I had an excellent experience with Dr Balloch and his office. My situation was a bit unique, as I needed to have an implant crown replaced for one of my front teeth and a veneer made for the other. I had always been very self conscious about my teeth, as I had broken one of my front teeth at a very young age. Luckily, Dr Balloch and his staff made the entire process exceptionally smooth, stress free and pleasant, and the final product was much better than I could have hoped for. I would highly recommend Dr Balloch to anyone looking for a dentist, particularly if they need cosmetic work done. I am very thankful that I chose his office.

If I could, I would give 6 stars for Dr. Balloch and his staff. I have been a patient for over 10 years and cannot imagine going anywhere else. In 2008, I had an accident that left three of my front four teeth chipped in half. This happened over Labor Day Weekend yet Dr. Balloch responded to the dental emergency call and cemented the teeth back on before school the following day. Recently, Dr. Balloch placed three crowns and one veneer in place of the broken teeth and I could not be happier. The porcelain teeth are highly personalized for my mouth and my smile now looks fantastic. The meticulous and passionate work by Dr. Balloch has left me with a confident, natural-looking smile that I am extremely happy with. I highly recommend Dr. Balloch for any general, reconstructive, or cosmetic dentistry.

I love going to my dentist, Dr. Steven Balloch! From the moment you walk into the waiting room, the décor and atmosphere feel like you're in someone's living room, not the cold and sterile environment of most dental offices. The staff at the front desk are extremely professional, warm and inviting. I have extremely sensitive teeth and gums and I have been to many dentists to deal with issues regarding my dental care. From the moment I met Dr. Balloch I felt at ease and I knew that I was in very good hands! He and his dental staff are extremely professional and put you at ease the moment they begin to work. After receiving botched veneer work from a previous dentist, two days later I found myself googling "veneer specialists in CT" and came across Dr. Balloch's name. I first spoke with Shelby over the phone, who is an absolute sweetheart, and she assured me that they could get me right in for a second opinion. From that point forward, I have been blown away by the unparalleled level of talent and professionalism that Dr. Balloch, Dr. Lomke and each member of their team exhibits. During the consultation, they explained to me in great detail the proper technique that was necessary to go about correcting the work that was already done, and why they needed to do so. My primary dentist throughout this experience was Dr. Lomke, who is relatively new to the practice but not at all lacking in the quality and talent that Dr. Balloch represents. Dr. Lomke meticulously crafted a smile for me that I can finally say I am confident in and over the top happy with. The difference in the before and after a photos that they took is unbelievable. I highly recommend Dr Balloch and his staff for any dental work. I had extensive restorative and cosmetic work done recently and everything was done perfect. Results were great! From the start, the many trip process was explained in detail, all aspects were communicated clearly. The office was always punctual. One thing I don't have is time to waste, and they didn't waste any of mine. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Dr Balloch and his assistant Lisa were very caring and concerned about my comfort. They never let me to be in any pain. If I had to do it again I would pick Dr Balloch.

As I began my reconstruction process (a full mouth restoration) Dr. Balloch told me when I was finished I would be so proud of my smile. After a lot of research, I decided to go to Dr. Balloch for cosmetic dentistry because of the stellar work displayed on his website, and the great reviews his practice has received. The staff at Dr. Balloch's office is very personable and skilled. I immediately felt very comfortable with Dr. Balloch. He has a warm, calm demeanor and really listens to what your dental goals are and provides you with options to achieve them. I didn't at any point feel like he was trying to push me to do work I didn't feel comfortable with. The cost was reasonable and I couldn't be happier with the job he did on my veneers! The size, color and texture blend so well with the rest of my teeth, they look so natural. I feel so comfortable with my smile now!

Two years ago roughly I wrote a review on Dr Balloch, since then I have written no more than a two or three reviews on other establishments, so to find myself back here, not writing reviews often unless deserved, please use my review as the gospel of dentistry. Needless to say another 5/6 star review was needed. Even having an issue over the weekend, Dr Balloch went out of his way to meet me on a day off an help someone in need. I once again walked out just after a short time, on a Saturday morning non the less, with no techs present, he was able to perform the procedure solo, and looking just as good with a temporary as the original. As always thank you for being a stand up person committed to your practice. 2 years ago, I wrote: No money better spent then being able to improve your smile in my opinion. Finding any dentist is easy, just look in the yellow pages. Finding the right cosmetic dentist and the best at that is the hard part. Dr Balloch fits that mold to the tee, exceeded my expectations tenfold and was every penny worth the investment. His exceptional expertise and attention to detail changed my smile forever and further increased my confidence. Thank you!

Dr. Steven Balloch is simply the best. When I moved to Glastonbury from Lexington, KY, I was very concerned about finding a new dentist. I've had lots of work done over my lifetime, and I know how important it is. My new periodontist, Dr. Ernest P. Spira, recommended Dr. Balloch so I scheduled an appointment with him. When I walked into the office, I was impressed by the attractive decor, fresh flowers, complimentary coffee and pastries, and plaques representing Dr. Balloch's many awards lining the walls. Not only was Dr. Balloch, himself, welcoming, friendly, comforting and knowledgeable about the latest in dentistry, but so was every person in his office--not one sour face or impatient manner in the house. He proceeded with the most comprehensive, high-tech exam I'd ever had, and I knew I had hit the jackpot. Ten years later I am still singing his praises. Dr.Balloch's administrative staff, his associate Dr. Darcy Kasner, and all their co-workers treat every patient as a VIP, greeting you by your first name, offering the TV remote, a blanket or warm moist towel, even a hot paraffin hand treatment if you like. What I am most thankful for is Dr. Balloch's painless (yes, painless) shots. He simply will not hurt a patient. He builds in extra time for each appointment so he can sit patiently and inject the novacain a little at a time without any jabbing or poking. Mercifully, you don't feel a thing. He also offers sleep dentistry which I've had twice for very long procedures and highly recommend. I recently completed a major restoration involving 6 upper front crowns and a bridge. Dr. Balloch would not accept anything less than perfection, and I now have a beautiful smile for the first time in my life. Yes, the cost is high for such top-quality dental care, but bargain dentistry can be even more costly in the long run, possibly resulting in life-long pain or other disasters. Thank you, Dr. Balloch, for making one of my dreams come true by being the expert, the artist, and the caring person that you are. When I count my blessings, you are at the top of the list.

Where do I begin? I inherited Dentinogensis imperfeta. If memory serves me correctly, I think there is only 1 documented case. Throughout my life’s history, I started having implants back in the early 90’s when implants were relatively new. I have the same surgeon, Dr. Rosenlicht for implants/sinus lifts who worked closely with Dr. Balloch during my restoration. I currently have 14 implants-2 sinus lifts-and a lot of time in dental chairs. When I consulted with Dr. Balloch, I was informed my mouth was collapsing in 2015. After several consultations with Dr. Balloch, we came up with detailed plan. This resulted in temps for the front, upper right, upper left and lower left, right and front. Then, permanents on all. My mouth is small, I have bony cartilage which I believe is the correct description, which is under the tongue. I KNOW my case CHALLENGES were not an easy task to take on. In addition too, I was informed that I grind my teeth and this would be an added concern with some materials. So, not to bore you with all that went on for approx. 3 yrs of reconstructed work, I have finally been on my own, work completed, for a about a year now. Just had my cleaning. Healthy. Great news. Relieved. As I reflect on this experience, what I can tell you is Dr. Balloch and his staff is extraordinary. Dr. Balloch’s demeanor is remarkably calm, compassionate, sensitive patience and he is passionate about providing care to those in need. This reflects in his staff. The front desk Aimee is always smiling and is extremely helpful. Lisa, who aided in many of the surgeries is amazing. They all are! Warm and welcoming, thorough, caring and sensitive. Dr. Balloch’s office has high tech/modern equipment . This in my opinion saves times, accuracy and allows the patient to be involved. If you are in the need of minor/major restoration, cleanings etc., I would, with enthusiasm recommend Dr. Balloch and his staff to everyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Balloch since 1997. I was in need of a Cosmetic Dentist to fix my teeth (which were very small and spaced) and create a smile for me that would last a lifetime. It is very rare to find such a perfectionist as Dr. Balloch. I’m sure many people can relate to the statement “I’ve had a bad experience with a dentist.” Unfortunately in my case I had quite a few bad experiences to the point where I definitely didn’t trust anyone because I was misguided by professionals, I thought where guiding me in the right direction. I had bonding done on my front for teeth and seven years later I needed to have it redone. Long story short the original dentist who did my bonding retired and I went to someone else. The bonding looked great but it kept cracking after about the fifth time getting it repaired I went to a different dentist. I was so disappointed, the Dentist did an awful job. One tooth was two toned and just the overall bonding was horrible and my teeth looked awful. I was so self-conscious of smiling or talking to people because I didn’t want them to see my teeth. I started researching cosmetic dentistry in CT, based off of online reviews that’s how I found Dr. Steve Balloch’s office. I set up a consolation to discuss redoing my bonding. Before the appointment I started experiencing excruciating pain in my tooth. I called the office to see if I could get seen. Dr. Balloch was on vacation but they had me come right in and see Dr. Joshua Lomke. My first impression was extremely positive, the staff was super friendly and even though I wasn’t even a patient yet they treated my situation with urgency. Dr. Lomke did an x-ray to see what was going on and talked to me about what I needed to do next. He also discussed my situation of wanting my bonding redone. Based off of what I was looking for regarding my smile and the state my teeth were in he recommended that I get caps. He was very upfront and honest with me that he wanted to first address a few issues that were currently going on with my back teeth to get them stable before moving on to the front teeth. The entire process Dr.Lomke was very clear in his communication about each visit and the entire process. I never thought I could put trust in a dentist again after being misled but Dr. Lomke had/has my full trust. I followed all of his recommendations (how many teeth to cap, getting gum surgery to even out my gum lines). Dr. Lomke always made sure to schedule plenty of time for my visits so neither of us felt rushed. He is a true perfectionist, no matter what procedures I went through with him he always would make sure it was perfect. He even make comments like “let’s redo that it’s not perfect”. It’s probably a quality that drives his family and girlfriend crazy, but a quality I admired and a quality you want in your dentist. To say I am happy with my results is an understatement. I am seriously blown away how natural and beautiful my teeth are. Every concern I communicated to Dr. Lomke i.e. the whiteness of my teeth I didn’t want super white or what they call “Hollywood”, he clearly listened. The detail in each tooth and the naturalness, is AMAZING. I have never in my life felt so confident in smiling or talking with someone in a close proximity. I had 12 front teeth capped and gum surgery to correct my uneven gum lines. Dr. Lomke, Dr. Balloch, their entire staff and the lab is truly AMAZING! They are extremely friendly, honest and talented. It is definitely an investment but one I am so beyond happy I made.

I have been a patient of Dr Balloch for almost 10 years now. I cannot imagine that there is a higher level of doctor in terms of his detail, compassion and bedside manner. I came to Dr Balloch’s office after having a bad experience with another dental office and Dr Balloch listen to my concerns, assessed my current situation, suggested a course of action (with options) and I never looked back. Working with a wedding date deadline, Dr Balloch adjusted his schedule to complete my dental work in time for the wedding. For that alone – I will forever be in his debt.
