I fell and broke my two front teeth while walking my dog a couple weeks ago. This dentist was out of network from my insurance provider so I was apprehensive to go. I could not have has a better experience . They called me to let me know they were running AHEAD of schedule and I could come in earlier. They took care of my insurance, completed my out of network reimbursement form electronically without me asking them to do that. In less than an hour they fixed my two broken teeth and they look better than before. Their office is super clean, the staff is super efficient, friendly, and extremely professional. I can't recommend this office enough. Thank you for fixing my teeth!

Let me start with I have the outmost respect for the doctors in this office. Today I went in for a consultation about my broken tooth, to talk about how we are to fix it. I sat down in the chair to wait for the doctor and the dental assistant started to clean my teeth. I asked her what she was doing because I assumed at first she was just checking out the broken tooth that they had fixed months ago but had broken again, she replied with that she was cleaning my teeth. I told her I wasn't scheduled for a tooth cleaning, multiple times infact through out this miscommunication.they kept saying I wasn't going to be charged, this was upsetting because it's not about the money it's the lack of professionalism and doing a procedure I wasn't scheduled for I was pressed for time to get back to my business, 30 minutes later I still didn't see a doctor .I decided it was too late and I had to leave, on the way out they admitted it was a mistake and that they weren't going to charge me .not even 10 minutes later I get a call from the doctor saying I am not welcomed there any more, and he gave me zero respect to allow me to say a word and he hung up the phone.

My family has been going to Mercer Dental for approximately 5-6 years. Doctors and Hygenists are Awesome, however because our insurance has changed to BCBS they are not able to take our insurance. I have brought my kids here and self - payed but unfortunately I cant pay my premiums every month as well as full payment for dental cleanings etc...sorry to have to leave. Hope you change your policy and accept All insurances.

I called, overdue for a cleaning, exam, & x-rays, requesting an appointment with almost zero notice because I had the next day off from work. I was fit into the schedule at a time that worked for me; which I knew wasn't guaranteed but I was fortunate enough that it worked out. (by, I believer her name is Mackenzie, who was pleasant, polite, and helpful with all of my coverage questions). I saw Rosemarie for my visit and she was also polite, personable, and willing to answer all of my questions. I would recommend anyone to this practice without a doubt.

Well, needless to say after somewhat of a hiatus from visiting them over a insurance payment dispute I returned for a visit. But really only out of a pure “emergency” but honestly I felt coldness or maybe bad bed side manner from the dental hygienist, it was almost passive aggressive in nature. The atmosphere wasn’t friendly unlike how other patients were treated, granted I did owe them money so maybe that played a part I’m honestly not sure. But what I will say is this after I paid my bill more then half in cash which is the highest bill I ever paid for a “exam” anywhere else including what I owed prior, I was told it’s there policy not to release any medical records ie X rays to anyone else; unless I paid my account in full. I only owed less then a 1/3 but whatever. I had my final treatment done somewhere else not their REFERRAL I’m truly weary of how they submit their INSURANCE CLAIMS regardless of which insurance the Individual uses. I say this because I have first hand knowledge they gave someone I know a very different quote for a dental crown then the one I received actually a very substantial difference this it not hear say. I feel I will not be returning anytime soon

Jennifer (the hygienist) did a thorough cleaning and periodontal analysis. Good job! Dr. Sydell was condescending and patronizing! I recommend charm school for him. He did not provide a comprehensive risk analysis of various periodontal treatment options but instead provided a worst-case analysis that ends in death! WTF! I would never choose him as my primary care dentist. Hence, I am investigating comprehensive dental insurance plans that have local networks. I suggest that this practice join a network so that it can retain patients and be subject to oversight.

The cleaning was very thorough and the best I’ve ever had. They do a complete history and health evaluation as well. Dr. Mercer explained some concerns and a plan for some work I need and I couldn’t be more pleased and confident that I’m in good hands. I can’t say enough good about the professionalism and friendliness. They really have a concern for your comfort and the level of your tolerance and fear of dentists. For the first time in my life I was happy after going to the dentist!

Recently went to Mercer, for a cleaning, and exam. I was told that I needed a filling, was given a written estimate, and set up the appt. for the filling. After the filling, I went to pay, and was charged $50 more than the written estimate. Not a very good way to conduct business, kind of a dental " bait and switch". I'm being very generous with 3 stars! I don't think that this is going to continue to be my dentist!

Had excellent care at my two recent visits. Rosemarie did a great job with my cleaning and taking xrays/images. She was kind, gentle and professional. The assistants & office staff for my second visit were also professional and helpful. Dr. Giaccone is wonderful! She fully explained my plan of care & her recommendations. She was gentle and very professional. She always made sure I was comfortable during my visit. Very glad I have moved to this practice and I would highly recommend them!

Came highly recommended by a friend and I was actually thinking about getting her a thank-you gift for the info! *Beautiful office with a genuinely friendly and knowledgeable staff. My hygienist today (Brandy A+++) wowed me as she pulled up an article concerning a thyroid condition I have and how it coorelates to my dental health and conditions I was currently experiencing. I had mentioned the thyroid condition on my new client forms and was pleasantly surprised that she took the time to review that information before I sat in the chair! My last dentist was such a nightmare- this office is a dream come true.

I wish I could give more stars. People seemed really nice but I have called around every where looking for someone to fix my tooth asap... finally some told me to call Mercer Sydell so I did and was really excited I finally able to get it taken care of. Well I told them I was self pay and could they give me price, again really stoked it wasnt gonna cost me my arm and leg. Well come appointment time and what I was told was far from the truth. Almost 200 for them to see if I felt coldness and then tell me what was already obvious. Long story short.... suppose to go see someone else for part of service and back to them for the rest which means it would be a month plus before my broke tooth could be fix. Definitely not my understand price wise and service wise when I originally spoke with their office.

Not a month or two after Dr Sean made my bridge with absolutely no discomfort what so ever, he was given the opportunity to perform miracles on me again! While eating a lobster, I bit down hard on a piece of shell and broke my tooth. Not only did he let me come in to see him the very next morning at 9:00 AM, but he actually repaired the tooth during that same appointment. In an hour my tooth looked even better than it had before, and I felt no pain or discomfort! Dr Sean is the best, as well as everyone working at Mercer and Sydell. I do not recommend this office!! They quoted me a price for some work and I paid what I THOUGHT was the FULL amount for the work to be done up front. When I went to get the final product I was told that I would have to pay an additional $1000!!! WHAT?? I left and did not have any work finished. I should have sued!! I'm okay but I would not go back to this place. Besides the dentist is a Freemason. I should have picked on that. I would not have gone to begin with. IF I had DONE my homework I would have gone to another. I will do that eventually.

When I arrived the hygienist, Caro Davis, reminded me about taking my antibiotic, required by my orthopedist since I had knee replacements. I had forgotten to take it. She switched her following appointment with another hygienist so I could run home, take the medicine and return in time to complete the exam and cleaning. I have been with Mercer et al and have never been disappointed. They are a little pricey but I think worth it.
