Outstanding first time visit at 1st Choice Dental Care in Woodstock, GA. Amanda, the front and check out, greeted me and was very professional during my time there. There were no questions in regards to insurance or verifications. She made the transition smooth. Amy, the hygienist, was wonderful and showed me around the office before the visit. I appreciated that. It made me feel welcome. When it came down to the cleaning, she worked on my teeth with ease. She has a good hand at getting in the tough spots. She was very outgoing and nice. Dr. Vaughn was great and very personable. I will definitely be coming back for routine visits. Thanks for making my first time back to the dentist a smooth experience.

We went to this dentist prior to a move... and they gave one of our boys a filling, not even two months later he was chewing gum and it popped out! I am livid over this. My husband had work done too and his teeth have not felt right since. Disappointed. They were very nice to us but I do not trust this place at all now. Will never go to another first choice dental ever again.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. McRee and the staff at the Woodstock office. I am in the process of getting an implant (terrified). Dr. McRee and his team have been wonderful during the entire process. They have treated me with kid gloves, explaining everything, even letting me see what goes on behind the scenes. I got a follow up phone call last night just to make sure I was doing okay. Way to go team! I'd recommend them over and over again.

One of my front teeth began hurting and I called several dentists and was told it would be 2-3 days before I could be seen. 1st Choice not only saw me that same day, but after the dentist confirmed that I needed a root canal, they also found an endodontist that would see me that day, as well! All of the staff at 1st Choice Dental are extremely caring and personable. I have never liked going to the dentist, but, they make the experience a lot less stressful for me. I would recommend them 100%!!!

Everyone at 1st Choice Dental Care (Woodstock, GA. location) was great. Amanda, at the front desk, was pleasant. Aubrey, my dental hygienist was awesome. She was kind, informative and very thorough. Dr. Vaughn was out so I saw Dr. Mcree. He was great. He's very nice and is interested in the best treatment for you as an individual. Shannon was great to deal with when it came to billing and follow-up appointment scheduling. The entire experience was very personalized, professional and relaxing! I highly recommend them!

I have never reviewed a place before but... I couldn't rate this place more highly. They send you the paperwork to complete online via email, which is very convenient. Though, if you don't want to complete it online you have the option to fill it out in person. I did arrive early but there was minimal wait once it was time for my appointment. My hygienist, Aubrey, was very nice and understanding that I was extremely nervous/anxious about going to the dentist. She explained everything she was doing/going to do. She spoke to me about the treatment options and made sure to check what was and wasn't covered by my insurance. She also went over the charges I would have so there would be no surprise numbers upon paying for my visit. Dr. Vaughn was also great. She made me feel at ease as well. Just in general this place is quality and I recommend this dentist office.

I have a severe dentist phobia. I haven't been to a dentist in 15 years and would not have gone if I wasn't in extreme pain. From the first second Holly answered the phone I knew I had called the right place and that everything was going to be ok. She assured me that they would take good care of me and that she would even hold my hand, and that's what she and the entire staff did from the moment I walked in. The office is very calming and doesn't feel like a dentists office at all. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff. They took care of me like I was family. They didn't laugh even when I cried over something as silly as exray's. They were gentle, kind and comforting the entire time I was there. Dr. Vaughn was very sweet and didn't hurt me at all. She explained my options and referred me to an oral surgeon so I could be put to sleep when the work was done. Because of their kindness I actually decided to get an implant done instead of just having my tooth pulled. It means more work and return trips to the dentist, but I'm ok with that knowing how they will treat me while I am there. I am switching my entire family to Dr. Vaughn's office and will be singing their praises to everyone I know! I highly recommend this practice!

Attempted to schedule a cleaning today. They refused to schedule unless I agreed to a very expensive procedure. I contacted the ADA who told me this procedure was reccommended but not a requirement. I would not refer anyone here. Thats a shame because Dr. Vaughan is a great but she is no longer here but at the new office in Marietta. This place is going down hill very fast.

I tried to give this office a 2nd chance to take care of my needs & it was worst than the 1st time. I requested the doctor called me after my first visit and that never happened. Holly the office manager said she will take care of me so I allowed her to make me an appt for 11/6. Today as Im in route to the office I was told the visit was cancelled because I didn't reply to a text message they sent but at 3:04pm I get another text saying they look forward to seeing me today. Come on with the joke. My first visit I see a sub doctor and the tech tells the clerk things that the doctor never told her and I had to tell her what the doctor said and I was correct. Im not sure if the staff is new or experience but they are horrible. Why not do like normal offices do and call your patients if you need to confirm? Why would I need to confirm an appointment that I made with the office manager? They need a better system. I won't go back there until the doctor herself calls me. I knew I should have kept my dentist in Atlanta. This office is a joke. Make sure you are listening to your diagnoses so if its told incorrectly you know what was said about your visit. Stick to a family dentistry because these pop up offices and scarce.

She is a wonderful dentist who does her procedures with very minimal discomfort as she always places her patient's comfort level at high priority.. The office manager , Holly, is very professional and friendly and is always available if I have any billing questions.. AND last but not least, I highly recommend 1st Choice Dental care because this Dental office is totally honest and they do not use high pressure "sales tactics" in suggesting dental procedures..

I had to change dentists because of a change in insurance and I made a very poor decision choosing 1st choice Dental Care. I went in for a routine cleaning. The hygienist was very gental, the place was clean, everyone was very nice-- I felt comfortable. Dr. Vaughn said that my x-rays showed that I had 3 cavities. Given that Dr. Vaughn is not at the location every day I made an appointment with Dr. Kataria (Dr. K) to fill my cavities. When I arrived Dr. K numbed the upper left and bottom left portion of my mouth, when she should have numbed the upper left and bottom right. After she numbed my mouth she proceeded to drill on the right side (which was not numb). When I basically jumped out of the chair, Dr. K realized that she numbed the wrong part of my mouth. She had the x-rays in front of her and was completely negligent in looking at them. I was hesitant to allow her to continue but she reassured me that it was OK to numb my entire left side as well as the bottom right side of my mouth. My mouth was held open (non-stop) for a full two hours (I watched an hour of the news and all of the Chew). When I went to check out I was furious. She had nicked my gum, causing it to bleed, my face was numb past my eyebrow on the left side (which has never happened) and on the right bottom portion, my jaw was so sore, and then they charged me even more than I was told. I could not argue with the charge because no one could understand me when I talked. I was numbed at noon and when I went to bed that night at 11pm, I still had the numbing sensation. As a nurse, I know how important it is to not make mistakes and Dr. K was clearly careless. Although she did call me from her house phone that night to see if I was ok, which means she obviously knew that she had made a mistake. A few days later I felt something loose, it was the filling. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. It is the worst dental experience I have ever had in my life.

I recently needed dental care which I've been putting off due to fact I really haven't found a place that makes me feel comfortable but when I discovered 1st Choice I was more than pleased! The staff is wonderful from the front office ladies to the dental hygienist, assistant, to the checkout and especially the Doctor which at the Woodstock location is Dr. Vaughn. They all made me feel comfortable and eased my fear! When a Doctor actually calls to check up on you to see how you are doing and if there is anything needed to please call them back...means a lot! The service here was great!!!! Everyone was soooo nice and I really liked how they went over your bill with you BEFORE doing the procedure. That was the first time and best thing I ever seen! I really loved it because I knew what I was getting into and was not surprised when I got the the counter of the price after insurance covered what they did or being overcharged for something super simple. I got my wisdom tooth taken out and they gave me plenty of options in regards to being out to sleep or being numb and it was super fast (I only got one taken out so I went with just a numbing and was only in there for an hour!). I feel confident with going to the dentist again!!! I definitely switch to go here from now on. Thank you!

Love this place and these people! I broke a crown and needed to get in quickly. I was able to schedule online. They can do SAME DAY/one appointment crowns - amazing. Very high tech and the easiest fitting ever. This was done at my first visit. But, I had been neglecting my regular cleanings and felt sure other issues might be found. They needed to do a deep cleaning/scaling. I did not question the diagnosis as this had been an issue in the past. They prepared a detailed treatment plan, including all costs and applied my insurance benefit. They made sure I understood (a) what was going to be done and (b) what my bill would be. This treatment was done over two appointments that I was able to get scheduled later that same week. I went back for my regular cleaning/polishing today. My gums were much improved from my previous visit. WHAT I LIKE BEST about this practice is that everyone is friendly and welcoming. It feels like everyone working there is HAPPY to work there. It creates a very comfortable, relaxed patient experience. I am so happy to have found a new dentist!

I am no fan of the dentist. I am actually a bit scared of the dentist and I am 34 years old. 1st choice dental at woodstock has completely changed my opinion. The office staff were amazing and the most efficient. I've been to this office now three times and have had to wait no longer than 5 minutes to be seen. Amanda at the front desk was so helpful and was able to awnser any questions I had. My dental assistant Jeni was outstanding. She was so compassionate and I felt so comfortable with her. She was able to put my fears to rest, which i didn't think was possible. My dentist was Dr Mcree. He is truly in it for the patients well being and not for financial gain. He has been very informative and helpful in my decision process. This office does not treat you like a patient, they treat you like family.

I was so nervous when arriving at my appointment for 2 crowns and worrying the whole day. I've mostly had bad experiences with previous dentists, and of course the bad experiences are most memorable :-(. As far as I can remember in my adult life, I have always felt pain and discomfort with fill ins/crowns after being numb and with the nitrous. Today I felt nothing!! :-D.. Everyone was so comforting upon walk in, and I am so thankful and most of all relieved. I am so fortunate for 1st Choice Dental Care Woodstock. Dr. Kelly Vaughn and her team are the best!!

The old dentist was rude, uninformative and caused me a lot of pain during visits. This week I decided to ask around for a good dentist in Woodstock and 1st Choice was the 1st name recommended to me. The staff was great and extremely accommodating. They even found a cavity underneath a filling from my old dentist that he should have fixed! They were super helpful in telling me what I can do to have my teeth in the best condition possible and I felt very comfortable there. I am so glad I found 1st Choice and I will absolutely continue seeing them! Thank you!

Mrs. Bryan, I have tried on numerous occasions to reach you, but have been unsuccessful. Over the past few years you have expressed on social media that you are unhappy with our practice and our office policies. You requested your records a few years ago to seek treatment elsewhere due to our policies and we welcomed you back with open arms when you requested our services again. I was suffering from severe pain in my jaw and tooth. 1st Choice was able to fit me in immediately, and Dr. McRee figured out the problem instantly. Unfortunately, I had an infection in the bone that required a tooth extraction with some bone removal and bone grafting. I was terrified, but Dr. McRee, his assistant Sydney and everyone was wonderful. Dr. McRee was unbelievably gentle with the needle to numb me, and after that I felt absolutely nothing! I have had cleanings that hurt more than this pretty invasive procedure. I have been beyond impressed with Dr. McRee and everyone with 1st Choice's Woodstock location!

I am always greeted with a welcoming smile and I am always taken care of. The staff is so great to me every appointment. I just went in today and experienced filling out a quick survey of items I would like to make my appointment more comfortale and relaxing. I was given cold bottled water and had access to the tv while she cleaned my teeth. I don't love going to the dentist, but these women make it much better for me!!

I am not one who likes going to the dentist office. 1st Choice Woodstock has changed my mine about that. The staff there are freaking hilarious. They make me want to smile before I walk in and they keep me laughing even when I am leaving. From the ladies checking me in, to the staff members who do the work, and the dentist herself all make me feel like I am their number 1 patient. (Can't put a price tag on that) I can honestly say that they are a part of my family. I have going to this office for 3 years now and I highly recommend you try them out. Today was my first visit to the office. Prior to that, Morgan and Amy (hygienist) spoke to me on the phone. Both were very friendly and professional. The office was the same. The desk staff, Amanda and Sydney, were courteous and welcoming. Chastity, the dental assistant, showed me around the office and got me settled. She took my xrays and was very careful. She was very kind. She even got me a pillow!!! Amy did a great job. She, too, was very professional and courteous. Dr. Baugh came in and checked my teeth. She did not try to pressure me into getting procedures that I could not afford. My experience with 1st Choice was truly a joy.

Dr Vaughn was so sweet and she listened to me and what was important and bothering me and that right there meant alot to me. As apprehensive as you may be making a dental appointment, this practice will make the appointment as comforting as you have ever experienced.
