My main goal in finding a dentist is a clean staff, well this staff is very sterile for 1 thing, also the office is very clean and updates and everything that goes in my mouth is brand new not just sterile. A+ best dentist in Atlanta area. Easy to schedule appointments usually 2-3 day wait at most.

I recently had my first visit at Dr. Freeman's office, and everything about it was amazing! I was greeted by friendly staff, who made sure I was taken care of quickly with no wait. When I got seated in the chair, the cleanliness and modern interior matched that of the waiting room, and I was really impressed. My hygienist, Mich, was very knowledgeable in explaining each step of what she was doing (I came in for cleaning) and made me feel comfortable, even offering me chapstick and a warm towel at the end. She wasn't pushy about any treatments and gave me many pointers for at home maintenance. Dr. Freeman was also friendly and made me feel at ease even though I was nervous as it was my first visit in a while. I could tell he was thorough in examining my teeth. I highly recommend this practice!

Great experience!!!! I was running 30 minutes late due to traffic. The office rearranged their schedule and squeezed me in with no problem. Very accommodating. Atlanta Dentistry is by far the best practice in town. Before them, I went to three other dentist offices and none can compare. At this office you feel like you're an actual patient and not just a number in their system. I highly recommend Reena the hygienist. They are moving to a new location (2 blocks down) in a few months. I saw Dr. Freeman for a second opinion on some work a previous dentist said I needed. Turns out I didn't need any work done! I'm very glad I saw him and didn't go through any unnecessary surgery. Efficient, Friendly & Professional! I've been a patient of Dr. Freeman for 1.5 years now, and I'm always pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff all are, how efficiently they handle bookings, billing and the general cleaning visit process. Hanna always takes time to answer my questions during a cleaning, and offer advice on how to get the most out of my brushing and flossing. Plus they have seasonal decorating contests between the staff, and the patients get to vote for a winner! How fun is that?!

Atlanta Dentistry By Design is amazing! I've been going for two years now and I can't imagine going any where else. The office is modern and clean. There are very nice clean bathrooms. The staff are polite and hospitable, never disagreeable. My dental hygienist Michelle gives the most gentle and thurough cleanings ever! She is incredibly sweet, with gentle and graceful skills. She is informative and let's me know where I need to be brushing better. She is full of grace and truth. Getting my teeth cleaned is everything I want it to be: peaceful, gentle, and calming. Dr. Freeman is always excellent and speedy. The ladies at the front desk are darling and make sure that you leave in a good note. Parking is free and validated! I always leave with a sparkling smile! Can't wait to return in six months!

I always have such a pleasant experience here! I hadn't been to any dentist in like 2 years when I first came and was dreading getting shamed for my flossing habits, or having to go to several before finding one I liked and have to deal with getting X-rays over and over. I landed a winner on the first try. As a new patient, I was in and out in under an hour. My last cleaning appointment, even with new x-rays, was about 35 minutes. My hygienists are always so friendly and efficient and kept me well informed, and Dr. Freeman had great bedside manner! I also have to say I loved the office. It is bright and modern looking, but the chair I got my teeth cleaned in was also incredibly comfortable. I could have taken a nap. They even offer you chapstick so your lips don't dry out while your mouth is open. It's a little hard to get out of the parking deck even at 3pm since it's right on Peachtree, but parking is validated and it's worth it to have such a good experience 2 times a year.

5 stars - coming from someone who hates the dentist, this means a lot. In fact I went 2 years without seeing a dentist, due to the discomfort and 'chastising' I typically receive at my previous dentist. I've been to Dr. Freeman twice now for a dental cleaning, and had a very welcoming experience each time. The office is clean, easy to find, bright, and cheery. Complete opposite of most doctor/hospital environments. My dental hygienist was kind and intelligent. When she asked me questions about my dental past, she was completely non-judgemental and focused on patient care vs. upselling products. During the cleaning, she was gentle and asked me to tell her at any point if I was uncomfortable. She also would pause to checkin with me if she thought I needed a break. Overall, based on my experience I feel that this office has a trusting staff who actually love what they do, and want to provide quality care. I highly recommend.

I went to Atlanta Dentistry by Design for the first time this past Wednesday. Initially I was very nervous. I was put at ease as soon as I walked in. Everyone from the receptionist to the dental hygienist to Dr. Freeman was super nice! Christine was my dental hygienist and she was awesome! She was sweet, very gentle, and kind. She explained everything that she was doing. I would definitely recommend visiting this office to get all of your dental needs taken care of.

I'll preface this review by saying I typically avoid the dentist at all costs and really hate having my teeth scratched on by a metal torture tool. However, I experienced nothing but comfort and peace of mind when visiting Dr. Freeman's office. My Hygienist, Christine, was simply remarkable at what she does. She explained what she was doing to my mouth, why she was doing it, and what she saw. It gave me context to why I was in the chair as well as where I stand relative to general oral health. She was gentle and made a point to tell me the tools their office uses so that I can experience a painless cleaning and not feel like I was on a game show to see how much pain I could deal with. I truly appreciated her chair-side manner. My nerves have been calmed and I know that my next cleaning isn't something I should dread. Additionally, Dr. Freeman took 5 minutes to sit down and just talk to me. I was a first time patient and his genuine interest in who I am was refreshing. I did not feel like just another butt in the chair that equals a dollar sign. I highly recommend this office based not only on the quality of people who work there but how well they do their job too.

I had two fillings done there and now have permanent pain and extreme sensitivity in those teeth. I was told my only option to fix this is a root canal. I've never had this happen as a result of a filling before. If it just happened in one tooth, I could dismiss it as a fluke, but the fact that it happened in two separate teeth and that I've never experienced this with any other fillings done by other dentists makes me think that Dr. Freeman is at fault. Furthermore, I went for a follow up issue to address this result, they checked everything, said it looked fine and sent me on my way. Then a few weeks later, they call me to book a second follow up to see if the fillings were leaking. I was appalled that they would not have checked for this the first time if they thought this was a possibility, but instead want me to take more time out of my day to make a trip there and potentially compromise my health by not addressing this possibility sooner so that they can bill my insurance for an extra visit. And while this is less important than the (poor) quality of the work, Dr. Freeman does not make patients feel comfortable and has poor bedside manner. The first time I visited and he inspected my teeth after my cleaning, he pointed out a filling I had in one of my front teeth near the gumline, and said, "this must really bother you, is this something you'd like to get redone?" As a matter of fact, it does not bother me, it's incredibly hard to see unless you look suuuper close. I frequently nitpick my own appearance, and if anything is less than perfect I definitely take notice, but the fact that this truly does not bother me and is not something I notice in the slightest when I look at myself is a testament to how subtle it is. Dr. Freeman's comment struck me as incredibly rude and out of line, and it felt like he was trying to make a young woman self conscious just to book another unnecessary procedure and get more money. The staff is nice and were perfectly adequate for cleanings, but I no longer trust Dr. Freeman and will not be returning.

Great location with a warm, friendly staff! I visited Hanna and she is the best. She made sure I knew the importance of flossing and home care. She is also very very gentle. I have sensitive teeth and really do not particularly like going to the dentist, but Hanna makes that a breeze with her touch. I can't express how much I have hated going to the dentist throughout my life. So much so that I put off going to the dentist for a number of years before I finally found Dentistry by Design. From the time that I booked my appointment to the time I walked out the door I didn't have any discomfort. Even when I got a filling, I was at ease. I was able to call in and speak with a friendly receptionist, submit my documents digitally, and even schedule an appointment very quickly. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted and helped by the team. The hygienist was friendly and explained every step of what she was doing. She also waved away any worries that I had by giving me advice on things I can do on my own. Dr. Freeman himself was very quick and offered helpful insight on my personal dental care. At the end, we reviewed and discussed the results, and I was on my way. If you've ever thought that going to the dentist was difficult or annoying, I highly recommend giving this team a try first. I am so glad I found a great dentist in Atlanta! I moved from Dallas to Atlanta in May 2015 and had put off my teeth cleanings since moving. I am very picky about dentists and dread finding a new one as it usually takes me several tries to find the right one. Many painful, yet necessary experiences as a child ruined me on dentists, luckily my adult years have served me much better. lol Atlanta Dentistry by Design is actually the first place I visited in Atlanta. I will be looking no further. They were awesome from start to finish. Everyone was very friendly and attentive throughout the visit. New patient paper work was able to be completed online, which saved time. My dental hygienist was very thorough and did a great job. Dr. Freeman was also friendly and took the time to listen to me go over some of my dental history. I'm 35 years old and have had 0 cavities. Atlanta Dentistry by Design will help me extend my cavity free streak a while longer.

Highly Disappointed in this practice. I work very close to the office and after reading reviews, I decided to visit for a toothache. I initially liked the practice however all the bells and whistles don't make up for the discriminating customer service provided by Randi (office Manager) and limited abilities of Dr. Freeman. I paid for the visit, new x-rays and a prescription, all to be sent to a better Dentist. The referrals are over priced golf-buddies and NOT the best person for your issue. When I had to call them back to make them aware of the pain i still felt, I was told I had to visit again. This is a rip-off, they cant do the work and only will deal with you if they can get another super high bill out of you. As Randi told me even tho I just visited in November I need all the same things done again. She also told me that she would be hanging up on me because she didn't want to help anymore. I called back to wait to speak with Dr. Freeman and the receptionist took a fake message. No call back, no help and i could have kept my money since they didnt nothing. Guess I wont get tickets to a concert since I made a truthful review.

I never dreamed that visits to the dentist could be such a positive experience. At Dr. Freeman's office you can look forward to a clean facility, friendly staff, and gentle handling. The ladies at the front desk are so nice and welcoming. The wait time is minimal. Every dental assistant (pardon me if that's not the correct title) has gone out of their way to ensure that I'm comfortable and pain free. Dr. Freeman makes sure that any questions are addressed. This office has better service than Chick-fil-A! And I love me some Chick-fil-A.

This place is awesome! It is very clean and unlike other places they don't push unnecessary deep cleanings. They check your insurance upfront so that there aren't surprise bills at the end of the year. Dr Freeman is very attentive and like the hyginists does not push unnecessary manipulations. My experience with Doctor Freeman was great, he was very precise and descriptive about my treatment, I was calling to schedule my second appointment unfortunately the lady on the accounting department was very rude and disrespectful, apparently as she said the" perfect storm" formed against me, since my address and cell number had typos when input on system... they input apt. D instead O, they had my cell number right since I got a call asking my decision about Veneers and when I wanted to schedule next apt; but NEVER got call letting me know that there was a balance pending??? but she said they also my cell wrong which does not make sense!! she even said I may be going "UNDERCOVER" and gave me a very hard time saying that she could not understand my words but we spoke for 10 minutes, honestly the whole experience with her was unbelievable she also commented that my insurance plan was very bad because I got it from the market place; they supposed to checked your insurance to know what they cover or not, she was in fact who initially told me my insurance will cover completely since was a preventative service ( cleaning), but paying this is not the problem I get it my insurance did not pay the total; my frustration is the way this was managed by her, but it does not stop there the total amount was$ 115.00 she sent me to collections for it, I wanted to take care of it immediately but she said a very friendly third party collections agency has your case. I do see this was a perfect storm that YOU caused with all the typos, not calling me to let me know this was happening being disrespectful, rude and incompetent with ZERO Customer Service Skills, My advice pay in cash so you don't have to deal with her.

I’m a professional and in my opinion, there are so many good dental surgeries in Atlanta, this isn’t one of them. The receptionists and accounts dept are friendly and helpful, but the dentist makes you feel like he’s doing you a favour every time he treats you. On more than one occasion I was left disappointed and felt like I was being ripped off. I had my tooth removed prior to a big overseas trip with the agreement that they would make me a flipper tooth to mimic a real tooth. Twice in the days leading up to my trip, they tried to sell me on a temporary tooth that was the wrong fit and had a pink gum line (I’m of Indian descent and my gum line is far from pink!). Eventually and after tears, the doctor made me a fixture with a painted tooth to use for my trip, which wasn’t even a colour match!! And I was charged around $400 for it!! I never even an apology from the doctor.

I have admittedly not been to a dentist in quite some time. A newish transplant to Atlanta, I decided to finally find a dentist and start sticking to my regular check ups. Luckily, Atlanta Dentistry by Design was the first dentist recommended to me on my insurance page and is just up the street from my apartment. As someone who dreads the dentist, I was anticipating lots of dental work, some shaming for having lapsed in dental care, and a hefty bill. I received none of those. The staff was incredibly friendly; the online appointment scheduler made scheduling easy; the hygienist was thorough and friendly when giving advice, and Dr. Freeman was informative but not at all pushy. I thought I was going to receive recommendations for expensive procedures, but he really was much more of the mindset that here are some options you can pursue if you choose, but your teeth are perfectly fine. I will certainly not miss an appointment as long as I'm a patient at Atlanta Dentistry by Design.

I've been a patient since I moved to Atlanta 3 years ago. I really like the hygienists and the front office staff. They are very friendly and professional. They are the reason I keep returning to this location for my cleanings. I haven't had much interaction with Dr. Freeman other than his brief visits at the end of my cleanings, so I can't comment on his ability as a dentist. However, there is something about his bedside manner that rubs me the wrong way. His demeanor doesn't seem to match that of his staff. He seems a bit rushed, makes no attempt at casual conversation, and generally spends only a few moments with me reviewing the visit, which leaves me feeling like an inconvenience. I had a cleaning today and didn't even noticed that he had left as he didn't even say goodbye in a cordial way. All other reviews here are positive, so it is possible that my experience is a rare, but consistent one.
