Went to McDonough family dentistry and they told me I needed to get my tooth pulled and that I need to get a bridge and it was going to cost me over 4000. I thought it was crazy that they wanted to send me to an oral surgeon for a simple tooth extraction but I made my appointment anyways. Well as I sat and thought about it I decided that I wanted to get another opinion so went to another dentist and they told me that my tooth could totally be saved and all I needed was a root canal. Will never go back seemed like all they wanted was to make money off me. The only good thing about this place is the staff is very friendly.

I came into the office today as a first time patient and walk in with EXTREME PAIN!!! The entire office from the front desk, dental assistant, to the dentist were amazing, very kind and empathetic. I am definitely going to make this my permanent dental office and refer everyone who will listen... 5 stars isn't enough!

I arrived at 9:25 for a 9:30 appt. I waited 23 minutes before being called in. Justin was excellent and provided great care and recommendations for improving my dental health. Then I waited from 10:18 until 10:36 for the dentist to review my teeth. Care was great. The wait times were excessive!

Absolutely wonderful experience from reception to treatment. Exercised tender care, and made me feel very comfortable. The additional TVs made for comfort helped me relax during my visit. Facilities are superior to any dental office that I have ever been, including the U.S. Army DENTAC facilities around the world. I had my teeth cleaning right after work. I was seen within 5 mins of checking in the front desk staff was friendly. Sheree was an amazing assistant and she was training someone and made me aware and step by step she and the trainee explained what they will do. They both did a great job. My hygienist is Justin he is amazing he always makes you feel so comfortable and he has great energy and he is very friendly even at the end of the day. He talks to you like a friend it didn't feel like a cleaning appointment. Justin is very gentle and he ask if you are okay he gives step by step details about what he will do next. He gives recommendations of things needed to help keep your oral hygiene on point. It's always a pleasure seeing Justin. Once he was done he made me aware he will get Dr.Sethi. When she came in her energy was great even at the end of the day she is so friendly. She as well makes me so comfortable and she treats me like a friend. She did my exam and explained what the best options are for my treatment to enhance my smile and asked me for any concerns that I have. My overall experience was Excellent and the level of service was Amazing!!! I have my pick for Justin and Dr.Sethi for all of my care.

His manner, his caring for the patient and overall personality will make you feel at ease. And please believe me when I say, I have been to many dentists over the years. I went in with a bad molar that had to be removed. These people are great! Due to medical problems they were not able to do it the same day but were able to remove it the next day. The oral surgeon got me taken care of so fast and very reasonably priced. I recommend them to anyone I know. We just moved to the area and hadn’t been set up with a local dentist when my son chipped a tooth while playing in the pool. I called McDonough dentistry and they were able to get us in the next day for a free focused exam. The receptionist was very friendly at check in and the staff treated us very well. The clinic is clean and had a fun atmosphere. My son was examined and xrays were taken before the dentist saw him. Ultimately nothing needed to be done for his tooth but I was relieved to have the confirmation. We will definitely be returning for our routine dental exams.

I am 58 and I know my teeth or lack of teeth are in bad shape every one in this office never made me feel uncomfortable they treated me like family. I was so worried the night before my appointment I could not sleep. But wow my Dr oh she is terrific she examined me and asked me what I wanted her to do she did not dictate to me what had to be done. She was so great to me. She even said you come back in a few hours and I will extract either both teeth or just the 1. Total time i was there less then 1 hour. Then they told me go to lunch be back at 2.30 we were back at 2.15 and right away they called me back and after i went to FINANCIAL they said she can do both teeth today I was so relieved no more pain. She never hurt me once and now today no pain even after 2 teeth were pulled. Wow total time 1 hr and 40 min. Great place Great staff and exceptional Dr Oh. A million Thank You so much. Couldn't be more satisfied... I have been going here for over 7 years. I can only think of one time that I had a problem, and come to find out an employee had called out and they were scrambling to get coverage. Dr. Toub came in the clutch when I a needed an emergency root canal. If you are considering a new dentist, plan to be overwhelmed with the support you need for a great experience.

I would of gave them 5 stars but in my 36 years of living I never been to a dentist for mouth pain from a cavity and then be scheduled for procedure a month later. I was baffled I came to appointment for a cavity that was causing pain and all they did was X-rays and schedule me for another date which isn’t until next month! McDonough family practice you should make slots on your schedule for emergencies and or tell people that your facility don’t do the dental work on your first visit!!!!

This was a horrible visit. I arrived 30 minutes early as I was asked to since I was a new patient. I completed the 4 sheets of paperwork within 5 minutes. I was called to the back approximately 20 minutes later. They took exams and I waited for 40 minutes and no one came to the area I was sitting in. After the xrays were taken it was like I was just there and they had forgotten I was there. The practice doesn’t have any privacy whatsoever. All the rooms are open, not technically rooms just area separated by a side wall. There were dental assistants EVERYWHERE. It was very unorganized and hectic. Too much hustle and bustle for a dental office. It appears they careful more about quantity instead of quality. I ended up leaving without seeing a dentist. Then they had the audacity to ask if I wanted to reschedule!!!

The front desk clerk on the morning of July 8 lacks people skills and personality. My appointment was at 8 I arrived at 750. After 830 and 7-10 patients who came in after me were called in the back. I stood up and noticed only 2 people was sitting in the the waiting room, they had just arrived. I went to the desk asked the clerk why is it people who came in after I was called, she. Looks at her computer and said you are next. I told her I didn't appreciate the way this was handled and I wanted to reschedule she told me the next available weekend was in November. I asked her again how long will it be she as soon as a hygienist is available they would come get me, no apology. I thank the hygienist for changing my thoughts about your facility with her concerns and professionalism.

Very nice establishment. The staff talk to each other too much while performing services. The doctors take WAY too long to come in after being serviced, as if they are on a lunch break or something. Be sure to already have a full understanding of what your insurance provides because they will try to charge you for things your insurance already covers and or not give you ALL the services and benefits your insurance provides. I had my wisdom teeth removed by one of their oral surgeons on a Friday and he actually called me on Saturday (the next day) to check on me. I was baffled I came to appointment for a cavity that was causing pain and all they did was X-rays and schedule me for another date which isn’t until next month! McDonough family practice you should make slots on your schedule for emergencies and or tell people that your facility don’t do the dental work on your first visit!!!!

This was a horrible visit. I arrived 30 minutes early as I was asked to since I was a new patient. I completed the 4 sheets of paperwork within 5 minutes. I was called to the back approximately 20 minutes later. They took exams and I waited for 40 minutes and no one came to the area I was sitting in. After the xrays were taken it was like I was just there and they had forgotten I was there. The practice doesn’t have any privacy whatsoever. All the rooms are open, not technically rooms just area separated by a side wall. There were dental assistants EVERYWHERE. It was very unorganized and hectic. Too much hustle and bustle for a dental office. It appears they careful more about quantity instead of quality. I ended up leaving without seeing a dentist. Then they had the audacity to ask if I wanted to reschedule!!!

Was called to the back to wait for an additional 30 minutes before the 15 minutes cleaning service was rendered. I saw people that came in after me be serviced and leave before me. Finally was told to wait for the patient coordinator. I sat there and finally someone that was not sitting in the wait area was escorted in to patient coordinator ‘s office before me. They did offer me a free one on my next visit if I go back I'm a easy guy that believes in good customer service when paying money never complain much about anything. 3 stars is actually low for this office because, any other time I've been in this office it has been nothing but a good time. Yes! I'm talking about a dentist office. I've had really good conversations, laughs, and customer service with the staff from the receptionists, dental assistants, dentists, to the ladies that discussed all my future dental costs. Until yesterday when I was there for an appointment with my daughter and my daughter's grandma and the receptionist was so rude, aggressive and her tone was nasty as ever. After addressing her about it she refuses to help and storms out to get the office manager, only to lie to the office manager and suggest that we asked for the manager. Now, this one off is not going to discourage me from visiting the office but it sure has effect their ratings.

Arrived 20 minutes early. Waited in the lobby for 45 minutes passed my appointment time. Was called to the back to wait for an additional 30 minutes before the 15 minutes cleaning service was rendered. I saw people that came in after me be serviced and leave before me. Finally was told to wait for the patient coordinator. I sat there and finally someone that was not sitting in the wait area was escorted in to patient coordinator ‘s office before me. Lately, the planning is off. I don’t want to spend two, almost 3 hours for a 15 minute service.

Really friendly place. I got in and out in a fairly reasonable time for a new patient. The staff took the time to answer my questions with sincerity. My only concern was the thought I was getting extra work requested of me that wasn't needed. My previous dentist (retired) never had issue with some of what was brought up. Definitely going back to develop a better opinion and hopefully a new dentist office. It is a huge office when compared to the setting I'm use too. Felt like we were cattle but that fades once you're in the chair and talking w/ staff

I like this place much better than my previous dentist office. I’ve had trouble with the staff/ computer automatically canceling appointments. This was 3 times in a row, after I confirmed the appt text. I heard other patients complaining about it as well. It hasn’t happened my last several appts so hopefully this is fixed. I considered leaving if it continued. Dr. Barnett is my dentist and she is fabulous. She has great attention to detail and I feel she does to me what she’d want done to her.
