Our family has been coming to Dr. Muir for over 20 years. We followed him when he moved his practice from Orem to American Fork because he was so good with our kids. They were never afraid to go to the dentist. Dr. Muir is very gentle, careful and detailed. His office staff is incredible. Wendy greets you with a smile, is so personable and is so attentive to detail on your account and bill. His hygienists are always so kind, happy and comfortable to work with. He hires the best people! Dr. Muir won't run up your bill or do work that's not necessary. He's interested in the best outcome for your health. If you're tired of looking for a dentist you'll love, look no further. Dr. Eric Muir is the best.

Had been going here for two years, and have had a fair amount of dental work at his office. After hearing a horror story from my Husbands coworker about a routine procedure leaving her blind we decided to check out another dental office. Our first visit to another dental office revealed that I need a root canal and it had been festering for years. How this office did not detect this with the many xrays they have taken over the last few years is beyond me. They also over billed us and our insurance many times. If you care about your dental health don't go to this practice!

I came into this office under emergency circumstances. I had a cap come off a tooth, and take most of the tooth with it. Originally, after looking at x rays and examining the tooth, we were going to do another crown. After starting the procedure, he determined that there was not enough tooth left to do a crown, and so my tooth needed to be pulled. Under the circumstances, already having started, mouth numb etc. there was not much I could do. I was nervous but went ahead and gave consent to the tooth being pulled. Wish that didn't have to happen, and am a little curious as to why everything looked good on X-rays and exams to move forward with the crown, only to have it end in my tooth getting pulled. Obviously under the circumstances, I couldn't just leave to get a second opinion. I felt that from the beginning, Dr. Muir and the staff were very cold and not friendly. I did not get a good vibe from them, but with a mostly missing tooth I needed to be seen right away, or I would have gone somewhere else. I felt like things were not explained as well as they could have been, and was not given a ton of instructions upon leaving. I asked about how the pain would be after, and he assured me that Ibprofen would be enough. I got home took the Ibprofen, and it did nothing. I was in tears the pain was so bad. So, I called the office to see if I could get some stronger pain meds, and he did give it to me, but was very bugged that I called to get it. I just feel that is very unprofessional. You tell me one thing, end up having to do something completely different, don't send me home with adequate medicine or information, then give me attitude when I call. My husband went to pick up my prescription and agreed that the staff was very cold and unfriendly. I would not recommend this dentist, and will definitely not be going back. I just hope my extraction heals well, and that there are no more problems, so I don't have to worry about dealing with them again.

I love this Dentist. I was previously going to a different Dentist a year or so ago and the said I needed like 6 Root Canals done and its was going to be like $2,000 worth of work. I came here to get a second opinion and they said I didn't even need one Root Canal, just a few cavity fillings. I strongly recommend these guys they are awesome and plus they have a really easy payment plan!

I Love Dr. Muir and his amazing staff! they have always been so good to us. One time a few yrs ago, my husband fell and broke his tooth and loosened his permanent retainer in the middle of the night on a Friday. we were able to get a hold of someone and Dr Muir took time out of his crazy schedule to take care of us on a sat, a day they are typically not open. this office is amazing!!

I always get very nervous before getting work done, but his shots never hurt as much as I expect they will! He is very gentile and careful. I would recommend his office to anyone.
