6 reviews 1.0 star rating 2/22/2016 I went to Dr. Gish in the Danbury office for years, the staff there is wonderful. I recently moved to Fairfield hoping to have the same experience and sadly it has been a complete nightmare for my family. The front staff in incompetent and unhelpful when trying to schedule procedures. If you can't change your work schedule to accommodate them then forget about it. They told my husband that he can call every Saturday to see if they had an hour and a half appointment available that same day for his procedure instead of booking him for a Saturday appointment ahead of time. I know this sounds crazy, because I can't even believe it was happening. I called the office and emailed the Office Manager on January 20th and again on February 16th and have yet to hear from them. Customer service is not the strong suit, stay away!!

I've been going there for nearly 8 years and am pleased. Staff is very competent and kind - Dr. Malick is very competent, patient and spends time explaining what needs to be done. Nina is my hygienist and does a thorough job. I also enjoy her sense of humor! Unfortunately Dr. Malick is only in there once a week now so you may have to wait a bit to see her. Other dentists in this practice appear to be very competent yet I prefer to stick with my current dentist and hygienist. I am never kept waiting more than 5 minutes for any visit. This practice is owned by a corporation - this part I do not like as I know they are very bottom line oriented. However, it is not like a chain dental practice where you get a different dentist every visit.

My family has come here for over 13 years. They have great staff. My daughter happens to have special needs and she has been coming here since about 2 years old. She does excellent and they are really good with her. I always recommend this practice to anyone who asks. We even moved 2 towns away and we still go back to Fairfield.

I was in for a cleaning appointment with a long time dentist who claimed I needed a root canal in August 2011. I made an appointment at Gish & Associates in fairfield, CT because my insurance covered it. I received Dr. Malik as the woman to fix my root canal. After two months the crown (which was suppose to be completely sealed as just another tooth) fell out. I had to wait two weeks before I saw Dr. Malik again. She took the crown that fell out and placed it back in my tooth where the gums were inflamed. I had x-rays showing that the crown placed in my Dr.Malik damaged the two teeth next to the crown and that the crown itself was falling out for a THIRD time. The x-ray showed that the two teeth next to the x-ray were damaged due to the poorly placed crown and that I'd have serious problems if I didn't fix it. I obviously did not want to return for a third time because my teeth have been damaged due to going to Jack Gish and Associate's dentist office. Previous x-rays showed that my teeth had no problems or drillings before I had visited Dr. Malik. I tried to fix the problem by seeing a trust worthy dentist. Where I was told that Dr. Malik threatened the dentist office I was going to see. Alice Gish did not respond to phone calls or address the problem. I went into the Jack Gish and Associates in fairfield, CT to talk to Alice Gish where I was told by the receptionist as well as the office manager Sonia she was not there. I called there office in Danbury who claimed she was at the fairfield office that I visited. Alice Gish was at the office in fairfield, CT where I tried to address and understand the issue so I could proceed with fixing my teeth because Jack Gish office threatened other people and Alice did not ever come out of her office that was one floor above me. Dr.Malik had caused damage to THREE OF MY TEETH and takes no responsibility even though x-rays are evident. Sonia who is the office manager of Gish and Associates in fairfield did not return any of my phone calls or address any of the problems. No body at any of these offices were going to help fix the problem that had occurred to my teeth and they have damaged my teeth at 21 years old and refuse to discuss the situation. After I had this problem I read online many others who have been in similar positions as I and I would strongly recommend not to EVER, EVER, EVER take a dentist visit to Gish and Associates. I advise if you have had similar situations to mine to file in small claims.

This has to be one of the premier dental offices in Connecticut and the staff is top flight. I recently had my teeth cleaned by one of their hygienists, Marissa, who is funny, witty, and smart, she did a phenomenal job. Not only did she make me feel at ease and comforted, she gave me, hands down, the best cleaning of my life. My teeth looked better, felt better, and that in turn gave me a confidence boost as I proudly smiled from ear to ear. I will always come back here for my dental needs. If not for the calming office environment, then for five star service that i received by Marissa.

I never give reviews for service but I felt that I had to in this case. About a month ago I had a cleaning at a different location and was informed of a cavity in a tooth. The dentist immediately suggested extraction. I said no. Then they tried to fill the cavity, but then said the tooth was in bad shape and required extraction, before making the appointment with the oral surgeon I sought out a second opinion. Dr. Gish office accomadated my request and took the time to save my tooth. They could have agreed about the extraction and I would have complied, but by going the extra mile they earned a customer for life!!!!

I was a client of this office until I met Dr. Malik. She has no people skills, was disrespectful in her manner in speaking w/me about my dental care. She was also wrong in her diagnosis of what care I needed. I am so glad I did not stay with that office and allow that inept dentist to work on my mouth and more glad after reading the reviews. Keep you mouth away from Dr. Malik.

I am going to start off by saying that the receptionist in the Fairfield Office is a very rude, incompetent, unhelpful and a unprofessional person. She needs to go to a class and be trained on people skills. My husband had an issue with a tooth on Tuesday went to the OSA office(Oral Surgeon) and they couldn't work on the tooth due to the fact that after calling the office of Gish in Fairfield 8 times no one called them back. They told the receptionist at Gish's office that my husband was in the office with a tooth that needed to be pulled. Still no one called them back with the referral. My husband woke up this morning with his rightside of his face 3 times its size and his lips were numb. He called OSA and they called Gish and were told they would get to it when they could. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. They said they needed to get the referral from the Dentist who last saw him BUT he is on vacation. After hearing that I went personally to the office. When I went to the office asked to speak to a supervisor or office manager, I was told they were not in. I asked who was in charge and the receptionist told me she was. I then asked to speak to a dentist. She said they were all busy to come back. My husband is in great pain, he physically has an infection, I needed this taken care of asap. The receptionist advised she would get to it when she could. At this point, being totally frustrated I got loud. A dentist came out and I explained the situation and she proceeds to ask me which tooth it was. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? She wanted a number of a tooth .. I have no idea. Just told her it was on his right side. I told her I was not leaving unless this referral was completed and sent to OSA. After some time I did get it. While I was talking to the dentist, this receptionist looked over at me and gave me a dirty look ... I told her don't you dare look at me. The dentist was right there when it happened. Answer this question So if someone is having an emergency and the Dr. that previously worked on him, is on vacation, nothing can be done????? 2 weeks ago I traveled to your Danbury office. The receptionist in Fairfield was suppose to forward my documents there. When I went in they advised me that I haven't been to the office of Gish since 2011. I advised them I have never been there. After about 1/2 of waiting, they found out that the receptionist in Fairfield sent them my file with someone else's records. The dentist in Danbury had to redo my moldings because he said they never recorded this was even done. So I had to have this done TWICE. With our insurance I had moldings done and there was no charge. My husband who has the same insurance had moldings done and they charged him over $500. We called Aetna and questioned this and were told that they used the wrong coding when submitting my husband info. We told the Fairfield Office several times and they still have not corrected their coding error. This needs to be fixed and I want the $250 that my husband paid back as there should have been no charge. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTIST!
