Dr. So & her assistant were very friendly, kind, & gentle with someone who waited 10+ years to return to the dentist after a shaming painful experience... Dr. So explained the procedures & answered my questions thoroughly!! Her bedside manner was very comforting & reassuring!!! I highly recommend her services!! The only suggestion i have is knowing when someone with the amount of anxiety I have makes an appointment do not try to cancel with them the day before because it can cause even more anxiety & fret!!! The staff and doctors at Mass Ave Family Dentistry are fantastic. They are professional, personable and punctual. I cannot emphasize enough how much I recommend this practice. My experiences have all been extremely positive. I’ve had quite a bit of work done here: a crown, multiple cleanings, and I am actually scheduled as of writing this for some fillings. As for the crown, my tooth was fairly damaged and was extremely difficult to repair after having a root canal; they managed to save the tooth and I haven’t had any problems: no pain and the crown has remained firmly attached and undamaged. During their cleanings they are thorough, and, maybe most importantly, gentle. They’ve yet to so much as knick my gums during a cleaning. Every time I leave, I am completely satisfied with my treatment.

Other people will blow your problems out of proportion and can have a cold approach. I am honestly not a fan of going to the dentist however they were personal relatable and explained everything as they went. They all genuinely seemed to care. Between the people the relaxing televisions and great ambient music, they turned something I dread into a pleasant experience. If you are able to go here versus another place choose them hands down.

I recently started working downtown and decided to find a new dentist so that I could easily walk to my appointments during the work day. After all the great reviews I read the choice was very easy! They use the latest and greatest techniques and equipment. The office space is very quiet/relaxing/modern as well. Everyone I met from the moment I walked in the door until I left was very professional and courteous. The hygienist is FABULOUS - very gentle and willing to stop and answer all my questions throughout the cleaning process. Dr. So is incredibly kind and really nice to chat with as well! I appreciate their honesty and they are not in the business of up-selling products/services. They don't rush you in and out like you're just another $$$ either. I HIGHLY recommend Mass Ave Family Dentistry!

Staff was wonderful. Every step was explain with detail and a smile. Time was taken to assure I wasn’t nervous or uncomfortable. Dentist do not bother me but as this is a common fear for most people the steps taken spoke volumes with regards to their attention to such things and how to help. Options were given for a new service that I couldn’t previously afford and I was fitted same day even though this wasn’t planned. Being in the medical field and understanding what it takes to do what everyone with your office did I can’t say enough positive things. Amazing job and thank you for making my transition to this city that much better.

Such a welcoming dental office. I made an appt for myself and 2 young boys. They were fantastic with them that even the almost 2 year old cooperated. I felt so at ease when usually I'm a ball of nerves getting my teeth cleaned. The hygienist was thorough and nice, I was able to relax and let her work without being tense.
