This was my first time at this location. The dental hygienist was great and did her work well. Sadly I'm well accustomed to dentist and have had extensive dental work over the years. Building a rapport with staff is important. Dr. K came in the room didn't even shake hands or introduce himself, but was quick to know that I had a background in the medical field. Lack of initial encounter empathy / professionalism weighs alot in my opinion. He was quick and sharp on the assessment of the situation but was lacking the common sense to have a conversation about options etc. I will not be continuing my care at this facility in the future unless another doctor can show me compassion otherwise.

I was called by my first name by a woman who then escorted me to an exam room. She failed to confirm my identity and didn’t ask for my surname until she had begun her initial examination at which time she realized she had the wrong patient. Kim, the hygienist I typically see, intervened, apologized for the mistake and provided excellent care, as she always has. Five stars for Kim.

I waited maybe two minutes before I was called back by my dental hygentist (super fast)!. She was very pleasant. She was thorough, and helpful regarding a new electric toothbrush I just started using. Highly recommend her ( not sure her name). The dentist was thorough in his check, suggesting a possible bridge/implant in the future on an old bridge. He stayed with me to answer a few questions about this. Good work!

I can’t say that a visit to the dentist is “fun” but they are always prompt and professional. I have had the same hygienist for several years now and she is great. The doctor is always friendly and quickly checks my teeth and advises me on their condition and care. (Aside: I have a history of very few dental problems so my checkups center on cleaning and diagnostic tests like xrays and gum condition).

I am very pleased with how I was treated The staff was very knowledgeable and kind with the procedures they performed. Explained what they were going to do and why. I was given several options to chose from and explained to me what each one was. I was able to make a very informed decision. We agreed together that it was the best one for me. After agreeing, the process moved quickly. I wanted my 2 FRONT TEETH by Christmas and I shall have them. Can't wait. My daughter recommended this office to me and I am glad she did. I know several people that have had dental work done by this office that were very pleased and also recommended them to me. If I move to Peoria, I will continue with this office. I have had unpleasant experiences with other dentists and did not go back. I shall return to this office. Thank you for taking excellent care of me.

Went ten years without seeing a dentist before coming here. I didn't feel judged or shamed for the poor state of my teeth. They simply set up a plan and have been great though out the entire process. After a couple visits my mouth pain was completely gone. 3 years in and I couldn't be happier with my teeth. I will even be starting my toddler on a schedule here as soon as he is old enough. The staff and dentists have always been extremely pleasant and helpful.

I had xrays 6 months ago at marcin dental and was told my tooth needed capped. I just returned and was told they had no record of my visit nor my xrays. They took more xrays and then dentist told me I need a root Canal and needed to go orthodontal surgeon. Dentist this visit did not even look in my mouth. Needless to say I am going elsewhere.

This place has been slowly going down hill the last couple of years. They have really long wait times and always seem to have scheduling issues. The dentists and hygienists seem good to average, but there are just as good, if not better, dentists in the area that are probably going to be more organized than this place.

I felt like I was only being seen if I had insurance. I went for a consult and dr McKone even said that we would need to do the procedure to maximize the insurance money. Once I told him I did not have insurance he seemed agitated. And the decision went downhill from there to the point where he walked out of the examine room. I will not go back there again.

Dr. Mckone is a vile man and a terrible dentist, better go to Mexico than see him...he only wants to fill his pockets for his sports cars and yatch. I had a friend who saw him for years and had pain and he kept telling her she was grinding her teeth...turned out she had been living with infected teeth for years and had sinus problems and ear aches. I too have had problems everytime he has touched my mouth and always end up seeing the specialist in pain. His friendly staff and insurance is why I have always seen him, but enough is enough. Someone should file a complaint against this man especially if he has hurt you.
