I am a first time patient and my experience was more than excellent! I am actually one of those random people who likes the dentist. I was in to get routine maintenance and looking to change dentists. So I found this one close to my house. The google ratings were pretty decent so I made an appointment. The staff was very accommodating and offered me to come in an hour before my scheduled appointment. definitely a win, win. I am very satisfied with the X-rays and cleaning I received. My problems were addressed and I was set up with the needed information to correct the issues. I appreciate the knowledge and the warm personalities I encountered during my visit! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, personable dentist office! Also they have a great referral opportunity AND a massage chair...so jump on it!

I was very happy with the service that was provided. I started to make an appointment with one office that was closer to my home but the young lady who answered the phone was awful. When I called the American Dental Associates practice, I was immediately impressed with the young lady over the phone which moved me to make the appointment. Although it is far from my home, the service was excellent. From the young lady at the front desk, to the dental assistant who understood that I HATE the dentist and was patient and informative while taking x-rays to the dentist himself. I liked the staff and their attention to patient care. I have finally found my dental office. Thank you!!!

Called to try an make an appointment because my normal dentist is having a hard time finding out where my issue is coming from. After having a lot of work done from my normal dentist, American Dental Associates advised me that I could not come there unless I paid up front out of pocket because my benefits may be exhausted. I know getting paid is important, but do they care about their patients? All they had to do was go online to check my available benefits. Nonetheless, I just went online to check my remaining benefits with my dental carrier and I have more than enough to cover any visit. Therefore I will be using them with another provider. Thanks for nothing!

This place is absolutely amazing! Dr Shah is so knowledgeable at his work and makes you feel very comfortable while doing the procedure. I got a root canal done and did not feel a thing. I was handed an ipad to listen to music meanwhile getting my root canal. The dental assistant margie is super friendly and very professional. The front desk staff including magda and iqra make you feel like family. I am so happy I found a dentist who I wouldn't ever dread going to. The office atmosphere is also very welcoming - love the massage chair. Kudos to the whole team!

Like everyone else I always hated the dentist but after starting to come to American Dental my opinion has changed. From top to bottom they are awesome. Receptionists are awesome and go the extra mile to make sure everything is taken care of. They dealt with my insurance company so I didnt have to. All of the staff are super friendly and make you feel like some of your family members are in the dentistry industry. I was super nervous about my root canal but I was talked through the whole process and it went very smoothly. I am very happy that I decided to try them out

The dentist office that I had been going to for a few years suddenly closed down and I went to one of there other offices. I was not impressed and all the dentist wanted to do was pull teeth. I said no I need another opinion. I called a few places and got the run around, so I googled a dentist near me which these guys came up. I’m so glad because they were very professional and treated me like family. Trust and believe I will be returning cause they really helped me out and I will be referring friends and family to them.

I had a terrible tooth ache that occurred on a Thursday and they were able to get me in and perform the procedure early Saturday morning even though I was a new patient . The staff is great but the dentist maken my dentures didn't listen at all the direction of the teeth made me look like roger rabbit and the pain of how far up the denture went is way to high I would not recommend going here to any one ever for denture almost 1,100 for these dentures and they suck and now the insurance plan won't pay for another five years and yes I paid for half that amount my self

I have been looking for a new dentist. I searched online, read the reviews. and have driven past this place so many times, I'd figured I'd give it a try. This place is awesome! Today was my first visit for my daughter and myself. The hygienist was very thorough, gentle, and answered all questions I had without hesitation. The dentist was very honest and polite. The staff is very friendly. I love the use of technology (ipads, texts, pictures)! I highly recommend this dental facility.

First I Had root canal there 2 years ago that still hurts and they said it was the tooth next to it that was bothering me, stupid me believed the doctor and had it pulled....NOPE wrong tooth still in pain. Went in to have a crown recemented which they said was not salvagable talked me into paying thousands of dollars for a dental implant said its 100 percent lifelong option (I should have ran out the door) spent 500 on a temporary tooth that doesn't fit and I brought it in to have it adjusted and it's the same still too tight!! Implant done 12/09/17. Called the same day after procedure in extreme pain and instead of notifying the doctor the receptionist gave me medical advice and proceeded to tell me the pain I was having is normal. I had an implant 15 years ago so I kind of knew what to expect as far as pain and I knew this wasn't normal. Went back to have it checked and Dr. Shah (btw he was the same dentist that did my failed root canal I had no idea he would be the one doing the implant because my intial consultation was with a different dentist).....he says looks fine, perfect! Still in pain, went back again and told me the tooth next to it was causing the pain and that I need a root canal, I said why didn't you tell me that last week when I came in with pain....(he didn't look thats why)!! Went in again after 2 weeks of limited sleep to have root canal done but prior I said please make sure thats where pain is coming from before you proceed, it was determined the tooth was not causing my pain like I said from the beginning.....and was told it may be my sinuses!!!!! Almost a month now and went to get 2nd opionion who now says implant should be taken out due to infection.....wish I never had it done, pain was not managed properly and my concerns were dismissed. Worst experience ever. They act like they care but they don't; after paying all that money for a stupid elective tooth implant now I have to start over I had an implant 15 years ago and never went through this, my advice is go to a specialist. If I hadn't paid for it I would go somewhere else but now I feel stuck with this office until its done also you have to pay for it before they even start!!! Thought I was just going in to get a crown recemented and now a month later still in pain. Horrendous!! now I'm on a second coarse of antibiotics to try to save it but most likely will have it taken out next week. The manager of the office was supposidly informed just waiting to hear what my next step is.

The dentist was down to earth and understanding, providing me options regarding my future care. I'm not sure yet how I feel. I went from years of uneventful dental appointments with my former dentist - including my last appt with him in April - to needing what is probably thousands of dollars worth of dental work, in the space of six months. I can't afford any of it, even with insurance, so none of it will be performed, anyway. But I'm having trouble believing so much went wrong in so little time. The folks I met here are very nice. I was kept waiting for a very long time for a referral form at the end of my appointment, though. (I should have left, since I cannot afford to see a specialist, anyway.)

I was greeted by friendly faces- Kaleena and Magda and then I didn’t have to wait long at all before Katherinetook me back. She was my hygienist and was amazing at coaching me through the process. She was friendly, patient, and her approach to the work I had to have done was so comforting! I loved her! The doctor was also super approachable and amicable! Whereas most doctors can be somewhat standoffish, Dr. G was kind and super pleasant! Lastly, I am a cash paying client and for the amount of work that I have to get done, the total I was given was beyond reasonable and they gave me options to pay in full. I highly recommend this team and this practice! ☺️

I had went for a consultation for an implant. Originally went for tooth # 12, Dr Shah advice to do tooth #13 and that’ll cover both 13 and 12. I was amazed that he would be able to do that. Soo, I agreed to his many years of dentistry experience. When implant was placed and healed. Dr Shah stated it was slightly crooked and close to tooth # 14 and now Dr Shah cannot finish what he promised. I have been with missing teeth with an implant that I can’t get a tooth in. And American dental refuses to fix their mistakes. So my advice and recommendations about this facility is to RUN go somewhere else.

I had 2 cavities that made my gum so sore that I couldn't sleep on my left side. I tired a dentist closer to home but they didn't take care credit. This was a good thing because American Dental Associates was able to get me an appointment in 2 hours. They fixed my cavities that day and the whole staff was very nice. The only thing was that I had to wait an extra 30 mins. as Doctor Shah had a root cancel scheduled. This was very reasonable and helpful. I was at a different dentist that made fun of me for gagging when the put the x ray tube in my mouth. Here they position my head differently to keep me from gagging. I don't have insurance and American Dental Associates had different options to help.

I had a horrible experience at the dentist recently which lead me to walk out of the office and find a new dentist. I am very please to say I found this staff. Everyone from the front desk to the dentists are all very friendly and helped me feel comfortable, and confident in coming back to have a procedure done. I was also very happy they helped me financially by sharing information about Care Credit with me which will help me with my bills. I think that shows they care about people because not everyone can afford the work they may need. I am please so far.

July 2019 made a year that I've been going to American Dental Associates and it has been a pleasant experience everytime! During my 1st appointment Dr. Monica Patel talked with my candidly and we came up with a treatment plan that I was pleased with. Today I started the Invisalign portion of my treatment plan and I am so glad that Dr. Patel is a part of my healthcare team...she has made this process so easy! This office is a God send I needed so much dental work and was very self conscious about it. Yesterday, 3/5/16 was my first visit to American Dental Associates. I have a very intense fear of Dentists and I have been working up the courage for a while to find one to go to so that I could start getting dentures. I have been told that I would need to have my top teeth removed and get a full plate by two separate dentists... and would need a few removed to get a partial for my bottoms. Well, after a brief check up and many X-Rays later, I was pleasantly surprised that cosmetic dentistry had advanced to now have better flexible partials... I was also surprised to be informed that none of my top teeth need to be removed, and that they are all strong and good... just a bit of polishing and whitening... and I have only one small cavity on the bottom and only one tooth that will be pulled. Yay... two sets of partials... one extraction and one filling and a beautiful smile is mine to be had...

The front desk staff and dental hygienists are wonderful. Very friendly and kind. I had a great experience up until the end. I was not impressed by the dentist. She came in to look at my x-rays, spent a few seconds in the room, barely looked at me, and told me in passing I had cavities in some wisdom teeth. But that was it. Did not show me my x-rays or discuss the treatment plan. When I got to the front desk to check out, the patient care coordinator started talking to me about scheduling an appointment for extractions and a root canal, which was all a surprise to me. At that point I asked for the dentist to please give me more information about what was going on in my mouth. I had to wait about 20 minutes and then she did come and talk to me. If you are going to extract someone's teeth or perform a root canal, the professional thing would be to show the patient their x-rays, then tell them to their face that you recommend those things. Don't leave it for the front desk staff to drop that bomb on the patient. The dentist I take my kids to shows me their x-rays every single time, talks to me about what he sees, and discusses what treatment he recommends. It takes about 2 to 3 extra minutes. I work in healthcare, I get it, its busy and time is limited. But patients are human and if you feel the best option is to extract teeth or perform a root canal- no small things for the patient- then please have the courtesy to discuss this with them face to face. Its standard patient-centered care.

After a long night of excruciating pain I did my research and came across this dental office. When I called the staff on the phone was very kind and scheduled me to come in for a consultation . After the consultation, it was recommended that I take the antibiotics which they prescribed before starting the extraction. Went home and days later I've returned for my procedure. Extremely nervous, The Front desk and the dental assistant assured me that it wouldn't be bad and that everything would be ok. For me to become a little more relaxed the dental assistant asked if I'd hold want to listen to some music. I said yes and she returned with some headphone a iPad which had Pandora downloaded. I played the music and before I know it the Doctor said "Its Out". The procedure took about 20 minutes and I didn't feel a bit of pain and hardly and pressure. I whole heartedly recommend this office to anyone.

Fantastic dental office. I'm a college student from Boston going to school in Philly. I was scheduled to have a root canal back home in a few months' time over my spring break. However, my tooth started absolutely killing me out of nowhere the other day, and I knew I couldn't wait to have it done. American Dental Associates were honestly a lifesaver; they took me in for an emergency root canal on a Saturday morning, when I didn't expect that anybody in the city would be able to get me in. They took my insurance, which was a big worry of mine, and so the procedure ended up being incredibly reasonable (even cheaper than it would have been for me to have done back in Boston). The staff were all incredibly kind and accommodating, and Dr. Shah was very knowledgable. He even went over my X-rays with me prior to the procedure, detailing for me exactly what was causing my pain and how he planned to alleviate it. Overall, this office gave me a fantastic experience, and I can't offer their services enough, especially in the case of emergency care.

I’m a new patient to this office. I was greeted by the patient coordinator Magda who is very nice. There’s coffee and Water service in the waiting room which is a nice touch when waiting to be called back. I didn’t wait long for my cleaning. I had my cleaning done by Irena who is a great hygienist , i had my check up done by Dr Monica Patel who is very nice and did my exam. She explained to me I had few small cavities which she was able to treat that same day. Ipheka her assistant and Dr Patel finished my treatment for the cavities I was completely comfortable during my treatment . Great team , awesome atmosphere. I've always dreaded going to the dentist and throughout the years, my disdain has only grown. I let it slip to my mom that I hadn't gone for a check up in about two years. She recommeded I see her dentist and she's never steered me wrong before. So I booked an appointment and within a few days, I was sitting in the doctor's chair. The staff was super friendly and reassuring. I laughed my way through a basic cleaning and left with a bag of dental goodies and a couple more dates set to return for follow-up procedures. With service this great, it may be time for me to rethink my childhood apprehension.

MOST TERRIBLE DENTIST EVER. I wouldn’t recommend Dr Bhavin Shah.I went for a consult and the treatment plan was root canal, post and core and build up.I did agree to do the treatment and 1week later the crown came off.I went to see him and he sent me to see his coworker who recemented the crown and again the crown came off. But this time the piece of my tooth came off with the crown and I walked into the office and Dr Bhavin Shah refused to see me. The front desk asked to me to schedule an appointment which I did and each time my Appointment was rescheduled for 2 or 3 weeks later. I got tired of it and I went to another dentist who is now redoing everything again and found that the post was never placed by Dr Bhavin. I paid for the whole treatment!!!!!! And now I have to pay all over again to get it completed!!! Almost lost my tooth!!!!
