No way NEVER AGAIN. They over heated my tooth in the process of prepping it for a crown. Took almost 9 months for it to stop aching. MORESO, Every visit is an exercise in patience with their sales tactics. They will get you in the chair for a cleaning then tell you they won't do it unless you spend X dollars on some other treatment that isn't necessary. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the best experience ever. I needed my wisdom teeth removed and could not afford it. To help me save money they asked if I would be willing to be awake during the operation. I was very hesitant and very scared, but it was smooth and actually enjoyable. The girls and the dentist talked and made me laugh to help distract me from the operation. They were done within 20 minutes, they made sure I was not in any pain, and they made the experience enjoyable. This crew is awesome and I highly recommend them. Ashley works the front desk and is in the billing department and she helped me with saving money and getting me in on a last minute notice to make sure that I did not suffer any longer from the pain. I will say there are some organization issues with one of the front clerks, but all of the rest are very organized and they always follow up as they promise.

i went to them 2 weeks ago and had no cavities was told that i needed my filling fixed after having my fillings fixed i have had nothing but problems the dentist numbed me to the point it took 6 hrs to wear off then after wearing off i realize that the tooth he fixed was too long and in not realizing this because of being numb it damaged my lower tooth below i call and go to have them fix it after they fix it i try too eat and have the most horrible pain so had to call again make another trip they took more of the tooth off never x ray for damages after leaving again tried to eat same pain in top and bottom an was told by the lady hygienist it may take a month to stop hurting !!!!! really people !!!!! i should not be filling pain i am now trying to find another dentist because they don't want to fix their mistakes don't go to this dentist office

Horrible! The front desk Manager has a very nasty attitude.If you question the charges you are being billed, prepare to get yelled at by the front desk Manager. They will bill you for work that you have not yet received.I'm in the process of complaining with the board of dentistry.

This is by far the best dentist I have EVER been to. They were so kind, and I can never thank them enough for caring for me, not only as a dentist/patient, but human to human. And not just the dentist..the hygienist, and the woman at the front desk . I was stressed, and hurting so badly, and they all took such good care of me. They all sat with me & held my hand, and cried with me when I needed to. I felt more comfortable than I ever have, at any appt, ever. I will never go anywhere else. They have my heart. Thanks so much to you, Canton Smiles...you have restored my faith in humanity.

Just terrible! They do not respect your time. I have NEVER had a visit under 2 hours. I also made the mistake of letting them handle my crown. The permanent crown came off in under 2 months. I have had it replace by them 4 times now and has never stayed on. The 4th permanent crown came off again around a month ago, and I just don't trust that they can do the job right. I guess I am just out of that money. You pay top $ you expect the job to be done correctly. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere! Update:. Over 2 years now. I have contacted corporate and the store asking for refund or to make it right. I cannot event receive a response.

Please do not go to this dentist. They advertise a special of $59, but have no intentions of honoring. It is a total bait and switch. You arrive and the first thing they do is take all of your X-rays. Then the waiting begins up to an hour and a half, before they tell you they must do major work on your mouth and it must be done that day. If you do not agree then you owe them hundreds for the X-rays. In other words they have tricked you. They want you to buy their insurance to save money, plus make you wait hours. Who has ever spent 4 hours trying to get a first time check up???? Total rip off!!!!! Please spread the word and get practices like this out of business.

Went in for a second opinion and was VERY happy with the thoroughness of the visit. Everything was explained in detail, no one was rushing me or any of the procedures. The visit was a very pleasant one and I highly recommend these folks.

This place is a complete scam. DO NOT go here. They employ a marketing tactic where they take about two dozen pics and x-rays then put you in a chair with each employee playing their part. Before beginning a routine cleaning – supposed to be covered 100% by my insurance – they bring in their “closer” they call an office manager. He tells you it’s going to be $300 if you want your teeth cleaned. I see from other reviews others have been ‘sold’ a $500 package. I’m reporting this fraudulent marketing tactic to the State of Georgia Board of Dentistry.

Be very careful they will try and bill your insurance for fluff charges. Billed mine for oral hygiene instructions($75) and fluoride which is only covered for 18 yr old and younger they also took picture of my teeth with some color camera also not covered never explained none of this charges...this were thing that were not needed. I later went to another dentist in Canton and he said I did not need all of that. I was stupid and agreed to a in house payment plan (while still in the dental chair butting me on the spot to sign) and should have requested a written estimated they set it up for services that I had not had done yet and ended up not being able to get done. Called I don't know how many times asking to speak to someone about and itemized bill. Now I am in collections and I am in the process of contacting my insurance that I had at the time and let them know of their practice. Also this place is not on the Better Business Website...interesting.

Started coming to Canton Smiles because they took my insurance and I wanted a tooth pulled. Dr. Sampat has done a great job and set me up on a wonderful treatment plan. Carla and Briana have been awesome helping me along the way. Carla is very patient with me and Brianna rocked getting my casting done. Totally recommend Canton Smiles to others.

Don't believe their listed hours. I am super disappointed to begin my relationship with this office. I scheduled an appointment almost a month ago, got the new patient package to fill out and two confirmation emails. Showed up 30 minutes early and the doors were locked. I double checked my emails and wrote it off as 'lunch' called ten minutes before my appointment to be told they have no appointments scheduled. I just don't understand how this can happen. Super disappointing to leave paid work and drive to a confirmed appointment for nothing. I scheduled an appointment for Friday but can only hope it stands.

Are you a struggling college student? Or a patient who wants to meet ends meet? Look no further, than at Canton Smiles Dentistry at Riverstone Parkway. I have always had trouble spending my money right. What better place than to get charged $95 for someone to tell me to floss more than at Canton Smiles Dentistry. I got a dental bill from my Insurance company stating that this dentistry charged me $623 for the regular cleaning. I was charged for 10 x- ray photos when the dental hygienist only pressed the button three times. One of the three times was a mistake that she did because the photo was blurry so she had to take the third x- ray. Next, I got charged $95 for oral hygiene instructions which was *drum roll please*...... “you need to floss more.” That’s all she said to me... I don’t even want to know how much I would have gotten charged for if she added, “Don’t forget to brush your teeth.” That might have been like $150 more. Is this scamming 2019 style? Please when you go there, make sure to tell the dental hygienist to shut up, just in case. This is a warning ⚠️! I know I’m being funny about this but this is very serious. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else because this is not right. Ask for a detailed bill before you leave the office.

Not only the bait and switch first cleaning which is a total joke, they try to up sell everything you didn’t come in for. If there were a -2 star that’s what I would give them. Now the $59. visit has turned into one tooth costing another $1,500. (Which is what another dentist is charging to fix the tooth) on top of the $1,300. we have already paid!!! They have serious problems and it is reflected in their scores

Then after all that they want you to PAY AGAIN for them to fix their own mistake! This place is trash save yourself the headache and go somewhere that had quality people. This place sucked. I was there for over 2 hours after they called me and asked if i could come in before my appointment because they had a opening, i was getting a xray, exam, and cleaning. My wife was sitting in the waiting room waiting for me and even asked the lady at the front desk how long it usually takes and she said about a hour and then they rushed my cleaning due to the fact it yad been 2 hours. They werent even busy! Most of the time i was there i was sitting in the room waiting for someone while I watched TV. Not a single person was in the waiting room when i got there or when i left. I called the office in tears about what I *thought* was a dental emergency and they helped me calm down over the phone and offered to have me come in the same day even though they were closing early. When I got there they kept me calm again even though I was alone and scared and in pain. There was also another girl in the office who clearly was mad about something and I even over heard them helping her and being kind despite her rudeness and being unpleasant toward them.

If you have all day to sit at a dentists office... then this is the place for you. I arrived before my appointment and was taken back 10 mins late. Then I was informed it would only take an hour and a half, but here I am... still sitting in the dentists chair waiting for my cavities to be filled 2 and a half hours after I arrived.. this is the second time this dentists office has done this. I even informed them I was on a time schedule. Unfortunately, I think I will be here at least for another hour. . Ugh.

The office staff is non-responsive and the majority of the work done by the dentists have to be re-done. My crown fell off, was discolored, partial did not fit, and wait times are terrible. The only reason I went back to have them fix their mistakes was because my insurance would not pay for the same teeth to be worked on again. My last visit was a root canal, and my husband's insurance had just changed to a different insurance company. I initially had to pay a down payment and set up payments because I did not have the insurance card yet. Two months later, and they have still not filed the claim, according to my insurance company. Most likely because they are still taking the payments out of my account, and they know they will owe me a reimbursement. The "office manager" does not answer questions, nor does he return calls. At least when Camille was still there I could at least get answers regarding my bill; that is no longer the case. I gave them one star because there wasn't an option for half a star. The only good thing about this place is that most of the assistants are friendly, and Dr. Sampat is very friendly, but that doesn't make up for less than competent dental work.

During past year, I went to canton smiles several times for implant and other dental procedures. My overall experience with Dr. Tina and the office staff was very satisfactory. I was extremely happy with the end results of all the procedures including implant and crown. I did not have any post surgery issues.

Don't waste your time. If I could give 0 stars I would. I needed a root canal re-treat. My primary dentist sent over my personal info so I could make an appointment with an Endodontist at this practice. They said they never received the info and wouldn't schedule an appointment until I did. I had my dentist resend the info. Soon after I received a call to schedule my appointment and I was scheduled for a month from that date. Three days before the appointment I got a confirmation call to make sure I was still planning on making my appointment, which I was. At 1:30 pm the day before my appointment, they called again and wanted to know exactly why I was coming for an office visit so I explained why. At that point I was told that they never received any of my information from my dentist which was bull because they wouldn't schedule the appointment without the info. Then they told me that their Endodontist DOESN'T re-treat a past root canal for, get this, liability reasons. My original root canal was over 25 years ago in another state so going to that doctor is out of the question. With my job I have to schedule time off in advance. I can't just decide to take another day. It's too late for that. Someone has covered my shift so I have taken a day off for nothing. What a colossal waste of time. I explained all of this to them but it didn't matter or change anything. They wanted to know if they could give me a possible recommendation for a doctor that would re-treat but I declined. I told them I don't need their recommendation and that I would NEVER use them or recommend them to anyone if they were the last dentist on earth. I went to this place in an emergency situation of a broken front tooth... I have Lupus which unfortunately can make you have bad teeth nomatter how great of care you take of them... My first appt... Xrays and consult with me begging the dentist to please make me presentable and she refuses until I have a scaling so I come back several days later for that and was told that I would need a few root canals and we would also do an Essex retainer in the event a tooth broke during the scaling and it would be a temporary cosmetic fix until the root canals... I come in good with that plan and was reassured more than once on the second appt that they would have the retainer on worse case and that I would definitely not leave there looking like I had broken or missing teeth.... We get thru the scaling with little issues yet I still have the ugly gap of my.broken tooth that brought me there in the first place... She gets done and had already assured me that they would have the retainer done prior to me leaving but here comes the bait and switch... All of a sudden I needed dentures right then that day and that was my only option and yes they left me just like I was... Moving forward I got a second opinion from a respectable dentist in my own town that unfortunately wasn't a provider on my insurance and guess what.... I don't need any dentures and the teeth they say were beyond saving look great now and were not in need of extraction...DO NOT go to these ppl unless you want to be lied to and frauded and if you look it up they are not even a member of the BBB.... Worse dental experience ever!!

I saw their online deal for cleaning, exam and digital x-rays for $59, don't buy into it!! I came in there wondering why it was so cheap, I should have believed my own intuition. I asked the x-ray technician if all the x-rays were only $59 and she said it was, I also asked the lady cleaning my teeth and she confirmed the same price. After all the xrays, exam and cleaning were done and it came down to signing the paperwork it was actually around $800 dollars!!! They told me the insurance takes care of all of it and that I don't pay anything...beware they will charge your insurance an arm and a leg. This sort of advertising is a SCAM!!! If you guys want to win big money don't sign that paperwork accepting the 800 charge, instead refuse to sign and see where it'll take you. If it goes to court then you may win a pretty penny!

I called the billing office and they told me that it was paid, that I would still get bills in the mail but to disregard them since it was already paid, that it takes a while for the info to work through the system. But let me tell you, for starters the office is very beautiful and inviting, also as soon as I walked in I was greeted by a sweet receptionist who broke down what I would be having done today during my appointment. After meeting with her, I was called back on time and had the pleasure of meeting with the majority of the staff who automatically made me feel like family. They were all very friendly and actually cared about my dental concerns. I’m very excited to make this my new primary dental office & I will also be recommending this office to my family and friends in the future.

It's rather haphazard how the quality of work will be when you get there. I had a temporary crown put on that was great, but when they had to replace it, the other crown broke easily and quickly. They also lost my wife's appointment to complete a root canal. Trusting this people has been the biggest mistake I've made in my life, 2.5 years ago I came here for a consultation, I was unhappy with my 2 front teeth + I wanted to remove 2 metal crown I had on 2 bottom teeth, they give me the total amount of $ and a monthly payment plan, treatment was starter and since the very first visit everything was a nightmare, they kept ensuring & promising everything will be fine that they will fix anything and that I will be happy, I've gone from bad to worse, I dont like my teeth, they replace the metal crowns for some kind of resin, they are very white making my teeth look not only obviously diferent but fake, they put 4 crowns in my upper front teeth, they are big & yellow, my whole mouth hurts, my molars moved because in order for me to get space for the crowns I had to get braces, now I'm dealing with a total new issue, worse of all is that I referred friend and family to this place not knowing the kind of trustworthy people they are, I do not recomend this practice, not the dentist or the orthodontist... This office is terrible. I went for my initial appointment on 9/1 and as of today 9/22 have had nothing but the run around from the office staff about a follow up visit to have work done. I told them i will not continue to do the 3 different procedures they want to do and charge me crazy amounts of money and.time off of work when it could be taken care of in 1 simple visit...worst decision i ever made was to go here and expect to be treated professionally....Every time i call theu say the doctor is at lunch or that they will call me back. It had literally been a week and i still havent gotten an answer except, we will have to call you back. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Where do I begin? First, I've been asking for a statement of what's owed for months. I haven't seen a statement since my son began orthodontic treatment two years ago. I've been blindly paying hundreds a month with no idea whether it's fraud or not. Secondly, I found out that even though I had requested that they check to make sure the claims were going to the dental insurance that I have on file, they had not been sending the claims to the insurance company (but I had to call my dental insurance to find this out because no one in the office is competent, apparently.) And lastly, after all of the above issues and a slew of provider changes because they can't manage to keep an orthodontist to save their life, I asked to be transferred out of the practice TWO MONTHS AGO and they still haven't done the AAO form (which is industry standard) and therefore my son is now overdue to get his braces checked. I've lodged an official complaint with the parent corporation, Smiles Generation, over a month ago and never heard a word back. I filed an official complaint with the Georgia Board of Dentistry today. One thing I learned from this fiasco of a practice is to be VERY CAREFUL about who you select as an orthodontist, because once you're locked in, it's difficult for a variety of reasons to transfer to another provider. Please beware. This practice is unprofessional. In addition to all of the above issues, the cleanliness of this practice is reprehensible. Several times we've been the first patient of the morning and there's still leftover salads, burgers, cups, and filth from the day before that's overflowing out of the trash can that's right next to the Keurig machine that's been broken for months and has slimy frothy water sitting in it. The communication from the provider to the patients and parents is also extremely poor, but it couldn't be improved at this point because there's a new provider every few months, so there's no consistency in messages and treatment plans. I could go on, but I think you get the point.

If this could be a zero, it would be. My husband I both had crown's that are horrible and refuse to let them touch me again. In the process of getting refunds to have completed by another dentist. Insurance will only pay again after 10 years. My calling, e-mails and going by has it process. i received my check and it's short 50.00 and the insurance check is lost and also short. e-mails to the office manager go unanswered or have not received a call. We are now in the process of dealing with my husbands issue. One tooth cracked and was replaced. Now the tooth is long on the top and bottom. Another tooth cracked and we had to pay the full amount to have it replaced. Something is wrong and I don't know what it is. We had being going he for a few years and never had a problem.

WHAT A MISTAKE!! Before I continue, I will say that both Margo and Sherry are probably the ONLY TWO people that are a saving grace in the orthodontist portion of this business. My son and I started our treatment in July of 2017. I now need two hands to count the amount of times that appointments were canceled due to the inability to schedule an orthodontist and keep the orthodontist. There is now a new one there (third I have seen since July) who does seem to know what he is doing and care about it! This is just the tip of the iceberg of problems here! There was a female office manager when we first started - I believe her name was Camille. Now SADLY they have Jon! He has zero people skills let alone any ability to run an office. I understand he is "protected" in his position which is a huge disservice to patients. My braces were to come off in January. My teeth were perfectly ready in December. I am now having to leave them on longer to close gaps that weren't in my mouth to begin with. This I am ok with, as I would have been furious to walk around worse than I started. I believe they will be off with retainers the beginning of April, but after what I have read, I'm not so sure of that! I have had to transfer my sons care to an orthodontist closer to his boarding school yet I AM STILL HAVING MONEY REMOVED FROM MY ACCOUNT with NO CALL BACKS OR ASSISTANCE TO STOP THIS!!!!!! I have tried to reasonably work with them but it is not possible when nobody will return calls. Pretty sure my next step will be legal in order to get communication. As I said, there are less than a handful of wonderful employees there, but the office manager has to go and their business practices or lack thereof need to be legally checked.

This place is a complete rip off. You go in for a standard cleaning and they rob you of 2 hours of your life. They send in a finance team to bully you into upgrading your cleaning. They wanted almost $500 to clean my sons teeth. We declined the extra services then they became RUDE and refused to clean his teeth. My son has gone every 6 months since he was 4 to get his teeth cleaned. This was our first time at this dentist and now according to them his teeth are rotting out of his head and they would “cause damage” to do a cleaning without the extras. This “dentist” office is the equivalent of a buy here pay here car lot. Do not waste your time or money.

Quick, great service and affordable. The front office ladies are really welcoming. The doctor was great. They explained to me all of my options as well as reviewing my dental plan for the future. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews here. For everyone saying they upsell you, this is a dentist office. Like every other doctor out there, they are only prescribing the best course of action based on your medical needs. Take care of your teeth and then you will not need costly treatments. Very disappointed! I went back today to hopefully get my new retainers and after six times they still don’t have them! Each time is another excuse of “we’ve had a mix up”. The establishment has piss poor management and lack of organizational skills. Lastly, the office failed to call and inform me they didn’t have my retainers in today wasting my time! As I said, there are less than a handful of wonderful employees there, but the office manager has to go and their business practices or lack thereof need to be legally checked.

1) Broke a tool off into my head. It's still there. 2) Crown came off after a few months, told by two other doctors it was done wrong and not repairable. But the work I had done 20 ago elsewhere is fine. After checking around, apparently this has happened to a lot of other people that went here. So I wish I had never gone!!

They are really sweet, Ashley was awesome very compassionate and helpfu.l On Friday 10/19/18 we were here for my daughter to have 2 wisdom teeth removed and my husband was in an accident she worked with me to get another car here to pick my daughter up after her surgery and then after we went home sent me an email checking on my family and asking if my husband was ok. We will be bringing my entire family to the practice and if you want a family, and comfortable place to have your dental work done this is the place. I will be telling all of my friends to come here.

After such great care at my previous dental office in Zion, Illinois this place is my new home without a doubt. This place is a complete rip off. You go in for a standard cleaning and they rob you of 2 hours of your life. They send in a finance team to bully you into upgrading your cleaning. They wanted almost $500 to clean my sons teeth. We declined the extra services then they became RUDE and refused to clean his teeth. My son has gone every 6 months since he was 4 to get his teeth cleaned. This was our first time at this dentist and now according to them his teeth are rotting out of his head and they would “cause damage” to do a cleaning without the extras. This “dentist” office is the equivalent of a buy here pay here car lot. Do not waste your time or money.

Quick, great service and affordable. The front office ladies are really welcoming. The doctor was great. They explained to me all of my options as well as reviewing my dental plan for the future. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews here. For everyone saying they upsell you, this is a dentist office. Like every other doctor out there, they are only prescribing the best course of action based on your medical needs. Take care of your teeth and then you will not need costly treatments. Seems easy to me. Thank you everyone.

Very disappointed! I went back today to hopefully get my new retainers and after six times they still don’t have them! Each time is another excuse of “we’ve had a mix up”. The establishment has piss poor management and lack of organizational skills. Lastly, the office failed to call and inform me they didn’t have my retainers in today wasting my time! I strongly encourage everybody who needs dental work to avoid this office.

I do not understand the negative reviews at all, they are professional accommodating, and have very affordable payment plans, I can now get braces for my son. The office is modern and the staff warm and friendly and I plan on becoming a patient once I get my son all taken care of. I love love love Canton Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics!

Just terrible all around. They'll let you sit in the dentist chair for hours before they get to you. One of the dentists (Hope Marshal) was extremely rude to me and didnt care that my appointment was 2 hours prior and they still hadn't touched me. She then told me I was "more than welcome to leave" I will NEVER return here.
