I have pretty severe dental anxiety (thanks to several traumatic experiences) and I’ve seen a lot of dentists trying to find one where I am comfortable. I love Dr Foote and the staff at Acworth Center for Family Dentistry! Even when I’m having a panic attack and am crying, they do everything they can to make me feel comfortable. Dr Foote and her team explain everything very well and never make me feel like an idiot for having such anxiety (and believe me- LOTS of dentists have told me that I “just need to get over it and let them work.”) Thank you, Dr Foote and staff for always doing your best to make your patients feel at ease! Going to the dentist is one of my least favorite things to do. I moved 4 years ago so I had to find a new practice. I was so impressed. The receptionist are kind and helpful. The tech doing my x-rays walked me through everything as she took a ton of images. The hygienist was very nice and talked to me about options. De Foote is an absolute delight. She listed to me and heard all of my concerns. She was very understanding and more than willing to work with me on my future care. I am so glad I found Acworth Center for Dentistry. Absolutely amazing experience. I have been to multiple dentists throughout my life. This is, by far, the best office I've been to. What really impressed me was that after the consultation, Tessa went through everything with me. From what needs to be done to what my insurance covers. I was definitely convinced that they care about their patients. 5/5 stars for sure! Update: I have gone for my second dental procedure and I couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Foote and Casey have been absolutely amazing. 5 stars doesn't suffice. They were so thorough and explained every step during the process. This is by far the best dental practice I have been to.

Dr. Ganti did my wisdom teeth surgery a week and a half ago. I was terrified to get this done, but I dont think I could have asked for a better doctor!! The surgery went smoothly, I followed his post op instructions, and even received a call from him personally to check to see how I was feeling. I had NO bruising, very minimal swelling, and was able to keep my pain under control. If you're in need of any kind of oral surgery, go see him. Thank you so much Dr. Ganti!!!!!

No Endodontist on site. If you need a root canal and don’t want to have to schedule with two different places don’t call them. They will not tell you this until they’ve completed a full exam. I scheduled an appointment this morning and told them I was in a great deal of pain. I was given an appointment for 9:30am. I was called at 9:00am and asked to arrive “earlier” so they would have time to do the work, to which I said ok and put shoes on to leave my home. I arrived and filled out the paperwork by 9:15am and was promptly left to sit in the lobby until 9:35am. After having panoramic X-rays taken that I wasn’t informed about prior to having them done I was taken back to have real Xrays done. It was explained to me that the first Xrays were necessary to diagnose problems *by the front desk, then immediately afterwords I was told that the first Xrays could not be used for diagnosis *by the technician, and that I would need additional Xrays taken. Considering that I specifically questioned the need for the first Xrays I find the lack of an informed staff to be rather a bad put off and possible sign of very questionable billing practices. I then had to wait until 10:00am (20 mins) before I was seen and told they couldn’t do work on molars and I would be referred to another clinic. Considering that I was asked to come in early this was probably the single worst experience I have had at a dentist. It would have been understandable if I had been asked additional questions and then was referred to the dentist who could actually do the work, then I could have saved my hour+ they used up by having this appointment and used it finding a real appointment I will now have to schedule, which they also said they couldn’t perform because they no longer had a doctor who could at this facility. *UPDATE: Also told when I left that I needed to have a referral in order to see the type of dentist I needed. I called my insurance and they specifically told me I did not need a referral an could have gone straight to someone who could have helped me. I have serious concerns about this location and am now considering further actions. Please be informed if you visit a corporate workplace such as this one. It appears they may take advantage of you. I will be following up with my insurance to verify any claims made.

I originally went to the Hiram location and they were busy. The receptionist was more than helpful because they had no availabilities at their location and actually called out to Acworth to get me in that morning as I was in a lot of pain. Upon my arrival at Acworth I was thoroughly impressed with their setup. I guess you could call the interior a Craftsman Style and put me at ease unlike your standard dental practice. I was not even done with the paperwork before I was called back. Once in the back the chair they sat me in had a TV on the wall. The View was on so I won't hold that against them. They actually brought me a remote and I was able to change it to something more my liking. As I waited for a few minutes I did my share of looking around and noticed they had a TV on the ceiling while they're poking and prodding your mouth. My Doctor was very sweet and completely put me at ease with the process and actually gave me options of what I would prefer. I have a surgery scheduled soon and I have the utmost confidence in their abilities. I will be bringing the rest of my family to this practice.

Had an insane tooth pain while camping in the area. Needed an emergency dentist, and Dr Toube was able to get me in, and extract 2 teeth within 3-4 hours of calling on a Monday Morning. I had my 6yr old daughter with me, and the office staff was amazing with her during my extractions. So very happy with their professionalism and ability to get me in so quickly.

Today was my first appointment as a new patient at this office, and it went well. I did not expect a cleaning, but they did do one. That was definitely a plus! I really liked the hygienist. They do need to order more rins for X-rays to cycle through so that patients do not have to try and hold the sensor for the anterior teeth. It was overall a really good experience, and I would recommend this place.

I used to like this office, but mainly for the dental hygienists. This time I had new insurance so when I made an appointment, the office told me they'd call me within a week to discuss my insurance coverage (as another person mentioned no one picks up the billing line, you have to select make an appointment to even talk with someone). After over a week, I called them a day before my appointment because I hadn't heard from anyone. They were rude and told me they had not had time to even call my insurance yet. Fast forward to 2pm the evening before my appointment they called back to tell me my insurance had been deleted out of the system and I had to give it to them again?? They left an ambiguous voicemail that afternoon saying my insurance was accepted at this location so I show up the next morning for my cleaning and they tell me that my insurance pays a portion off the cash price of my cleaning. Ok, sounds fine right? NO, they try to tell me that the cash price for an EXISTING PATIENT for a cleaning is $360. They were also rude throughout this whole process and told me I wouldn't find anywhere cheaper. Well let me just say it took all of 5 minutes to realize that it's cheaper just about everywhere to be a cash paying existing patient and even if it weren't I'd gladly pay $360+ to go somewhere else with better customer service.

Lot's of paperwork before going into the back. They should have a desk so that you can complete the forms legibly. There should be a light on this table as the waiting room is quite dark. Forms - the font size is very small, and there was a line running down the page that made it nearly impossible to understand some of the questions. Some of the questions are repeated on the forms. The forms can't be completed before the visit. Minus one star for the paperwork done on a clipboard. Once the forms debacle is completed, you are led back to to working part of the office. It's well lit, and has all of the equipment that you would expect in a modern dental office. The staff is polite, and knowledgeable. The oral surgeons that I saw did a through exam and explained their findings twice so that I understood what was going on. I left the office without a resolution, but with an understanding of my problem. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to friends and family.

This is the worst dentist office I have ever visited and I have been to a lot of dentists. I have had braces twice, had maxillofacial surgery, and have very rarely missed a cleaning. I have never had an office that did not address any billing issues. You ALWAYS get voice mail when you push 3 for billing and no one ever calls you back. I had issues with them saying I needed deep cleaning when no dentist has ever come close to saying I need anything other than a regular cleaning. My husband had a botched root canal that he had to have over again in another office and they are still billing us for it. I very rarely leave bad reviews for anything but this one was deserved.

Nobody enjoys trips to the dentist. This a universal truth. However, I was so surprised by the pleasant atmosphere and the kindness in which I was greeted. All of which started on my initial phone call. I was asked about what I didn't like at my last dentist and what they could have done better. As for my appointment, I waited only a couple of minutes before I was shown back for xrays and then seated waiting for the dentist. There was a TV on the wall and one on the ceiling as well. Very cool! I didn't have to wait long and soon enough we determined that I have a cavity. They didn't have time to take care of it that day so rescheduled me for the following week. The best part is that we were having difficulty due to the holiday weekend with my husband's insurance. They said that I could take the time and work it out and then pay for my visit the next time I come. Talk about excellent customer service. I was blown away. My only regret is that I didn't come here when I had to have my crowns done. A+

Horrible company stay far far away from these guys. You go in to get work done and agree on a price then pay the bill at the time to turn around and receive a second bill for almost just as much 30 days later. If you call to discuss the matter they swear that they do not do discounted pricing and that you owe the bill and they hold you hostage. I have never seen a business with such shady practices.

I have a terrible fear of dentist! Growing up I had treatments by a dentist who rarely numbed the area for fillings etc. I only go when it's an emergency, so of course a rather urgent need came up. After searching the web I was impressed by their website. I love that they have a "chat feature" on their website as I am hearing impaired and used the live chat as my initial contact. I then went to the office just to check out the front desk staff and I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who assured me they would make my visit as pleasant as possible. The actual dentist I would see (Destiny) happen to come in view and the receptionist introduced me to her and she greeted me. Scheduling was easy and very accommodating. Just a nice calm, professional atmosphere. First visit was a consult with Destiny (no pain). Now I see an oral surgeon and I can have treatment at the same facility as they have specialist on staff. Procedure, financial and what to expect was explained. All my questions answered. After this, I just might be able to "let go" of the bad childhood experiences!

Being a place no one likes to visit, it is a place that tries to make it less painful. There is a comfortable reception area with refreshments. There are TV's for you to watch while the work is being done, yes even when you are reclined there are TVs on the ceiling. Of course you better like shows about home buying, flipping, remodeling, etc. I don't think they have heard of news channels! The staff is friendly and helpful. I love that I get the same tech person each time. The doc is good also, friendly and seems to know what she is talking about. They are helpful in trying to always get you good deals on dental payment options, except they do NOT accept American Express, really? I also love that they are always reminding you of your appointment. Months before, days before and then hours before you are suppose to be there. Overall, a great place, I would give 5 stars if they accepted American Express and had better TV choices.

I was quoted for a $100 new patient cleaning and x-ray on the phone, only to arrive for my appointment and find out it would be in excess of $400 for both. They gave me a pamphlet with insurance information to which I have no interest in signing up, This place did a bait and switch on me and should be honest and thorough with costs and patient information before wasting someones time.

Being a place no one likes to visit, it is a place that tries to make it less painful. There is a comfortable reception area with refreshments. There are TV's for you to watch while the work is being done, yes even when you are reclined there are TVs on the ceiling. Of course you better like shows about home buying, flipping, remodeling, etc. I don't think they have heard of news channels! The staff is friendly and helpful. I love that I get the same tech person each time. The doc is good also, friendly and seems to know what she is talking about. They are helpful in trying to always get you good deals on dental payment options, except they do NOT accept American Express, really? I also love that they are always reminding you of your appointment. Months before, days before and then hours before you are suppose to be there. Overall, a great place, I would give 5 stars if they accepted American Express and had better TV choices.

What a lifesaver!! Had a dental emergency on a Friday afternoon, was able to get in first thing Saturday and get it fixed! The entire staff was so kind, professional, and efficient! I now have a new dentist. Went back for a regular cleaning and exam a few weeks later and experienced the same great service. It's great being treated like a client instead of a checkbook. i had surgery here, abstractions, deep cleaning, and soon bleaching. they are honest convenient, im 40 years old, after surgery i had no pain played with my 6 yr old nephew all day, was ready to go to work the next day, but legally i couldn't because of the meds. The Dr was awesome no BS and the nurses was awesome, friendly, they take EXTREME PRIDE in their work. i was impressed with everyone. i drove 1-1/2 hrs 1 way each visit because there service was worth my time.Im going to post names on my 2nd compliment of this office because they deserve recognition to the fullest. This Facility is awesome!! I went in on a Monday with a terrible toothache, Dr. Foote quickly found the problem and I was in for surgery with Dr. Ganti the following Wednesday. Granted I was a little nervous being that I had to get all 4 wisdom teeth extracted, the staff was so amazing and nice everything went so well it actually felt like I did not even have surgery. To top everything off Dr. Ganti himself kept in touch with me for a few days after to check on my healing process. I would definitely recommend them a million times over.

I went to their website and was impressed enough to make an appointment. The new dentist was alright the staff was only 3 people but then the prices where going out of sight. we new it was time to move on. We found Dr.Foote from a friend. my lord the atmosphere of the office and the help are wounderful. This is one place that you can go to and almost be pain free.. You will absolutely love this place. Let me tell you about Tess. She was amazing. I had an extremely hard day Friday and then I had to go to the dentist. I was overwhelmed, I had prodcedure done at another dentist turn out it wasn’t done correctly. As I was stunned and money is already tight I just cried right in the office. Tessia called the next day to check up on me and send me stuff I would need to contact my last dentist office. I will never use another dentist office again. Horrible experience. Just horrible. I urge others to go elsewhere. Initially my appointment that I confirmed months in advance was cancelled due to "inclement weather" (1/7/17). No follow up was performed by the staff to accomodate this scheduling issue. I then reschedule my appointment with a specific date and time in mind due to the scheduling debacle earlier in the year. I came to my appointment this past weekend (8/19/17) only to find out that my appointment was cancelled since the staff "attempted" to reach me to confirm that I was still planning to attend. I am a busy person, I set my appointments well in advance and I follow through on my commitments. If my time serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Drum has thought me anything was to commit to the mission and stay the course. Acworth Center for Family Dentistry wasted my time, my gas, and my children's time by neglecting their duty of care and showed piss poor service to not even have the appropriate staff available to see me on the day we agreed upon. Thank you for showing me the best quality of service your facility has. I am truly glad to take me business elsewhere.

I sent my friend for a cleaning (covered 100% by insurance) and they said he wasn’t a candidate for a cleaning and that he needed a deep cleaning in all four quadrants of his mouth to the tune of $1000. They said he had a cavity and needed a tooth surgically removed. I got a second opinion and was told he needed a little extra cleaning on a few teeth. Very disappointed in this practice. If you have insurance that pays the dentist very little then I think they go out of their way to recommend every procedure in the book. But to not even do the cleaning (no charge to the patient) and recommend very expensive procedures (not covered by this particular plan) verges on malpractice.
