Our three kids have been going to Dr. Sueda since they were toddlers. Currently two of the three are also doing Invisalign with Dr. Sueda as well. We drive early in the morning from the Windward side to Dr. Sueda because his attention to detail, his unique ability to communicate well with the kids and parents and build a relationship with his clients, and proven results in dental care! The office staff are always super friendly, sincere, and attentive. I brought my 7yr old in for a check up. My son is a special needs child. When making the appointment i let the office know his conditions and what his previous experience was. They assured me it would be no problem. I expected my son to be difficult and that the office would have to do what was necessary to help my child. Getting the xrays. He held his head down. And shoved the film into his mouth which caused him to bruise my sons chin. Not once did he try to explain to him what and why he was doing what he was doing. Which is how you would normally be with a special needs child. During the procedure i was able to calm my son and had him focus on music rather then what was going around him. AFTER the procedure he wanted to get up he lifted his head but couldnt move because his hand was still strapped in. Thats when Dr. Sueda forced his head back down and held it down until he unstrapped my sons hand. Which caused him to have a bruise his face. After my daughters check up we went into the area she was in and my son politely said to Dr. Sueda. "Um excuse me Doctor " and that was all he could get out before the doctor asked my daughter a question he had just asked and she answered. It was clear he was annoyed with my son by then. And kept talking so he wouldnt have to hear my son. When he did talk to my son or show him any attention it was to yell at him to never eat candy or sugar again. On Saturday the office called to schedule another appointment for my son. Which was when i brought up that my son had 2 bruises while in the care of Dr.Sueda. When i spoke to Dr. Sueda he said. " well you were in the room and you seen how he was being" i then mentioned to him that if he and his staff wouldnt have been able to handle a high functioning autistic child with adhd and spd then they shouldn't have taken the appointment!!. I would advise any parent whose child is already afraid of going to the dentist to stay away from this office and especially this doctor!!

My toddler tripped and cracked her two front teeth. Other dentists were going to pull the teeth out as there was “not enough tooth structure left” to cap them. We are glad we decided to see Dr. Sueda. He said he doesn’t believe anything is impossible. He put caps on her teeth with no problems.

Me and my family have been seeing Dr. Sueda for more than 15 years now and we've never been disappointed. He is a very professional down to earth local guy who will make you laugh every time. Dr. Sueda will make sure you are leaving the office with a clean set of teeth. His office staff are very professional, accommodating, kind and helpful. They make the effort of getting to know you. My mother was recommended this dentist over a decade ago when I was around five years old or younger. I had a cavity and went to get my tooth extracted, I still remember the experience to this day. Before the extraction, my mother complained that this dentist was a weirdo and kept touching her leg. When the time for my tooth extraction came, my mother was forced to stay outside and I had to go in alone, now I know why. I was extremely scared because I was a child and seeing the kid who was being worked on before me did not help. He was strapped in, screaming, and crying. When the time for my tooth extraction came, the first thing they did was strap me in. Then they put in a tool in my mouth which forced my jaws open which had an awful artificial taste. I felt devastated. I do not remember if they bothered to numb me or even use a gas to help the pain, but I remember the extraction being extremely painful and it was the worst time of my life. Other reviewers also complained about this dentist being disrespectful and cruel towards their children and I agree. This dude was terrible towards the kid before me and to me at the time and it was enough of a bad memory that I remember it to this day after over a decade. He has or had a barbaric method at that time which would definitely not be accepted today. I do not recommend taking your child here. He may ask you to stay outside, but don't. Stay next to your children or you will never know what he does to your kids. Looking at the other reviewers, he never does such a thing to older patients and puts on a fake smile because he knows what he is doing is unacceptable.

Do not take your children here. He doesn't care about their pain, he drugs them with nitrous oxide so he can do things like extractions without novocaine. He's horrible. Just don't.

She was very helpful and friendly she deserves (5 stars) ***** and a raise on her next evaluation. She not only answered all the concerns i had about my son but, she made me feel comfortable and it literally went beyond what i expected. She is just a great person all around thats the fIeeling i get. I was born in 1981 and back growing up the Aloha spirit was everywhere people where always so generous and nowdays it's harder to find that feeling but walking in to Dr. Sueda's office took me back to my years when kindness, generosity and service came out so, naturally. This is by far the best service i got in a very long time. Dr. Sueda is an amazing doctor and person in general! He takes very well care of his patients, even up until their adult years - I should know, I'm 26 and still seeing him; if I could, I'd go to him for the rest of my life :P The rest of the staff are just as amazing. They are so very friendly and try to make you feel as comfortable as possible! They give off a family vibe and that's what I love about them. Dr. Sueda is not only a great doctor, but a great father figure as well. There was never an appointment where I didn't walk out without learning a life lesson. Dr. Sueda was my Pediadontist when I was a child. He was always friendly and conferenced with my parents after the exams. Now that I have my own children, I also take them to see Dr. Sueda too. Dr. Sueda has provided excellent dental care to all three of our children over the past 20 years. They consider him an uncle, not just their dentist, which speaks to the personal attention he gives to each and every one of his patients. From the front office to the back office staff, they have all provided a caring environment for our entire family (parents included). I'd like to give a special shout out to Lina who really knows how to run the business side of a private dental office. Besides being exceptionally competent in her profession, she adds a personal touch and always greets us with a smile and a bit of humor. Dr.Sueda is an amazing pediatric orthodontist! Personally I'd say he's the best. I've been taking my daughter here for about 7 years and had been referred by our pediatrician. I feel completely safe leaving my daughter in his care because I know that he will always have the best interest for the child. He is the upmost genuine and skillful dentist I have come across by far. Sueda is very thorough and explains the procedure and care that was taken after the appt. a definite plus is that he is very friendly with the kids which is very important so that the kids don't fear going to the dentist (which us parents know most kids do.) I’ve been going to Dr Sueda for over 30, (I’m happily surprised he still sees me) and It’s always been a great experience. Whether it was semi-annual checkups or monthly visits for braces, Dr Sueda and his staff have always made me feel comfortable while they cleaned my teeth or changed my braces and made sure I knew how to keep my teeth healthy. It was also very beneficial having one person who knew all about my braces situation and took care of my normal checkups. Dr Sueda and his staff has always cared about my personal story making each appointment a visit to see friends who have always kept my teeth in great condition.
