I had my first visit today and the staff was very courteous and friendly. They helped have my dental records transferred from my previous doctor in another state. The waiting area and dental offices were all clean and well lit. My wife has an appointment on Friday and believe she will be happy with Dr. Matthews office, she was actually hesitant to leave our last doctor simply because they already know us and she felt comfortable at their office. I believe she will be happy with our new dentist office Dr. Matthews.

I have been a patient at the Matthews practice for well over a decade now. I have never had a single negative experience there. Even when I have to cancel an appointment late because work got in the way, they were understanding, accommodating, and professional. All of the hygienists are friendly and proficient and their work spaces are spotless. All of the dentists are compassionate, and knowledgeable. They always give you a range of options when a procedure is needed and explain everything about it. I would definitely recommend this practice to anybody who is looking for a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable practice for them or their family!

The appointment was just long enough to take care of my needs (important when life is very hectic!) Their communications for reminders and confirmations of appointments are very helpful. I want to give them 5 stars because i feel bad about ruining their rating but I honestly do not feel they deserve 5 stars. Their Google Reviews and Website is nice and when I called and talked to them, their staff was very nice and helpful and answered all my questions. So I would assume if I became a patient, they would treat me well and take good care of me. However, I am unable to become a patient because I am working but uninsured and can't afford their dental work. I fall in that category where I make too much to receive any government assistance but make too little after my bills are paid to have enough cash set aside to pay for their services that they priced me at for uninsured. Unlike most people who live if a spouse, roommate. or their parents, I have my own place. I don't drive a fancy new car with a car payment and I work and pay all my own bills by myself. And I don't make minimum wage. But I have two teeth right now that are giving me pain and I have to live with it because the clinics won't take me because I make too much and I can't afford this dentist. Its sad. I called them because their website says they take payment plans. Guess again. They use that CareCredit thing that you have to apply for. Well I have bad credit right now so I know I won't qualify. They should change their website to say that payment plans are accepted via a third party depending on credit worthiness. Anyway, thanks for your time.

Dr. Bruce has been my dentist for over 25 years. I have always received great care. His staff is very pleasant and willing to help with any problems. The office is clean and very well maintained. Whenever I am asked to refer a dentist Dr. Bruce is always number one.

I am new to the area and needed to get an emergency filling replacement, as one fell out over the weekend. Not only did they promptly reply to my online message first thing on Monday morning... they got me in not he same day for a cleaning and replaced the filling. Everyone in the office is pleasant and so helpful. I truly enjoyed everyone and am so appreciative. This is, by-far the best dentist experience I've ever had... I won't go anywhere else!

I have been a patient of Dr. Matthews since the 1970's. I found him when my previous dentist retired and I was having an emergency. He was so professional and did such a great job I was and remain very impressed. I was always nervous with dentists, but I have complete confidence in not only Bruce, but all of the others connected with this practice. I have recommended him time and again, and have never had a complaint. Great dentist! Also, congratulations on the clean sweep on all five being list in Top Dentists in Delaware. WOW! I expected it!

I have been very happy with this Dentist office. They were extremely helpful when I had a question about another dentist my children were seeing. I have been using them for more than 15 years, and I've never had a single complaint. I never have to wait for an a scheduled appointment. I have used both Dentists for fillings, and other work, and they are just very good at what they do; and take great care of you. Any insurance issues I have ever had, they worked for me. I can't say enough good things about this practice, my kids use them as well, and have only positive things to say.
