I have been going to Dr. Garpetti for countless years. Before him, I had painful, long-term TMJ, but no family doctor or dentist could figure out how to fix it. Dr. Garpetti immediately knew what to do, and I've never had a problem since. Last year he was able to reconstruct and save a dying tooth of mine so it wouldn't have to be pulled. They provide insurance within their office, so I never have to purchase dental insurance anywhere else. Seriously, this is the best office, dentist, and set-up ever. There's no reason to ever go anywhere else.

Like most things in life, it’s not hard to find a dentist that meets your needs and gets the job done. It’s far more difficult though to find one that delivers an exceptional experience with every visit. After trying a few dentists, I visited Dr. Garpetti at Lifesmiles and I’m glad I did. He and the entire team do an incredible job and have exceeded my expectations from the first visit. The office does a great job with people of all ages. My kids actually look forward to going to the dentist because Lifesmiles makes it fun. My grandmother in her late 80’s is now a patient and Lifesmiles is great at caring for the elderly too. What I appreciate most is that they only offer what is needed. Early on, I was struggling with an occlusion and breaking teeth. Instead of placing more crowns, Dr. Garpetti took the time to figure it out, recommended a series of adjustments, and the issue has been solved ever since. The staff does a fantastic job with routine checkups too. If you are looking for a dentist office with a relaxed and personal atmosphere, this is it. Both Dr. Garpetti and Dr. Elliot do a great job. I lived near this office when I first started going and have since moved across town. It’s well worth the drive.

Yesterday Dr Dennis Garpetti came back to his office after hours to help me solve an anatomical problem. My uvula was much too long and often got infected. This is called uvulitis and it is very uncomfortable. When it was swollen and infected a couple of weeks ago, I reached out to an oral surgeon friend, Jeremy Hixson to see if he would resect it. He said that he would, but recommended waiting until it wasn’t inflamed, swollen, and the antibiotics had a chance to kick in. Then my outstanding territory rep, Chris Archer was in my office and reminded me about Dr Dennis Garpetti’s new CO2 Solea laser. I reached out to Dennis and he said he would love to help. Dennis got me numb and comfortable with some gargle and local anesthetic and then with no pain whatsoever, used his Solea laser to trim my uvula to an appropriate size. Chris Archer was a great assistant. My experience was incredible. 18mm trimmed off, no pain, no bleeding as the laser cauterized as it cut, and today I have only had very mild healing discomfort. I took some ibuprofen this morning and that has been it. Several meals later and still no issues. I can’t say enough about good about Dr Garpetti. I appreciate his abilities, skill, and willingness to try a new use for his incredible technology. I admire him being an early adopter and getting a Solea. I certainly have laser envy now. Big thanks to Dr Garpetti and Chris Archer. Thanks Jorden Backman for introducing the technology to Dr Garpetti and other dentists here in Boise like myself. I’m more than intrigued, I’m a Solea fan.

These guys are awesome. The only dentist that my kids will see in town is Dr. Hyder. They never even notice their injections with how he will keep the syringe completely out of their site. I can not say enough about how much I LOVE Dr Garpetti and his team at Life Smiles Dental. I have serious anxiety about coming to the dentist~ Nitrous Oxide just to get a teeth cleaning~ and from day 1 the staff at Life Smiles has always made me feel super comfortable with whatever procedure and more importantly they don't make me feel silly for being so anxious.
