Very friendly staff. On two separate occasions, I have called for an emergency. The first time, I had no pain - they got me in the next day. This last time, they got me in within two hours. REMARKABLE! I called at 7 AM thinking I would get VM, but NO! Dr Goris actually answered the phone. Told him my issue, he asked if 8:30 was good, I showed up, problem solved. That is A-1, First Class, 5-STAR, however you want to say it, #1 in customer service. I live on the other side of Greenwood and was thinking about changing Dentist, just for convenience. But really, I think I can drive that far a couple times a year for my regular visits - no problem, especially when treated like royalty.

Dr. Goris is the best!!! They do perfect dental work. No better dentist around and I've been to several in central Indiana. No hidden charges and they answer all questions. You wont regret changing your current dentist to the best! Update- He's still the best dentist and has the best staff. Especially the receptionist. Makes waiting the few minutes more enjoyable.

Posting this review immediately after getting off the phone with Dr. Goris. After sending a message that we were canceling an appointment I received a call from him. We got a text message saying "Looking forward to seeing you for your appointment." We had not confirmed this appointment, and responded immediately with cancellation. We had made the decision to cancel ALL appointments at this office after being charged $75 for a missed appointment (which was communicated we would miss), being constantly hounded to "fill in" appointments when they had open scheduling, and having appointments confirmed that we did not confirm. At no point did we ever agree to or were presented with these missed appointment charges until they showed up on our bill. It should be noted that the way they confirm appointments is via text message and email. Even if you don't respond to the emails and text messages, they still confirm the appointment. And if you miss: $75. (Scam??) The phone call with Dr. Goris was one of the most unprofessional I have ever experienced. After explaining that we were canceling and going to a different office, I was told that this was "really crappy and frankly patients like you aren't welcome here and you should find a different office." Instead of trying to work with us on removing these charges he chose to berate me on the phone. With the amount of offices available to us, having an office that will charge nearly $100 for missing an appointment (that was never confirmed!!) is ridiculous. Don't go here unless you want to pay through the nose on charges and fees.

Dr Goris and his staff were okay, but the problem I had, and the reason I will not return is because they made a mistake in my billing to the tune of 900+ dollars. The work I was quoted on (partial and a bridge) nearly doubled in price, and if I had accurate information beforehand, I might have chosen to go implant. but since the bridge was already in by the time they found the error, I didn't get to make an accurate choice. When I complained about their error, they said they would see what they could do. They never did anything. They did do the work, and I am happy with it, But cannotrecommend due to the severity of this error. And the lack of follow through for doing anything about it. Six months later: First of all, I want to let you know after I posted the review Dr Goris contacted me and tried to see if there was anything he could do to fix the billing. It didn't happen, but I give him credit for trying. A few weeks ago I started having some tooth pain, and since I hadn't switched my insurance to another provider and he did try to see if there was a way to fix the billing, I went back to Dr Goris. I ended up with root canal and a new cap. No problems with the billing this time and Dr Goris was great. Improving my review to three stars.

I only gave one star because I could not give negative stars! I had been a patient of Dr. Goris for approximately 2 years, in that time he placed an implant that should NEVER have been placed (insufficient bone) that ended up in my sinus cavity, requiring much pain and suffering to get removed. Of the 3 crowns he did for me, one needed replacing after18 months because of decay underneath. Another crown that he tried to repair, not once, not twice, but three times, must now be extracted!!! The third crown did not fit properly from the start, so he did replace that one, but low and behold, it did not fit right the second time, so he put porcelain over it which is now crumbling and it will just be a matter of time before I am forced to replace that one also!!! Excluding the implant, I have paid Dr. Goris $2,512.00 for work on the three teeth that guess what folks, my insurance won't cover again because it has not been 5 years, it has been a mere 2 years...Hard earned money down the drain!!! If anyone is wondering if Dr. Goris made right on any of this you are sadly mistaken, he does not stand behind his work!!! Patient beware!!!

Went for a cleaning and an evaluation for an extremely painful tooth. Dr Goris decided to ignore my needs and performed removal of old fillings, (needed but not urgent). Two crowns, multiple new fillings upper and lower, $3000.00. Pain not resolved told to give it time. New crowns placed still complaint of the pain. Said temporary crowns may have been not in correctly. Give it time come back if neccneces. Two weeks pst pain is excruciating. Sent to have a root canal. Should have been sent first before all this extra work was done. I feel this is just a money oriented busnbusi with a huge lack of compassion for the patient. I would not recommend and am considering contacting the state board.

Great dentist and staff. I have never had an issue getting an appointment, sometimes on very short notice. The staff is wonderful. They are very efficient and professional. I have never had any issues with the quality of work on my teeth. My father was a dentist for 40 years and I worked many summers for him. I was very picky in who I let take over for him. This dentist is top notch. Don't know what Karyn's real issue is with Dr. Goris but her post has appeared every 3 to 6 months for the last two years. ENOUGH.

I can't even begin to describe how amazing Dr. Goris and his staff are. Everyone in the office is so friendly and they do everything in their power to make sure that you're appointment goes smoothly and that you are at ease. When I had my first appointment with Dr. Goris, my teeth and gums were in pretty bad shape. Not only that, but, like everyone else, I had an irrational fear of being at the dentist. With that being said, during that first appointment Dr. Goris and his dental assistants really took my worries and anxiety to heart and made sure to work through any doubts or fears I was having before they even opened my mouth (and they still do to this day!). Their attentiveness and just overall sense of caring is what had lead me to overcome my fear of the dentist. And plus, my teeth and gums are so much more healthy! Now, dare I say it, I am willingly coming in for my regular cleanings (which is a BIG step for me). Not only that, but I have also agreed to let Dr. Goris fill in cavaties on the same day of my appointment, and that's definitely something that I would have never agreed to in the past. Bottom line is: I always know that I'll be in good hands with Dr. Goris and his staff, and you will be too.

Obviously this is an alias because I don’t feel comfortable having Dr Gorris respond to this review with my personal history, doesn’t that violent patient doctor confidentiality? The fact that this dentist responds to negative reviews in a condescending and confrontational matter should speak volumes on it’s own, nonetheless with personal matters that should be kept private. Anyways, I went here some time ago and the experience has still left a bad taste in my mouth (lol). The office was very nice and fancy, probably fancier than any dentists office I’ve ever been to in my life and they brought me into a conference room to sign some papers. I felt like I was making a business deal, which I figured afterwards was exactly what was going on. I did my exam and I will say that Dr Gorris and his staff are kind people but not the people I would trust with my money. They seemed very adamant to get me to get procedures done as soon as possible and wanted me to sign unnecessary paperwork about payments and insurance that seemed pretty scam-y. I’ve been to enough dentists in my time to know which ones actually care about their patient and ones just see them as bags of money. I politely refused to get any work done and they seemed very upset and adamant that I change my mind, which was a bit unprofessional. I have a right to decide what to spend my money on and where to spend it at. They were visibly upset and frustrated at my decision. I decided to visit another dentist and immediately I knew I made the right decision on not trusting Beautiful Smiles practices, because these other people were warm and didn’t try to rush me to sign things or spend money. Plus my teeth weren’t as bad as what Dr Gorris made them out to be. And he will say that it’s his professional opinion and he’s been to dentistry school blah blah blah, whatever. You can tell by his office that they’ve made plenty of money ripping people off and I’m sure of it. They also tried calling numerous times afterwards like beggars. I warn everyone I know about this place.

-5 is my real rating for this place. i had been going here for years and all of a sudden after a routine cleaning and check up i was informed i had 3 caveties hidden between my teeth. we went through everything and went over the xray twice. but something didn't seem right. so i got a second opinion and got a clean bill of health with no issues from choice dental and was informed i had some of the best teeth they had ever seen. I don't know if they had lost some customers and needed the money. but they were going to drill into my teeth and charge me bunch of money for no reason other than greed. i will not be returning....

I had a lot of old dental work on my upper teeth, a partial, fillings, and crowns, probably 30-40 years old. I had been having problems over the past few years and went to see Dr. Goris who suggested we start replacing. I decided I wanted the uppers done all at one time, I knew it would be painful but just wanted to get it done and over with. It was a lot of work for Dr. Goris and his staff, they were so attentive, I had no pain during the procedure, and no pain during recovery! I couldn't believe it, after hours of removing old crowns and dental work I only needed Advil, amazing! My new teeth are beautiful, the lab did such a great job.
