Following a chipped - broken - tooth, I had to visit a dentist. This would be my first dentist visit in 10 to 15 years. They were wonderful! Not judgemental, nor condescending, and not even painful! The 3 people (dentist, dental hygienist & ‘nurse?’) that I directly dealt with, were patient, careful, kind and gentle! Silver Lake Family Dental was so exceptional that I immediately booked my next exam for 6 months in the future. And I recommend them right away to my wife (who also hasn’t been in many moons). A family member had not had dental care due to a quite reasonable fear of pain, based on some very bad experiences with other dentists. OMG! Dr. John is so remarkable! My son broke his tooth over the weekend. Silver Lake Family provided my son an appointment right away. I received outstanding service from Dr. Smith at Silver Lake Family Dental. My front tow teeth had many cracks in them and my receeding gums were starting to cause trouble. Dr. Smith evaluates his patients like they were his own family members. He is the doctor who listens to you, tells you what he suggests you address first, and allows you to be the decision maker when selecting your care. There is no unnecessary treatments done under his direction. He doesn't push services. He is an artist and did beautiful cosmetic denstisty on my front two teeth and I can't stop looking at them. My teeth feel great. No pain ! Oustanding work. I will come back in a few months fo finish up a few more teeh. Than one more crown . Than , I am done.

I will not be returning due to the fact of the front desk clerk. Because of a scheduling error on her part... She was extremely unhelpful and raised her voice to me on two accounts, as well as while talking to a very helpful desk clerk proceeded to stair at me with her arms folded and say ignorant things to me every so often. The double scheduling over my appointment so I couldn’t get the necessary work done and the lack of verifying my insurance was and would have been no big deal if handled properly. The service was extremely unprofessional and the hole encounter made me feel very uncomfortable. There was no help to resolve there mistakes as well as insurance issues that they made very unclear, they scheduled (me) a new patient on a Saturday when they can’t verify the insurance as well as three attempt by myself to give the information before I arrived so that If there was an issue it should have been found out before I arrived for my appointment. I stayed very polite through the whole encounter as I understand mistakes are made and that’s my personality it to try to be helpful and eradicate the situation instead of create more problems. I was very appreciative of the other employees that worked there, I would have liked to have had there practice become our families dentist but due to the actions of one employee, they have lost the business of several people. Thank you for your time and I hope other patients do not have the experience I went through with the costumer service your nurse/receptionist provided.

Then I found Silver Lake Family Dental and made an appointment. The faculty and doctor John were very thorough and friendly. They put my dental experience at ease and made it a great experience. This was more than just a routine visit. I did not wait longer then 10 minutes and the employees are outstanding. Cindy went above and beyond what a normal cleaning consists of and I will never let anybody other than Dr. Emily Karamagianis work on my teeth. She has the most gentle touch and cares about her patients. Best ever!!! Had an emergency today on March 19, 2019 and Dr. Emily Karamagianis saw me right away. From the time you arrive until the time you leave the staff takes the time to put you at ease and treat you like you're one of the family. I'm one of Dr Joe's longtime patients. My grandkids see Dr John and love going to the dentist! Dr Joe was not happy with 2 new crowns the lab made for me. He asked if I could be patient and wait until he was satisfied with them.
