anyone and am so happy to have found them.

I really appreciated the high level of communication--both before and during the procedure. I've never experienced 'same day service' for a new crown and was quite impressed with her process. This is the best experience I’ve ever had on a trip to the dentist: while, generally in the past, I’ve had less than desirable experiences at the dentist, this trip turned all of that on its head. The entire staff is welcoming and friendly, as well as personable. I was greeted with warmth by the two wonderful ladies at the front desk. On top of being informative and straightforward about what the they are/will be doing at all times when back for any procedure, the hygienists and doctors are comforting and accommodating, and they’re obviously enthusiastic about their work, thus showing the level of professionalism and skill of all involved. I have been going to Northview Dental for one year now. Very pleased with their care. The staff is very nice and professional. The office is extremely clean and well cared for. I like the fact their equipment is the latest technology. This means digital X-rays (Less X-Ray exposure) and I have had several crowns and they were able apply them in one visit and in less than two hours! This would have meant a second trip at my old dentist and a temporary crown for at least a week. I had cracked a tooth this week and they were able to get me in right away and even worked over their lunch to help me. You will not be disappointed with their work or their care.

Every single time I go in, there's some new procedure, technique or technology that is being used, all geared towards creating a pain-free, efficient and satisfying patient experience. My family has had it all - fillings, root canals, crowns, wisdom teeth extractions, implants, custom mouthguards and Invisalign - all done at the office - no more being sent out to a "specialist," whom you don't know and don't exactly trust. No exaggeration, this may have been the best dentist experience of my life. I really dislike going to the dentist. I hate the scraping of the tools on my teeth and the poking of my teeth for cavities. I don’t know why I’ve always had such a fear but Olivia, Luara, Ashley and all the other staff here made me feel so at ease and calm. They offered anything to make me feel better from using different tools that scraped less and noise canceling headphones to block out the sounds. They were all so kind and personable and made me feel like I had been going to their office my whole life. This is such a great dental office!! I received braces (had them on for 14 months) and had gingivoplasty done. The staff is so polite and very professional! Dr. John and his staff are so wonderful and so gentle that I no longer dread the dentist. After 6 weeks of struggling to nurse, barely sleeping from having a gassy and cranky baby and working through nursing, bottle feeding and then pumping to retain my milk supply I realized something was not right. Being a new mom is very challenging but this was a whole new level of exhausted. After some research I realized little Grace had all of the signs and symptoms of being tongue and lip tied. I could not believe how common and undiagnosed this condition is with newborns! Thanks to a referral from a family member I was able to bring Grace in to see Dr. Gershman Monday morning and in the matter of seconds she was able to help Grace using a laser! The entire procedure was great....I held her while Dr. Gershman worked and immediately she was able to hold a pacifier in her mouth and latch during nursing! We are so relieved I wish I had known about this when she was first born! The laser was non invasive compared to other treatment options which involve surgically snipping the tissue. Thank you Dr. Gershman and the Northview Dental Team! Grace and I can finally get some rest!

I was very impressed with their whole staff, from receptionist to hygienist to the Dr himself. This was a very good experience and I have already referred two other people to them. Did an implant 3 years ago with Dr. John Pasicznyk. After multiple delays and excuses I got the implant that in three (3) years later I need $3500 to redo bone and tissue crafting in order to be saved. In addition to that, I was under his care while I have had 8 crowned teeth with undetected cavities although teeth cleaning and examination was done 4 months prior and under scheduled appointments for few years before. Staff were excellent but be conscious of this Doctor.
