It is hard to put into words how amazing Dr. Marckese-Braun and her staff are. The environment does not feel like a "dentist's" office at all -- very calm and relaxing. The perks (hand/foot massage, tv w/ headphones, paraffin hand wax, refreshments ... all FREE, I might add) were very helpful my first visit in calming my nerves. I hadn't been to a dentist since I had moved to the area, so I knew I needed quite a bit of work. My treatment plan was explained to me.... but most reassuring of all, Dr. Marckese-Braun didn't make me feel bad, guilty, or embarrassed about needing the work done. They have always been great fitting me into open slots when I needed to get in for something (I'm a teacher and finding appointments after school hours has always been an issue). The staff is funny, witty, and pleasant to be around. I truly look forward to going to Dental Spa!

Dr Marckese-Braun is amazing and the entire staff are very professional and a fun group to be around while waiting and while getting your teeth worked on. From when you walk in until the time you walk out, there are plenty of amenities that are offered to make your time enjoyable. The spa services offered and being able to watch tv while you are getting your teeth worked on are what make this dentist office like no other. Such a group of individuals to be around, and very friendly. I would recommend anybody to experience this for themselves, it truly a one of a kind dentist office around.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Amy and her amazing staff! When I made my first appointment with DentalSpa I was in pretty bad shape. I have always had a paralyzing fear of the dentist and had not been for a cleaning in at least 10 years and I'm only in my 30's! Gross, I know! But when you are afraid and keep having terrible experiences you avoid! We all do it....but I will NEVER do that again! Day one they took the time to get to know me...what are my issues? What scares me about the dentist and how could they help me with those fears?, etc.....Since that very first appointment, Dr. Amy and the wonderful ladies around her (Kasey, Dawn, Michelle, Angela, Amanda...just to name a few) have made me feel at ease and never embarrassed. I feel like I'm at "Cheers" when I walk in because they all know my name and they just make me feel right at home! The atmosphere is truly that of a spa....from the comfy dental chairs (with blankets under you and over you), the wonderful calming smells and Angela's amazing paraffin hand treatments and foot massages! I have truly found the best Dentist in Indy! She has helped me in so many ways by just correcting my smile and I will be forever grateful! And I'm actually looking forward to my next cleaning! :)

Oh Dental Spa, where do I even begin!? After a really poor dental experience (with a different dentist) when I first moved to Indianapolis to what now feels like a fateful meeting of Amy and Team, I began entrusting my smile to the Dental Spa team in 2007. They have been honest, thoughtful, witty and just a ray of sunshine for what can sometimes be thought of as a "dreaded dental appointment." I've never once felt this way (even getting a root canal) and always look forward to having the chance to visit them, get a good little hand massage, a shake after a treatment and feeling like a special part of their business. I came to Indy Dental Spa as a high-anxiety dental patient searching for a more comfortable dental experience. I scheduled an appointment to have some restorative work done, and I'll admit I was very nervous about what to expect. Now that my appointment is over I can't believe I was ever worried! Dr. Marckese-Braun and her dental team do fantastic work that is fast yet gentle. They responded to every twitch of my eyebrow by asking if I was in pain or feeling discomfort; they were very effective at making sure I was completely numb and could feel no pain whatsoever. When the procedure was all finished, I couldn't believe how easy and relaxing the whole experience was - I just wanted to give Dr. Marckese a hug! On top of that, the expanded duties assistant worked diligently to give me perfect fillings. As a perfectionist myself, I really appreciate her attention to detail. The environment at Indy Dental Spa is very warm and relaxing, and the staff is so easy to talk to. When I left my appointment I felt like I had just spent a couple hours chatting with my girlfriends rather than at the dentist! I would recommend Dr. Marckese and Indy Dental Spa to ANYONE! I am definitely a patient for life!

I've been going to Dental Spa for many years, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. The "spa" part of the name isn't important to me - I don't personally go there to be pampered (although being able to watch ESPN while getting my teeth cleaning is definitely a perk.) I go to Dental Spa because every single person who works there is extremely pleasant, friendly, and professional. They are prompt, run on time, ask great questions, and provide honest tactful advice. It costs me about 2-3% more to go here than it would some other places, and it's worth every single penny.

I am freakishly sensitive to teeth cleaning and scraping. This is the first place that actually listens to me when I say that cleaning my teeth is the most painful thing I can do, even over kidney stones! They have been very kind and understanding and have used every precaution available to make me more comfortable. The quackery comes full circle, four years later: This office removed an old filling they told me didn't look good any more, filed my tooth short, then re-filled the filling, and now there is a cavity *underneath* this office's filling for what my new dentist refers to as a "defective filling." Bonus: a few years ago I also had a root canal to fix an issue with the other cavity this office treated. Think twice about having any work done here beyond a typical cleaning and x-rays.

I have been going to the dental spa since 2015. This place is amazing! The dental spa not only offers amazing dental services but they now offer Botox and Juvéderm as well! Love is almost not good enough to express how much I enjoy going to the Dental Spa. I had a long gap in visiting the dentist after high school and my experiences when I returned were not great... until Dr. Marckese that is. The waiting area put me at ease immediately- it is comfortable and warm- the offer you snacks and drinks. Then getting either a foot or hand massage and the wax treatment and a blanket and headphones to watch tv- it's nice to have so many distractions when dental work can make you anxious... the staff are so kind and caring and they really remember you when you come back- they make you feel like family- and if you need a filling they give you a smoothie afterwards! I recommend them to anyone- especially those uncomfortable at the dentist- and it isn't any more expensive than a regular dentist- just more fun!

Very disappointed with this office. My wife went in a few months ago and was very up front with them about what their services would cost (given the Spa portion we were very concerned about cost). We gave them our insurance and they gave us an estimate, which we paid in full on the spot. Months later we get a bill that's 3 times larger then the estimate they had given us. Upon further discussion they disclosed that they never ran our insurance and the estimate was just a guess based on other companies averages. I called my insurance company and they said the office could have ran it through and gotten exact coverages to provide an accurate estimate. In talking with the office manager she continues to insist that their prices are within normal ranges for our area, but when I compared to another office they were 20% higher. Save yourself the headache and financial uncertainty and go somewhere else. It's not worth it.

She's an incredibly talented and professional dentist and even though, like most of us, I'd usually rather be anywhere else than in the dentists chair Amy and her staff make my visits comfortable and worry free. This week I went to Dr. Amy, sobbing, in SO much pain from a dry socket from my wisdom tooth surgery. I contacted my oral surgery center and my pain was dismissed. By the time I got to Dental Spa (about 20 minutes after I called for an appointment, by the way), I was hysterical. It hurt so. frickin. bad. By the time I left Dental Spa, I was okay, and a couple hours later I almost cried from happiness on the phone while talking to Dr. Amy when she checked in with me... I felt good for the first time in days. She fixed me up so well, had me feeling like a human, and her and her staff treated me with the utmost care and respect. She truly cares about her patients. I’ve been to a couple places in Indy and none compare. The foot messages will get you in, but the patient care will definitely make you stay.
