They were very nice and the one that cleaned my teeth Was new and I was really impressed that that she did not hurt me and that I never had my teeth cleaned So throughly.. Then when the Dr .Shindell came To check me out she was very informative and I appreciated that. I was truly happy with my experience.

My husband went in about 9 months ago.. before my wedding which was in October of 2018. He was supposed to have a root canal. Mid way they stopped and put a temporary fillings in. He went in the next week because it hurt SO bad. They did nothing . The filling CAME out.. they did nothing . So here we are ... 04/23/19. We went to Doctor Willfard Dyer... not only did merit mill kill my husbands tooth, they didn’t even go down to the 2nd root. JUST THE FIRST. We went to Dr, Dyer and he was amazing .. he pulled the tooth cause it was SO infected .. oh and did I mention that merit mill wanted us to PAY for the WHOLE root canal when it was finished . What a joke . GO TO DR DYER .

I've been to a lot of dentists in different parts of the country. Merritt Mill is definitely the best I've experienced. (I was amazed to see one bad review!) I was sold even after my 1st teeth cleaning. I had never been given so much education before and she was marvelous. Dr. Singh is a perfectionist and extremely careful to avoid causing any pain. He monitors you closely to make sure. The receptionists are very friendly. Everyone their does an excellent job. In addition, they introduced me to Care Credit to help pay large bills interest free. It works other places also, like my vet. They also showed me a dental insurance I'd never heard of which is cheaper & covers much more than the plan offered at work.

Very unprofessional, took numerous attempts to send my husbands and I's xrays/dental records to our new dentist- had to physically go in there and wait. Received a bill for $800- which I did not pay as I made sure everything was paid before we left ( we pay the day of and always have) - stayed on hold never received a call back- called back numerous times finally said I owed $82.00 not the $800... said absolutely not I called back and they said they OWE ME a refund of $64.80- this was one year ago- I have called back every month since and the same story from the "manager" Jill- that it's a 3rd party and they don't know why they haven't sent my refund yet. I guess I will be making my way there this week to sit until something is done.

I was a little nervous since Dr. Singh is no longer at this practice. After about 8 years with one dentist you get used to their techniques. While Dr. Shindell probably has much less experience she is absolutely delightful and it didn't take long for me to trust her. Very happy with my experience.

I just moved to this area one week earlier and wasn't planning on finding a dentist so soon but a crown had come out. I called Merritt Mill and they were responsive to book me the next business day. Their receptionist, Linda was very welcoming. My wait was short. The assistants were professional, efficient and welcoming. The dentist was able to save the crown. Everyone made me feel a valued patient and I instantly had both confidence and reduced anxiety. Always hope I don't have to return soon, but knowing my mouth is crisis management, it is great to know I am comfortable returning to Merritt Mill Dental.

Dr.Singh and Kerry are a pair of the most understanding people in the entire office. I am so glad I found them to take care of my dental needs. They make you feel important and really listen to your needs, fears, and financial means. I needed extensive work done, and between them and myself, a plan was devised that accomplished what I needed and could afford.

The doctor went into great detail to answer my questions. The staff and doctor made this a very good experience. I've been going to this dental office for 2 years now and they are the office that finally helped me get past my dread of going to the dentist. They use plenty of numbing for procedures, they explain pricing and procedures and x-ray results really well and take time to answer my questions. I've never had an issue with the quality of their dental work (fillings, crowns, etc) and no longer dread going to the dentist!

I and my family have been dental patients of Merritt Mill Dental Associates even before the current provider took over this practice. We have also been dental patients of other dental providers during the course of our residence in Salisbury, Maryland. We have varied experiences during the course of 45 years or so, on the Eastern Shore. We are most satisfied with the current provider compared to all others that we have dealt with during the past almost half a century. For the past several years, under the current leadership, service has been superb. All the doctors and the staff, at the Merritt Mill Dental Associates, are courteous, pleasant, and competent professionals in their respective areas of expertise. They provide excellent service. They are quite busy; and that shows to me that other patients have similar experience and make them keep coming back. We are very happy and satisfied. They get five gold (out of 5) stars from me.

this dentist office only will recieve four stars from me because i am very pleased with all the staff except for one lady in particular. im not 100% sure of her name but she is very rude! her desk is in the back corner & she was very rude with me on the phone and in person. however this office has one very friendly lady whose name i also cannot remember for i am bad with names. however she sits at the window for check in, she’s so very kind in person and over the phone. if they would just get rid of the other lady this office would be amazing.

Did not get to receive dental care at this office. Became patient July 1,2019 and had to wait until Oct 1 for an appointment for a cleaning. Called office on 9-26-19 to confirm date/time and was told they had dropped my insurance and I would not have an appointment! No advance warning...no notification...persons I spoke with could have cared less. Guess I am glad i am getting another dentist....this office has poor customer service/caring!

My husband and I both go to Merritt Mill, and we LOVE the people there! Starting with the front desk and going all the way thru our cleanings and other procedures, we couldn't ask for a better experience. Dr. Kaur and her assistant, Ellie, as well as Patti, our dental hygienist, were friendly, knowledgeable, and very willing to answer any questions. Dr. Kaur recently did a procedure on me, and she was very patient, advising me beforehand what she was about to do, waiting for the numbing to take effect, then repeating the numbing during the procedure when I told her I could really feel what she was doing so the initial numbing had either worn off or wasn't enough. Dr. Kaur and Ellie carried on a conversation with me while we waited, and not once did either of them appear impatient to get on with things. CAN YOU TELL I LOVED IT?!?! I would give them a 10 out of 10 if we were in Rio right now, and would recommend them without hesitation!

I am quite happy with the dentist and especially the hygienists. However, I continue to be frustrated by the billing process. Though a patient for 2 years, I go through the same rigmarole every time since the office staff is unfamiliar with the benefits of Blue Cross/Blue Shield despite the fact they are a BCBS preferred provider. Please educate your office staff to avoid this hassle every six months.

Have had mixed experiences at merritt mill. Most recently, the dentist did a good job however in the past a different dentist espoused his political views while my mouth was immobilized. I had told him I preferred not to discuss the current state of affairs. The administrative staff has been disappponting. Several calls about their fee structure and possible discounts offered by my insurance plan, including with the office manager, were never followed up as promised.

Absolutely horrible experience. There was one kind staff member, Kimberly. Otherwise, every other person I encountered was terribly rude. They were horribly inconsistent. They'd explain a procedure to me once, and then tell me it would be entirely different the next day. They charged me for services that I never had done! They told me they offered services and then, on subsequent visits or phone calls, refuted those claims! And they tried to overcharge me for services I had done! I left in tears after a dentist and the office manager bad mouthed me and refused to take responsibility for all the above-mentioned items. Spare yourself the additional agony and go elsewhere.

I had a dental cleaning with Patti and she was very prompt, thorough and gentle. I then had a check up with Dr. Shindell and she too was very gentle and explained everything to me that needed to be done. I would highly recommend Merritt Mill Dental Associates. Even the woman at the front desk was pleasant to deal with and as many times as I’ve called their offices they were always glad to help. Their office was clean and very welcoming. My second appointment was with Dr. Shindell to have a few fillings done. Like many people, I hate to go to the dentist. So when I find a good dentist, I stick with them, cause they understand my anxieties. Dr. Shindell is certainly very understanding when it comes to anxiety issues. She is calm, patient and puts your mind at ease. She also is very gentle. So if you haven’t been to a dentist in a while or are having anxiety issues about seeing a dentist, I strongly recommend you making an appointment with Dr.Shindell. She will make you want to smile again.

Have been a patient for many years. The dentist and hygienists are great. Unfortunately that cannot be said of the office staff. When I arrived today, I asked the receptionist at the front desk- who was pleasant - what my semi annual cleaning was going to cost me today as I no longer had dental insurance. The hygienist was standing with her waiting to take me back. The lady replied $290 with x-rays, $160 without x-rays. I replied drop the x-rays and I will just do the cleaning. After my cleaning, I went to checkout and a different woman said my total due was $270! I replied that I did not get x-rays it was just a cleaning. She stated again your total due is $270. I was shocked and said that I was told by the other receptionist before I went back that it is $160. The woman responded well she was wrong. My hygienist was standing there during this exchange and spoke up saying she did tell him $160. The receptionist then said the other woman was new and didn't know what she was talking about. After arguing for several minutes, including the hygenist agreeing with me that it was wrong that they are charging me $110 more than what I was told, I paid - thank goodness there was enough in my account - and demanded my records. My advise, get all quoted costs in writing if you decide to be treated by this office.
