Edgewood Family Dental is an amazing practice. Im a new patient, and I dread going to the dentist. As soon as you walk in, the ladies at the front desk are very warming and cordial, immediately alleviating any stress about visiting the dentist. I filled out the paperwork, and I was shortly greeted by Jamie, the dental hygienist who took care of me. She was very professional and thorough. After the cleaning, Dr. Stevens came in to give me an assessment. After relinquishing the fact that I haven't been to the dentist in three years, and that I'm a new patient, I was worried that I might be taken for a buck. However, she was very professional and honest - I had no cavities. They are very transparent and really empower the patient with knowledge about what they are doing. The sheer amount of professionalism and honesty that they exude will keep me as a patient.

New patient appointment was scheduled 2weeks out, 3 days later got a call they had a cancellation and could get me in the following day! Walked in before 8am and was immediately greeted by friendly staff. I filled out my paperwork, then they called me back within 5 minutes of sitting in waiting room. They quickly got to work with xrays, exams, and a plan for treatment of my oral health! Finances were an issue for me currently and they offered options to get me the care I need all while remaining within my budget doing necessary dental work first then non urgent later, spreading it out so it's not a lump sum at once. Staff and Dr. Steven's are wonderful and really made me feel like they cared which made me feel more comfortable and not so embarrassed by the reason I made my appointment after putting it off for far too long. Walked to desk to schedule my next appointment and was handed 2 beautiful daisy flowers wrapped in tissue paper!!! Never have I been to a dentist or doctor for that matter, who handed out flowers to patients!! Made my day and they gained a long time patient! Thank you all.

I’ve never missed an appointment, but if you don’t respond saying your coming to the appointment they will fill in your spot. Maybe you should tell customers that is what is going to happen, but for a customer who hasn’t missed an appointment I’m not going to reconfirm an appointment I’ve already made. The staff is nice but this policy should only be in place for people who have missed appointments before.

My dentist, Kristie, was friendly and took plenty of time during my first visit to examine my teeth, point out future problem areas (and how they were different than other spots), and answered all my questions. The hygienist and tech were also friendly and helpful. I did have to wait a bit after my scheduled time to get started, but it was not unreasonable. I was referred here by my brother and would recommend it to others as well.

My two recent visits were excellent. April, my dental hygienist, was exceptional. She did a great job polishing, removing plaque and making my teeth sparkle! She also answered all my questions (I usually have a bunch!). Dr. Kristin is always pleasant and helpful. One small cavity on the lateral aspect of #32 was discovered and I was scheduled for "drill and fill" fun the next week. That visit was excellent also. Prompt, no pain, out the door wearing a big smile! :o))

My 3 year old was a little apprehensive but the hygienist did an excellent job and had her laughing in no time. I have to admit that my entire visit was pure joy as always, and as an added surprise, my new lady was named April, and from now on, she and I will be a team, as she's exactly what I have been searching for, a complete package that being deaf and nearly deaf, I now have someone to work on me that I can carry on a better conversation with during treatment, so for me , she's clearly a keeper. Not only all that, she seems to know what tool to work on each tooth too, even the 29 I'm missing. Have a great weekend ya'll. And all 6 of my tooths thank you in unison again. Big Al :)

I've never had a more comfortable experience with a dental practice. I relocated to Indianapolis for work and visited Edgewood Family Dental to see about getting invisalign. Dr. Stevens and her entire staff were very knowledgeable and took the time to discuss the pros and cons of invisalign vs smile dorect club vs traditional braces. In the end I decided to go with them for Invisalign and i'm happy I did. The staff is always friendly and fun. I am glad to have them as my dental home and as long as i'm in Indianapolis this is where I'll be getting my dental needs addressed.

What can I say?! This dental office exceeded my expectations in every way. I was a nervous wreck about my visit and they were all so wonderful and caring. Jamie (one of the hygienist) took her time and made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I have a major phobia of dentists and everything that comes with them. Kristin(the actual dentist) made me feel so comfortable and like i had known her for years. She set up a wonderful dental plan that was affordable too. I actually left this office feeling happy and excited for my future oral health. They even sent me out the door with tissue wrapped fresh flowers. Karie the front desk gal’ was the icing on the cake. She was so helpful and friendly. I cannot say enough about this place.... I could literally go on and on. I have never left the dentist with a smile on my face and hope in my heart. Wow! Run, don't walk to this practice. I have been searching for 4 years for a competent dentist/team since my long term dentist retired. No one wants to listen to what the actual patient wants anymore but this practice does! No one wants to deal with dental issues but if you want to keep your teeth, you have to. I am actually excited to get quite a bit of work done at this practice. They are very thorough and I was shocked at how cost effective it is. That certainly isn't the case too many places anymore. Just check these guys out. I doubt seriously if you will have any complaints. Thank you!

Have avoided going to the dentist in a couple of years due to dental anxiety and a previous bad experience at another dentist. After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to make an appointment here, which ended with a wisdom tooth removal. My anxiety was through the roof and the entire staff from the front desk to the dentist were so kind and comforting. The dentist and her staff put me at complete ease. I had the tooth removed with zero pain, as promised. I will be making appointments for my other family members, and will be returning myself in the near future for some other work. Highly recommend!

That being said, I was very nervous about finding a dentist that I could trust and want to go to in a new city as much as my first one. Luckily, I found that here!
