Everyone in the office is great with small children, and the fact that my kids are excited for their appointments is a testament to this. This office is definitely the best kid’s dentist in town! Super nice staff, fun atmosphere, toys and a “treehouse” where the kids can play, and no weird “medical office” smells. The bright light screens and TV above the chairs help keep my kids entertained and focused on something else. Both Dr. Smith and Dr. Marlow are great with my kids and everybody at the office tries hard to make what could be scary for my little ones into a wonderful experience!

My boys love going to the dentist! In fact, they always ask me "mom when is our next dentist appointment?" Everyone is very friendly which creates a comfortable environment. The doctors know the kids well and always ask them questions about their interests and hobbies. This makes my boys feel special. The treatment is gentle and before we know it, all work is done without any tears. I wish I had this experience as a child – I hated going to the dentist and still don’t like it. For this reason I researched the pediatric dentists in our area to make sure my children grow up with the best experience possible. My son (4) is high anxiety and had done dental work that needed to be done so our family dentist referred him and my other daughter to Dr. Smith. We were worried how it would go but were very pleasantly surprised. Dr. Smith and the entire staff there know what they are doing. Not only do they put the children at ease but the parents as well. We have had 1 child do the sedation and then my younger daughter had to go to the surgical center and both times I was very happy with the way things went. I feel like all of the staff is very well trained and they are good at what they do. It is hard to have a child in the chair squirming all over but they handle it so well. Highly recommend!

We love Dr. Marlowe and Dr. Smith and all their staff!! I have four children, ages 3-10. The waiting room is fun and the kids are never bored. They get to watch a movie during their appointment with headphones so it's not loud or obnoxious for parents or staff. Everyone is so nice and never pushy or rude at all. They are very understanding and encouraging, and extremely knowledgeable. We first met the doctors because my now 9 year old, then 18 month old, had a mouth accident and Dr. Smith was the ER on call DDS. He was amazing, and so calming for both mother and daughter! Dr. Marlowe was the one who performed the surgery and he was amazing as well. I will never ever go anywhere else!!

Alligator Pediatric far exceeds any of my highest expectations! My kids are so excited when they get to go for visits! We have tried other dentists closer to us and were very disappointed at their work and the atmosphere, so we choose to travel 4 1/2 hours to the dentist each time and it is WELL WORTH the drive!!

My 11 yr old daughter was quite scared for her first few visits with Dr. Randy, but it took no time at all for her to realize that there was absolutely nothing to be afraid of. She was scared because her previous experiences with a dentist were not good ones. They ended up very painful. They did not have happy gas, for her many teeth extractions. They were not set up for adults to be given "happy gas", let alone children. Dr. Randy & his entire staff saw she was scared, & went out of their way to ease her fears. They went above & beyond to help her cope. I appreciated that so very much. Now my daughter is always happy to go to her appointments. Doctor Smith is amazing. My son was three years of age and refused to open his mouth for anyone. The staff moved at my sons pace and tried to engage and encourage him. Nothing was helping. We decided to have him put under and that way they could work on his teeth. His teeth were in a lot worse shape than what we first expected. Doctor Smith kept me updated during the entire procedure. Now that my son is four he isn't afraid of the dentist because they never forced him to try to do anything he wasn't comfortable doing. Cleaning teeth and fixing cavities is a breeze. The lobby is also very kid friendly with the tree house. The ladies at the front desk are extremely helpful. The dental hygentist make your children feel extremely important. Even the billing department is extremely easy to work with. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends!

I started taking my special needs son to Alligator Pediatric Dentistry when I was referred to them after 4 or 5 failed attempts to fix cavities. Dr. Smith was absolutely amazing! He has fixed my son's teeth twice at the hospital because he doesn't allow anything done in office and all the work looks great. He is always very happy and smiling and does everything he can to make my children and myself included comfortable. He is so amazing with children. I have started taking my 1 year old and recommend them to everyone. From the moment I walked into the office I felt very welcomed and the entire experience is just a pleasurable one. I have sincerely loved this dental office. I have 2 children, 1 of them who hates anything that goes into his mouth. Each time I've been in they don't ever force anything on him in hopes that he will eventually trust them, but they always get a good enough look to know if he has cavities and then take care of them. Such great customer service! I've even gotten a call from the dentist at 9pm just to check on my son after having oral sedation earlier that day. I highly recommend Alligator Pediatric Dentistry.

We absolutely love this office. I have been to many pediatric dentist offices and these guys are by far the best. My kids love it here. They have had many things done including cleanings, tooth extractions, cavities filled, and even a crown put on broken tooth. After each time I have asked my kids, did it hurt? They always say no! They don't even know what goes on when they are getting numb! If you are a Mom with dentist anxiety this is the office for you! They never make you feel bad or guilty that your kids need work done! They just get it done! I wish I could be a patient at Dr. Smith and Dr. Marlowe's office!

We love taking our kids to the Alligator Dentist! Even though some of our kids (6, 4, and 2) are not yet comfortable with all the dental procedures (like flouride treatments, for example), they are always excited to go to the dentist. The staff there have always been very sensitive to our kids feelings and have helped make each experience a positive one. One of our kids has some sensory issues, and they have been really good at accommodating his needs.

Alligator Pediatric Dentistry is amazing. My son has quite a bit of anxiety when it comes to dentists and doctors. We had already seen 2 other dentists before trying out this one. The service we received here was spectacular. They were patient with him and listened to him which greatly helped ease his anxiety. He had to have a follow up appointment for fillings and such. When I told him he had another dentist appointment, he asked if it was at "the alligator dentist." I told him it was and he said, "Oh, good. I like them." We are so happy to have found "the alligator dentist." They do a wonderful job and are great to work with. The staff and nurses are also great. I've recommended them to quite a few people already.

Alligator Pediatric Dentistry is amazing. My son has quite a bit of anxiety when it comes to dentists and doctors. We had already seen 2 other dentists before trying out this one. The service we received here was spectacular. They were patient with him and listened to him which greatly helped ease his anxiety. He had to have a follow up appointment for fillings and such. When I told him he had another dentist appointment, he asked if it was at "the alligator dentist." I told him it was and he said, "Oh, good. I like them." We have been bringing our children to the Alligator Pediatric Center starting when our oldest daughter was 3, (she is now almost 17) She had 16 cavities, she needed 4 crowns, pulpotomies, and root canals. Dr. Smith saw her through it without any traumatic feelings , and she still likes going to their office and now has a mouth full of healthy teeth. I now have 5 children that I take there and it is so funny they all say yeah, we are going to the dentist. I know as a kid I did not ever say Yeah, so to me that is wonderful. My son had an appointment on his birthday one year, and he was happy about it. I don't throw around five stars lightly and without time tested evidence to validate my public opinion. Both of my children have received many varied procedures and regular preventative service over several years and I have personally witnessed and compared to other dentists their superiority. "They" would never say it, that would be unprofessional, but I can, they are the best in southeast Idaho, my wife and I have witnessed and compared many. Also, for what it is worth, they are pretty funny and always cheerful, honest, and genuine. This is the place to bring your kids, even I as a parent feel like I am being treated as a number one priority along with my children. We have had zero problems with quality of care over several years. Can you say that about your personal "adult", general dentist? Enough said there.

My 3 year old originally went to a family dentist but because the enamel on her molars did not form properly, I was told that she would need sedation at the hospital to fix her teeth. Instead, I chose to bring he to Dr. Smith who decided to try to fill the cavities without sedation first. They were so kind and amazing with her and were able to do the procedure in the office saving me thousands and she loved it! I've been taking my children to Alligator Pediatric Dentistry for over 10 years. Both Dr Smith and Dr Marlowe are awesome with kids and all of their staff is friendly and great at putting children at ease. It sounds cliche, but my kids actually LIKE going to the dentist!

We took my 4 year old to a dentist in Blackfoot and were told she needed 2 crowns. My daughter had a hard time at the dentist and the dentist wasn't really understanding of that and didn't try talking to her or anything to get her to like him. We decided we needed to go somewhere else for a second look. We saw Dr Marlowe today. He was awesome! He made my daughter feel comfortable and relaxed. She did much better and I feel better too. He also said she didn't need crowns after all. I am so glad we switched! I felt comfortable with Dr Marlowe and felt like he explained everything perfectly. We will not go anywhere else! It is well worth the 30 min drive. The whole staff is helpful, quick and awesome! The office is fun for the kids and helps them feel comfortable. I would recommend Dr Marlowe to anyone!!!

PS where did you get those head phones she care here the show with them . nice as she is hard of hearing, DR.Mooso and Dr Smith worked together to avoid surgery that was suggested and clearly not necessary. We had the best experience that we have ever had at the dentist. My 3 year old originally went to a family dentist but because the enamel on her molars did not form properly, I was told that she would need sedation at the hospital to fix her teeth. Instead, I chose to bring he to Dr. Smith who decided to try to fill the cavities without sedation first. They were so kind and amazing with her and were able to do the procedure in the office saving me thousands and she loved it! She is so excited to come back that I will be switching all my kids to this office for dental work. Thanks so much for being so amazing!!

I giving them 5 stars because this the BEST Pediatric Dental office you could go too. Dr. Randy Smith is my absolute favorite!! He was my dentist as a kid and now I get to take my own kids to him. He is so kind and gentle with kids and you can tell he has a passion for his job. He makes going to the dentist fun for kids! Dr. Marlowe is great with kids we well. I would recommend them to anyone with kids.

Alligator Pediatric Dental is the best! We went to another office in town before and they wanted to charge us 3-4 thousand to fill my daughter's cavities. Alligator Pediatric dental gave us a second opinion for free and filled them for $250. Every time we have been there we have had a great experience.
