Dr. Ing and Dr. Hoshino were amazing! I was visiting from Houston, Texas and staying in Ko Olina. Two nights before my wedding I was awakened by terrible molar pain. Dr. Ing graciously agreed to see me as a walk in appointment on a Friday morning and Dr. Hoshino patiently and delicately performed an emergency root canal on my molar. Dental World made my first introduction to a civilian doctor amazing. They have set the bar for any future dentist I ever use. The receptionist was kind and polite, answering any questions I had without any sign of frustration. My dental assistant Erin was amazing. I’ve had previous experiences with other female dentist who were cruel, rough, and inconsiderate. Erin has completely changed my opinion. She consistently checked on me. She asked if I was uncomfortable or if I needed a break. I have very sensitive teeth and none one of these things were a problem. Her efforts on my cleaning were impeccable. My gums are renewed (no bleeding) and my teeth and the cleanest I’ve had in years. I am not paranoid or ashamed to smile anymore. Thank you for all your efforts.

I can honestly say that Doctor Gilbert Ing of Dental World Kapolei is one of the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure (yes, pleasure) of receiving treatment from. He is a consummate professional who conducted a detailed examination of my dental health followed by a meticulous explanation, review and evaluation of my condition. This was followed by recommendations and options for improvement; not a lecture or admonishment. I was impressed by his knowledge, patience, professional comportment and courteous demeanor. My visit was for an Orthodontic Consultation which actually started with receiving a flyer in the mail... I called to make an appointment and staff was very welcoming and accommodating for an after 3pm visit. Not only are they accommodating, they offer text reminders of my appointment. I love that!! I went in a little early to fill out forms like usual for new patient, only 3 pages, well technically 1 page! Love it!! There was no overtime wait, I was seen on time for my appointment... Excellent!! Peggy was pleasant and efficient... Dr. Chaekal was sooo awesome! She was kind, always made eye contact, took her time explaining options and what her plan is should I want to move forward... and Rebecca, EXCELLENT service, she had the financial part to go over and she was amazing!! She offered multiple options and throughout my visit with her, so helpful, so pleasant, and so happily loving what she does... AMAZING!! After all was said and done... Rebecca made me a folder with contact information for herself, Dr. Chaekal and Quinton (Office Manager, who made a point to shake my hand .. again Awesome!!) and copy of what we talked about.. My husband asked that I find him a dentist in Kapolei so he would not have to drive a great distance. I stumbled upon Dental World Kapolei when visiting other patrons in the area. As a walk-in I received a beautiful information package to take to my husband. I showed my husband and he liked what he was reading and asked that I schedule him an appointment. My husband was very impressed with his first visit and every visit thereafter. He was mostly impressed with the high technology this office offers. Then he noticed how attentive everyone in the office was and that he received excellent treatment. He was very impressed and happy. When I too recently transferred to Dr. Ing, I noticed how thorough and polite everyone was. They all smiled and showed great respect when talking to me. They said thank you to one another...even Dr. Ing would say thank you to his assistants when asking them something. This office explains everything they do before they do it so you know exactly what to expect. They take the time to answer all your questions and they are not in a hurry. They are very thorough. The office is new and clean. They are also bringing in other doctors so you do not need to look for one if or when you might need something i.e. root canal, implants, orthodontic work. A++++ While I was not happy to be getting so many cavities worked on, this is a great clinic with great employees. Both my hygienist and dentist were very informative, very knowledgeable and very professional. My dentist (I believe his last name is Liu, but I may be wrong) went through and explained everything in detail to me. He let me know what things I should be addressing now and what things I may have to look at in my future. He even went as far as to recommend I leave my wisdom teeth in contrary to some money hungry dentists who will extract them just to charge you. I felt like I was getting great care and service, highly recommend.

I would like to highly recommend Dental World Kapolei. Dr. Ing put my trust back. After my traumatic experience way back to my past Doctor going to the dentist seem like a nightmare for me. So I ignore all my pain and just take some pain medicine. But this past few weeks it hurt so bad and can't sleep no more. No orajel or pain med works so I went to yelp and look for a dentist, After thorough reading nothing stand out but Dental World Kapolei. I gave them a call and Tatiana answered it she is very accomodating helpful and so friendly she scheduled my appointment, help me understand the proccess. Unfortunately I called back again the following day to reschedule it for earlier and Quinton helped me with that He assured that I can have appointment Monday. Thank you Quinton. So just today I met Dr Ing he is such a very nice person, so calm and he help me understand whats happening to my teeth. Ms Merlyn is so awesome too. She helped Dr. Ing. Both of them assure that everything will be fine and nothing to worry about. Ms Merlyn also gave me sunglasses to avoind the light. They both so professional so kind and warm,make me comfortable during the procedure. Dr. Ing always tell me what he is doing and always check if Im alright at first I was so nervous but eventually I feel so relax. Honestly I almost fell asleep. Dr Ing's hand is so gentle. Ineffable. The experience I had here has far-exceeded any reasonable expectations I had walking in. From the phone call attempting to schedule on the same day to walking out the front door, it was nothing but smiles. The receptionist made every effort to squeeze me in, and succeeded. She was also expedient when it came to greeting me as I walked into the somewhat cramped waiting room (sorry, claustrophobes). Shortly after I filled out the new patient form, I was greeted by my amazing dental hygienist, Sharon. She was beyond personable, informative, and gentle when it came to my teeth and gums. After walking me through the procedures we'd be undertaking, she kindly handed me a pair of sunglasses. Although I was a bit confused as to why I was receiving such an awesome pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses (they're not Ray-Ban), I was lowered back only to realize that their lights were as bright as I would imagine heaven to be. Thanks for looking out for my eyes and teeth, Sharon. You a real one. Sharon did not waste a single moment as I sat in the chair; retrieving Dr. Ing shortly after. Dr. Ing walked through the X-Rays that were taken and explained to me the overall health of my teef. He then established a game plan with me regarding future visits and possible problem areas I should monitor (I like sweets, okay? Don't judge). I should note that as he went through his own examination of my teeth with Sharon documenting, Sharon was able to recount a specific tooth I was requesting to have fillings changed from a dark color to white because it is somewhat visible when I smile; talk about customer service. Simply amazing! In short, if you, too, need your teef to be looked at and taken care of, look no further. P.S. Ask about their MI Paste Plus. It helps to raise your credit score or to rebuild enamel and act as an anticavity layer before bed... one of those; can't really remember. But I got "Tutti-Frutti" as the flavor. Mayjah. See you there! Or not, because Sharon got me with the shades.

This is my husbands 3rd visit and our reviews on this is still in good standing. I'd like to recognize the awesome customer service from Tatiana the medical receptionist & Quintin the office manager. They both are extremely great in what they do. My husband needed some work done and Quintin made sure that we be contacted in a timely manner with our insurance. Tatiana is always so pleasant to speak to and made me comfortable and knowing my husband would be OK without me (for paperwork) The doctors are amazing! So when I went to search for a dentist I mostly checked out the reviews on customer experience & was surprised to see such high star ratings on Dental World. Tbh I was kind of skeptical at first, but after my first visit I’m happy to say that everyone was right!!! Dr. Ing and staff are absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in to when I checked out - everyone I came in contact with was very easy going, friendly and made me feel relaxed. Love how the staff is very professional and kind. There were no lectures or guilt trips about the condition of my teeth. Checking out with Quinton was fast and easy. Feels like you’re chatting up with a friend. Erin, the hygienist did a great thorough job in cleaning my teeth and made me feel at ease. I had 3 appointments in a row that was easy and convenient to schedule. They’re really good at explaining what they’ll be doing before performing each task and always asked how I was doing. One of the appointments I had was a pretty long 1.5 hr. procedure and honestly fell asleep while Dr. Ing and the assistant (sorry didn’t catch your name) were poking, prodding, and drilling all over my mouth. The only thing that was uncomfortable was my jaw and frozen face from the anesthesia. Dr. Ing has a very gentle and soothing demeanor that translates into his work. He’s a total miracle worker and the quality of his work is top notch! Can’t recommend this place enough! As long as it’s Dr. Ing and his wonderful crew I’m no longer hesitant to go to a dentist and that says a lot.

Just had my second visit to this office yesterday and it was just as great as the first. They put on music that I liked while working on my teeth which was so nice. The dr explained every step before and reminded me during what he was doing. I had to have a couple fillings repaired. I also had an old issue with my front tooth repaired. I had been so self conscious for over a year to smile and now I feel like me again! Thank you!!

Wonderful first time experience. As I made my appt with Quentin, he was super helpful. Day of appt, I had Quentin and Tatiana greet me and helped me with new patient forms and insurance. I had Erin cleaned my teeth for me and talked me through everything. I came back for some fillings and I had Dr. Ing do those for me. He was also informative and talked me through everything. They all made sure I was doing ok and took care in what they were doing. Overall, customer service was wonderful! They were knowledgeable and communicative.
