I would give 6 stars if I could. Thought I would never say that about a dentist. Hands down best dentist I have ever been to. As someone who works in healthcare I can tell that Dr. Ashrafi and her staff are all professional, knowledgeable, caring, thorough and honest. I used to hesitate going to the dentist but not anymore. They make every effort to ensure you are comfortable and all your questions that you may hesitate to ask are answered. They are also very clear with written estimates when it comes to the cost of procedures.

It took me a while to find a new dentist after moving to Delaware, but I'm glad I went with Crescent Dental! (Thanks to my coworker for recommending them to me!) It's run by a husband & wife team of Dr. G and Dr. A, so it felt good knowing that I was supporting a small family practice run by local doctors instead of some corporate franchise. The person at the front desk was very nice and helpful when I was filling out my paper work and explained to me what was covered through my insurance and what was not covered, along with other details related to my visit. I'm usually not good with paperwork, so her help was very much appreciated! After the initial examination, I learned that I had a filling that came loose and an infected wisdom tooth that was bothering me for a while and needed to be extracted. Dr. G explained his treatment plan for me in a way that I could actually understand and make sense of. I should mention that I usually get very anxious when it comes to dentists, but Dr. G's gentle approach helped alleviate some of my anxiety. Oh yeah, and the hygienist was super thorough and very very gentle and talked to me the throughout the visit. Like, it felt more of like a relaxing massage on my teeth and gums rather than endless poking and scarping I expected (from my previous visits). My best friend recently went to Crescent Dental after I pestered her about her dental health situation and importance of having healthy teeth and gums. She's just as weary of dentists as I am, so I was really relieved when she told me that she had a good experience. And when she says anything positive about any kind of doctor, she really sincerely means it. So all in all I'd highly recommend Crescent Dental to anyone looking for a dentist.

Very Rude and incompetent Manager and staff. They clearly did not respect me as a client at all they did not want to listen to a word I had to say. When it all came down to it I was right and they were wrong. The discrepancy was on their part they over checked on my billing and did not want to do their own research in handling the problem. No one should ever have to go this it is unethical scrutiny. They were very poor in their behavior very unprofessional, it was the worst consultation. The technician did not know what she was doing she got scared in the procedure to allow water to run down my throat. The dentist took a long time extracting the tooth he did not know what he was doing. This was a horrid experience the BBB needs to take their license now!

I was suffering from recurring headaches, migranes, earaches and jaw pain for years. After seeing so many doctors and physical therapists, I did my own research and went to see Dr. Ganjavian aka "Dr. G" at Crescent Dental for TMJ treatment. Dr. G created a custom and comfortable oral appliance called NTI for me and injected Botox into the overactive muscles that were the root cause of my problems all these years and nobody was able to help me. And my dental insurance and flexible spending card covered most of the cost. Now I wake up feeling fresh, less tired and have no more nagging headaches. I can eat my breakfast right after waking up instead of waiting for an hour for my stiff jaw to loosen up. Dr. G's treatment has literally changed my life.

This is the most unprofessional office I have ever encountered. My granddaughters both had appointments which my daughter confirmed the day before. The evening before the appointment my granddaughters became very I'll. My daughter called the office in the morning to tell them she needed to reschedule because the girls were sick. The office said they would not see them again because since both girls were sick thay counts as two missed appointments. My daughter called after the girls were seen by thier Dr. and offered a Dr note and they still refused to schedule. This happened Tuesday and the kids are so sick thier Dr put them out of school until Friday. I think it is awful that they were treated this way. when treating young children there will be times kids get sick and you don't have 24 hours notice. Do you want vomiting kids with high fevers in your dentist chair. Crescent Dental you should be ashamed of yourself it's obvious that your practice is all about the money.

I got my tooth extracted today. I do not have dental insurance and do not qualify for the credit line. HOWEVER I would more then willingly spend 500 all over again for the 2 appointments I had along with the laughing gas given to calm my anxiety. The dr was quick with the procedure and did a fantastic job. Pulled my tooth within 2 minutes. Asked me more then once if I was comfortable. Made sure I felt little discomfort and no pain. Will most definitely be back. Dr. G was the one who did the extraction as the other stepped down from adult extractions and now I see why. Dr. G was wonderful and needless to say this is the most painless extraction I have ever had (there still is pain but nothing too horrendous). Their staff were very kind and did not look down on me for the tooth that I had avoided care of. I absolutely am satisfied and will quite frankly refer them to everyone and anyone in need. The price is well worth their expertise. Even checked up on me after the procedure was done and made to feel like I was important lol. Thank you all!

I've seen all 3 dentists and both hygienists at this practice and they are absolutely lovely! This is a comforting, non-judgmental, professional practice. They take the time to adequately explain the procedures and pricing before you enter into anything. Their technology is current and their dentists are knowledgeable. Check-ups are quite thorough and they pay attention to and take notes on every single tooth. Another noticeable thing about this dentist's office is that it doesn't smell like a typical dentist office! Vanilla candles and air fresheners and clean bathrooms add a touch of elegance to the already gorgeous office building that this practice is located at. This place is convenient, friendly and welcoming.

I wouldn't take my dog to this place. Needed a tooth pulled and after seeing it was infected and me a diabetic he should have sent me home with antibiotics and removed in a few days. But fearing possible loss of a sale he proceeded to tell his assistant that he was the only one that could remove it and he was only there one day a week. The price he quoted me was $350 for removal with an additional$130 for x-rays. Was told by assistant it was because of what tooth it was. Yet they quoted me $350 for 3 other teeth also. The most painful experience at a dentist in my life. I feel this guy is not only a crook but a butcher too. $480 for a horrible experience.

I moved here from Louisville after 30 years of care from my excellent dentist. That was 6 years ago. At that time I received a mailing about Cresent Dental. I made an appointment. Experience was good however I was not fond of the Video promotion screen in the room. Anyway, I tried three other dental offices in the next 18months. I am proud to now say, I have returned to Cresent Dental. The videos are gone. The care of office far exceeds the care I was given at those other offices. I enjoy seeing the same hygienist and dentist every 6 months. My insurance covers these appointment and I am never given additional cost. I am a surgery nurse and can speak about how clean this office is every visit. The staff in kind, helpful, professional. My dentist also diagnosed teeth grinding which was unnoticed for about 50years. I was fitted with a custom appliance that fits beautifully and is so small to wear. Cresent Dental always exceeds my expectation. I am able to park for free in the adjoining parking deck.

I brought my son to this office to have his two teeth extracted and I was so nervous . They made me feel so comfortable and reassured me that my son wouldn’t feel any pain and that he would be okay . Being greeted so kindly put me at ease, that's absolutely what you need coming into a dental office where so many people have unpleasant experiences. Dr. Gangavian presented my treatment to me like he cared, he went straight to the point and told me what was most important for my oral care. They have amazing staff trained by Dr. Gangavian and Dr. Ashrafi. The girls up front desk are just as nice, they even helped me validate my parking which was very convenient. I have been using Crescent Dental for over a year now. Every visit had been spectacular, and I'm always seen within minutes of walking in the door. The front desk staff are always courteous, and the technicians are all professional and patient. Dr. Asadpour did extensive work on my teeth, and went out of her way to manage my pain and make sure I was as comfortable as possible (I'm nearly impervious to novocaine, et al.). Dr. Ganjavian is always friendly, and has never had a problem double checking a problem area at my request. I highly recommend them!

I moved to Delaware a few months ago and hadn't had a chance to find a new dentist. I work in downtown Wilmington and cracked a tooth while eating lunch and had excruciating pain. I called around a few places and was so grateful that Crescent Dental was able to squeeze me in right away. Not only were they sympathetic when I was panicked, but Dr. Ganjavian went out of his way and stayed late to do the root canal and filling that same day. They were able to get me in on my lunch break to crown the tooth with Dr. Ashrafi a few days later. She mostly works with kids and nervous patients, so she's really patient and gentle. My tooth looks and feels good as new! I really appreciate that they took such good care of me, can not say enough good things about them!!!! Their office is super modern, tidy, and has a much calmer environment than my last dentist, which helps when you're already anxious! So glad that they see kids too, I was able to schedule myself and my daughter for a checkup and cleaning. Thanks again Dr. G and A!

My 11yr old son needed a root canal, his very first "big procedure" and of course he was terrified maybe even over reacted like any other scared kid hearing and feeling all types of instruments coming in and out of his mouth. So Doctor G. thought it was a good idea to tell my 11 yr old son as he was drilling and my son crying that if he continued to act like that he could just look for another dentist for his next visit.... Then since my son wasn't as still as he would of hoped for he then asked me " if on his next visit someone else could bring him in that he actually listens too like his dad" Who or what doctor in his right mind would say something like that. Why would a doctor ever ask a question like that? That was such a unprofessional and cold hearted question/ comment!!!! I am sure Doctor G has a perfect little family with a mom and dad and happy children but unfortunately my son hasn't seen his father in over 4 years. I will never in my life step foot in that office! if Doctor G doesn't have the patience for children and there tantrums he should make his office exclusively for adults and leave the children for actual professionals!!

I moved here from Louisville after 30 years of care from my excellent dentist. That was 6 years ago. At that time I received a mailing about Cresent Dental. I made an appointment. Experience was good however I was not fond of the Video promotion screen in the room. Anyway, I tried three other dental offices in the next 18months. I am proud to now say, I have returned to Cresent Dental. The videos are gone. The care of office far exceeds the care I was given at those other offices. I enjoy seeing the same hygienist and dentist every 6 months. My insurance covers these appointment and I am never given additional cost. I am a surgery nurse and can speak about how clean this office is every visit. The staff in kind, helpful, professional. My dentist also diagnosed teeth grinding which was unnoticed for about 50years. I was fitted with a custom appliance that fits beautifully and is so small to wear. Cresent Dental always exceeds my expectation. I am able to park for free in the adjoining parking deck.

I have been using Crescent Dental for over a year now. Every visit had been spectacular, and I'm always seen within minutes of walking in the door. The front desk staff are always courteous, and the technicians are all professional and patient. Dr. Asadpour did extensive work on my teeth, and went out of her way to manage my pain and make sure I was as comfortable as possible (I'm nearly impervious to novocaine, et al.). I called around a few places and was so grateful that Crescent Dental was able to squeeze me in right away. Have been going to Crescent Dental regularly for 7 years now, and they have always been very professional, quick and efficient. The two hygienists (Lindsay and Liz) I've had are all very friendly and explain everything as they go through a cleaning. The doctors come in at the end and do their own thorough exam, then take additional time to explain and address any questions you have. I've never needed any additional work done, but my wife has had a few fillings done and she has said it was smooth without any issues. I appreciate that they take most insurances (since I changed jobs a couple of time and got a different insurance every time) and let you know about specific costs for any procedures needed, and also talk through various options for treatment. I also like their super convenient and hassle free text message reminder system. The system even tells you how much payment, if any, is due for the visit so you can arrive prepared.

First visit was cool no issues.I DECIDED to bring my older kids for a visit and the staff has no patience for smaller children unless they are being seen if they are with you and they cry or play or just being kids they closed the doors and windows like your disturbing them made me feel very uncomfortable I waited for my oldest to come out outside in my car they have old warn toys that needs to be clean in a closed trunk in the waiting area they are ok far as adults but for smaller kids go somewhere else. In Response to the owner: Not once did I base my review on quality of work or the dentist at crescent Dental my review was based on customer service regarding small children when I received another call from your office asking if I wanted to confirm my twins(2 year olds) appointment with your office I simply told them no they could fill the spot and exactly why just as a stated in my review now today I received another call from your office apologizing and asking if I could delete my review and I simply said no a review is base on a persons personal opinion I visit your office 3 times (check your records since you wanted to put that out there HIPPA) all 3 times I kept my appointments the last time when I visited without my husband is when I felt as tho the customer service was a little off and as a professional establishment you should be able to take reviews rather good or bad with a grain of salt not try to bash the clients. I have called to Crescent Dental 4times requesting to speak to Dr. G. A manager by the name of Megan, who says that she’s the manager of both office locations, is refusing to let me speak with him until I pay her $100 for a dental bill. This bill that she has spoke of today has not even been sent in the mail yet. I told Ms Megan that I was at work and would call her back with my new insurance information and debt card information. She starting laughing and told me that I thought this was a “Game,” that she does not have time to play. After telling her that it was an emergency, and that no longer wanted to speak to her, she told me that I had to pay that balance before Dr G could speak to me. She then said to me as she was laughing, “Well Dr G is not my supervisor, nor is he going to help you pay your bill Ciara,” and hung up the phone on me. Each time I called the office, a receptionist politely placed me on hold for Dr. G, but Megan continue to pick up the phone and taunt me, and even referred to me as “you people” in saying “you people don’t want to pay, but want help!” With my last procedure with Dr. G, I willingly paid $2,300 in cash (after the projected insurance coverage amount was applied) before the procedure even began. Why would I not pay $100 for a standard cleaning? Because I am a Black woman, it was assumed that I and “you people,” can’t pay a bill and now my rights to speak to Dr.G on the phone as I have before are taken from me?? Am I know longer human?? How this person has been allowed to treat me today, has brought tears to my eyes.

I am very happy to be going to Crescent Dental and seeing Dr. G. I have had these pains in my jaw for so many years and have been to 3 different dentists, but they couldn't find anything wrong. So, I tried Crescent Dental at the recommendation of mother who has been going to them for a while. It turns out that I had an entire root of a baby tooth stuck in the roof of my mouth between my adult teeth and the gum had grown over it so it was hidden and it was infected all these years and was giving me pain in my mouth and making me get headaches. I went in for my first cleaning and check up visit, and although it was a very busy day for them, doctor G. took his time and listened to me and thoroughly examined my mouth and found out what the problem was. He had his assistants take several xrays of my teeth until he could point out to the problem area. I feel specially grateful that although he had other people waiting for him and his assistants kept calling him, he made me feel like the most important patient in the office and never rushed. I went back to him and he took the piece out of the roof of my mouth and I have not had any pains or headaches ever since.
