I had an absolutely horrible experience as a new patient. I was unable to make my first appointment as a new patient, so I called in advance and requested to reschedule. The receptionist said that I could reschedule to another day and told me everything was taken care of in regards to moving my appointment. When I showed up for my rescheduled appointment, I was told that I didn’t have an appointment. The front desk at this practice is extremely disorganized and I was very agitated that I wasted time and money over this poor organization.

It was not explained to me how long I would be sitting waiting for the numbing to take effect. Although I was given a remote for the TV I thought I was to watch it during the procedure. I didn’t know how that would be possible. Like I said an explanation of the timetable would have been helpful During the procedure it would have been nice to be given a “play by play” of what was going on Fortunately I have not had a need for much dental work so the experience was a bit unsettling

Dr Martin has great bedside manners. His staff is friendly and courteous. His office is very clean and every room has a theme with a neat vibe. There's good energy at this office which gives me the confidence to trust in their work. I have been to Dr Martin 3 or 4 times and have had ZERO problems with my fillings, cleanings and most importantly with the billing! I always have questions for my doctors and he answers your questions without making you feel as though you're bothering him. This is great quality care. My previous dentist stopped practicing and referred me to this practice. I could not have been more impressed. They called me by name when I walked in the door even though I had never been there. Very straight forward and did not push anything on me that I did not need done, even told me it would be silly to get a procedure done that my previous dentist was pushing for. Very kind in the advice on what to do in order to keep my teeth and gums in current state of health while offering tips and not scolding. I highly recommend them!

This Dentist is awesome. Dr. Stephanie, office manager Carey, the new assistant from Texas, and entire staff made all my visits a pleasure. Carey is a pro at making temporary crowns and Dr. Stephanie does a great job with the permanent crowns. If you have any fear about pain don't worry they are wonderful at making sure you have minimal to none. I would trust any they say they are going to do. Everyone hear is always happy with smiles on their faces. I could go on and on about more great things but I'll end it hear. If your in need of a great Dentist this is the place to be.

Great Dentist, I initially came in for a second opinion because I felt my dentist at Bright Now Dental messed up badly on a filling, although Dr. Martin agreed with my previous dentists diagnosis, they didn't charge me for the X-rays and I just enjoyed the people working there and Dr. Martin so much, they earned anew patient. I also used their referrals to get a root canal, and had them complete the crown afterwards. They have a great staff, new clean building, and top of the line equipment. Plus you can watch your own TV while you are in the chair. Highly recommend.

I am a total chicken when it comes to a doctor or dentist, My health has been going down hill for the last few years because of broken teeth and I would not go to have them fixed till it was too late. Well this morning Friday the 13th I saw past my fears and called Martin Dentistry around 10:00 am and they had me come in at 12:30. The 2 teeth were killing me and had to come out because they were infected and broken. They are so kind and caring there and had them out fast. This place sucks. I got some fillings a week or so ago still pain where fillings occured and my bite is off. On top of the fillings being subpar, I'm having trouble. Chewing on that side of my mouth. Then to top it all off their estimate of my out of pocket was 500$ off. When I called to figure out why I was misquoted I was hung up on 3-4 times in a row, pretty childish behavior. Wouldn't go back if someone else was paying.

Martin Dentistry is the BEST! I was in Indianapolis last week for a family memorial when I cracked a temporary veneer in my sleep and was panicked about getting it fixed. I called Martin Dentistry and Susie at the front desk was incredibly helpful was able to get me in that day. Their lead hygienist Carrie took amazing care of me! She made my teeth look incredible!! She even offered to come in and fix anything that didn't feel right over the weekend even though their office was closed. I highly recommend the team at Martin Dentistry, they are the best of the best!

My issue isn’t with the dentists. It is that they never bill correctly. I was told I would owe $125 for the next appointment. After the work has been completed they asked for over $600. After some tears they said I can give $300 now and the rest in a month so I did. When I called to give the 2nd payment, they said they aren’t sure what the charge is so I will need to wait. A while later I got a bill for less than $100. What if I would have paid the whole thing? They also said I was completely out of benefits, but my insurance company sent a statement saying I had $49 left. Another coworker had the same problem and she fought with them to fix the charges. She now requires a preauth before any procedures so she can check it. So....why do they have anybody filing the claims of you just have to basically correct their mistakes as a customer? No thanks. I’ll go somewhere that appreciates accuracy to save their customers frustration. Also if you are a customer, make sure you call your insurance company before or after any procedure to make sure they are billing you properly. You may be shocked at what you find.

I’ve waited a long time to write this review because I wanted to give the pain time to subside. I came in to get a cavity looked at. The Dentist talked me into getting three filled. He wanted to replace one that had cracked a new one. I don’t know who did it, but I was unhappy. One of their Dentist later told me I had a bruised gum, and the filling wasn't smooth. I was in excruciating pain and they talked me into waiting two weeks to give it time. I waited the two weeks but I still needed to come in they told me to wait longer. Finally a month later someone stayed late to fix it, I appreciate that. It's been a couple of months but I still have difficulty chewing food on the left side of my mouth.

My first impression was good, the dentist and the dental hygienists were all professional and friendly. On my second visit I had 2 cavities filled and cleaning done, which used up all my insurance and I had to pay $250 out of pocket which was fine. That brought my account to 0, the lady at the checkout are even said as much. But a few weeks later I get a bill for another $200 for a third cavity filling that they didnt even do... 1. I never agreed to have that 3rd cavity filled, 2. there is still a cavity in that tooth so I have proof that they did not work on it, and 3. When I called to let them know there had been some kind of mistake the office personnel I spoke with, after a quick discussion told me that basically she thought I was lying and that I was just trying to get out of paying my bill. Uhh.... What?? If this kind of unprofessional attitude is the norm for this place then I have no idea how they got a good reputation. But whatever I have a nice collections account going against my credit score now and they wont be seeing my business again.

While friendly and accommodating, i would NOT recommend Martin dentistry. Here's why: Before coming in for a check-up, my financee had recently come in for one. At the time, she was told she had 8 cavities (even though her x-rays did not clearly reveal any). Because this seemed high, the next time she was home visiting family, my financee popped in to her family dentist. (The same dentist who had been monitoring her teeth for the last 28 years.) Her family dentist said she had ONE cavity! So, according to Martin dentistry, she needed to have 7 additional cavities filled. What might be going on? My visit to Martin Dentistry makes me suspect that they may be attempting to fix was doesn't need to be fixed. This can have problems down the road. Martin Dentistry told me i had four or five cavities (cant remember which). In addition to this, they highly recommended i replace my two front teeth (which are veneer crowns). This is a very expensive procedure so, considering my financee's experience, i figured i should get a second opinion. So, just like her, i went back to MY family dentist. He agreed with Martin Dentistry that veneers only last so along and that perhaps my two were on their last legs. But, he has said that he couldn't 100% diagnose the presence of decay without removing the veneers. (Martin Dentistry was much more confident that i NEEDED this expensive procedure.) Furthermore, he also said that only one of my teeth had a cavity. He went so far as to say that Martin Dentistry may be practicing unethically for recommended so much work that was not warranted (i.e., for which they did not have strong evidence). Bottom line: While it is important for your dentist's office to be friendly, i would be careful not to choose one based solely on this criteria. It seems like Martin Dentistry may be in it for the short-term, not the long-run.
