Here you will be able to see the opinions of people like you who use the services and products of Premier Dental of Connecticut in Danbury (Dentist) in Connecticut.
To this day the business has a score of 4.4 out of 5 and that rating is based on 86 reviews.
You must have seen that it reaches an feddbacks average is very positive, and it is based on a very large number of scores, so we can say that the rating is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to leave their review when they are satisfied with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to put evaluations when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Dentist belongs to the category of Dentist.
Always prompt and polite. Friendly service .
Great dental office. It has a great local almost family atmosphere. The hygienists are wonderful and you have a good selection of dentists. Everything is spotless.
I am a baby in the dentist chair even for just a cleaning. The staff there takes good care of me and treats me with kid glove.
Dr. Stubbs is the best. She's a great dentist--and she's entertaining!! ;)
This office practices malpractice with dentistry. Dr. Malik put a crown on my daughter's teeth in August 2011. After 2 months the crown fell out. When Dr. Malik fixed the crown the 2nd time, she filed the 2 teeth next to the crowned tooth instead of filing the crown. The result is Dr. Malik damaged 2 good teeth! The office does not respond. Alice Gish was at work and would not address the problem. Sonia the office manager does not return phone calls or address the problem. The office gives you the feeling this has happened multiple times and they are used to complaints. DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE! (If this review is any higher than a 0 it is giving faulty review scores everytime)
Dr Gish has retired. The new staff is wonderful. I am so thrilled to have found Dr. Roberts and her assistant Alyssa. They are amazing. So very kind, gentle and expert at what they do.
This is very difficult for me to write as I was a patient of Dr. Gish all my life, the past 30 years I have gone to see him I’ve had nothing but good things to say. Unfortunately, since another doctor took over the practice I can’t say the same. My procedure was haphazardly done and needed to be corrected by another dentist that I now see. It was then that I was aware the dentist who performed my procedure had done it incorrectly and caused multiple trips to my newer dentist to rectify. I received a bill for almost $1000 almost 2 years after this service was “completed”!! The office failed to give me any detail into why I received this bill. They didn’t know. The billing department has been a hard to deal with. Very rude, very condescending. I am willing to amend this review should the office rectify this ongoing problem.
My hygienist Chris was outstandingly she made me feel at home.
Very detailing and I like that .
The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Dr. Stubbs is awesome. She makes your experience at the dentist office the best it can be. I highly recommend this office.
I had an appointment last week for a six-month cleaning and Janhavi, one of the Dental Hygienists, was thorough, knowledgeable, and informative. She gave me practical tips and tricks such to suit me, personally and explained each step of the way (e.g., what the proxabrush is, how the brush gets between tight spaces, what kinds of pathology it can prevent). Thank you!
The service is very professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. I have been a patient for a long time and will continue to be one. I highly recommend them!
It's ubelievably amazing how this functioning! This office is about as unprofessional as it can get. I'm sitting here in the waiting room listening to the receptionists rip each person apart as they walk in or out. Further more there was a computer problem and they were unable to take appointments; however one said said if it's that important they'll call back. Never waste your time with a trashy front end, imagine what their dentistry's like???
I’ve been going to Dr. Gish and associates for 3 years now and everyone in the office is very friendly. Doctors are very nice and make me feel comfortable. Lissette always goes above and beyond to answer any billing questions.
Very professional. I had part of my tooth break, I was able to get an appointment the next day. I was in and out in 20 mins.
The worst dental office I have ever worked with. My 5 year old was sent from the Fairfield office to the Danbury because she needed cavities filled and Danbury is the only location with nitrogen gas. A day before the appointment I was informed none of the doctors could see my daughter and felt it was better she go to another office without a proper explanation. That tells me the Dentist at Gish & Associates are A) incompetent to treat children B) has an office staff that are completely rude and don't know how to communicate effectively Bottom line don'T TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!
I've been going here for years and have always had a pleasant experience. Staff is friendly and Dentists and Hygienists are very professional.
I always feel 100% comfortable arriving at Dr. Jack L. Gish & Associates in Danbury. Whether it's for a routine cleaning or teeth whitening know I am in great hands with everyone who works in that office. The staff is nothing but friendly and always willing to help and ease care in any possible way. The customer service from all at the front desk is astounding who make you feel like you are in your own home and I wouldn't dream of going elsewhere.
I used to think that this was a great practice. The staff was friendly amd polite. The dentist and hygienist were very good at their job and very competent. However, management has been terrible. I've tried to talk to them over an issue with a consultation and they have not returned my call. When I became a patient here I referred friends and family members, but since I realized how unfair they are when it comes to money I decided to look for a different dentist. I will also make sure the people I've referred there are aware of the issues I've had in the past few months.
A huge thank you to Dr. Bhatti! I was having major tooth pain and she had me feeling better in no time. She is a very attentive, caring individual and I trust her completely. Jody is so friendly and caring too- she makes sure you’re comfortable the whole time! Thank you, both this is rare to find!
Have been going here for years and have always had a positive experience. Both my hygienist Christine and dentist Dr Stubbs are thorough, caring, and provide excellent care !!!
I've been a patient of Dr. Gish and Associates since 1991 and have all kinds of dental work done, from root canals, crowns to regular cleanings. I've received nothing but first-rate treatment, professional and dedicated service from the a variety of dentists and hygienists. My hygieniest, Stephanie Donnelly has been cleaning and keeping a watchful eye on my teeth for at least 15 years and she does a great job not only with my regular cleanings but monitoring my dental needs.
I have always had positive experiences at Dr. Gish’s office. They run on time, and are very thorough.
My wife and I have going to Dr. Gish and Associates for about 8 years. The dentists, hygienists and administrators are always friendly and patient.
True professionals from all sides of the business. The office staff is on the ball and Dr. Roberts is a real perfectionist! She takes her time and always does an amazing job. I would highly recommend this practice.
The hygienist I had was excellent. Never had such a great cleaning ever
I had a difficult time with a tooth that had a root canal. The Dentists worked with me to get the problem corrected. They took extra time at every turn to make things right. The office staff is friendly and efficient with a great understanding of the insurance process. The Doctors are experienced, professional and interested in the patient, one of them may have a second career as a recording artist. The hygienists do a great job.
Great office, friendly staff
Having grown up in the area, I've been going to Dr. Gish since I was a little kid. The hygienists and doctors are really friendly and knowledgeable, and they always do a great job on my teeth. The office staff are super pleasant and will make sure you're in and out in a timely manner... If you're a local, definitely consider paying Dr. Gish a visit!
Sunday evening and Dr. Salvato came into the office to cover a tooth that broke hours earlier. I was scared, but he eased my fear with his kind and confident demeanor. Can’t thank this group enough for being available!!! Nice to know there are still doctors around that don’t say “sorry, see you Monday.”
I had to pay $135 copay as office mentioned that insurance did not cover it. I told to office that you should have mentioned me it earlier about the additional copay. Office apologized to me as she stated that hygiene should have mentioned it. Anyway clearing is good but there is a hook for patient. Be aware it.
I had a great experience from beginning to end. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Janhavi, my hygienist, was very professional and knowledgeable. She gave me great advice and techniques to improve my oral care at home. I would recommend this office for all your dental needs.
I have been going to Dr.Gish’s office since I was a kid! I love it there from the friendly and helpful staff to the knowledgeable doctors. I always see Tahira, she makes my visits worth it. I am a very talkative person and she has no problem having a conversation with me through out the cleanings.
I've been getting my dentistry done here for 6 years, its so convenient, we can bring all 3 kids and all 4 of get work done at the same time, what a time saver ! I had a cavity filled this week and Dr. Bhatti and Mindy were wonderful, they are a great team, put me to ease and make the procedure very easy. My regular hygienist is Janhavi, she is very good and always makes that dreaded trip to the Dentist no problem. Karolina my original hygienist moved to the Premier office in West Hartford and she was the best hygienist I've every had in my entire life.
Always on time. Everyone in the office is pleasant. Dr. Salvato was amazing during my root canal.
We have been going here for years and always loved Dr. Gish. Since changing over to “Premier Dental” I have had a terrible expierence. Two extra unnecessary visits and trying to charge me multiple times for “exams”and trying convince me to get unnecessary work done. We will not be returning.
Front Desk staff seems unhappy and it shows from their customer service approach, the old ones are not working there anymore, thank goodness. However, Dr. Roberts is the best and I would go to her if she has her own dental office.
I always have a great experience when I go for my check ups at this office! The staff is personable and friendly.
Always a great experience at Dr. Gish & Assoc. Hygienists are great... very professional. They are great with the kids too!
Would you like to know why people don't go to the dentist on a regular basis..THE COST..I was quoted four different prices in a span of 5 minutes at the front desk..thete should be clear prices established and discussed prior and during the visit .
I’ve Came to this wonderful place for many years! They do an excelente work
Dr Roberts is an awesome dentist that makes the experience easier and she cares.....
I have been going to Dr. Gish's office for over 25 years. Always receive professional, courteous & friendly service. I recently had my teeth cleaned by Jeta. She did a very thorough professional job! Took the time to explain the detailed assessment she made of my gum line. Glad to hear they were in good shape. Lori the receptionist always has a friendly greeting and assists me with my bill and makes sure I have an appointment in the future. I could not ask for a better pleasant experience taking care of my teeth!
I have been a patient of this group a very long time, and they have provided the highest level of dental care. My recent visit for routine dental hygene with Jonvee was wonderful. She exemplifies the caring approach and exceptional professionalism of the whole team, and her kind and gentle approach is always comforting.
Had a wonderful experience at my last dental appointment. Michele the dental hygienist could not have been more pleasant. Everyone there is lovely to work with and makes the experience less anxiety producing .
Went to this place as a kid. Didn’t have a choice. They destroyed my tooth. All for greed. They gave me a root canal I didn’t need and, of course: it was botched. They used a TEMPORARY filling and pawned it off as permanent. And it was put in wrong! My new dentist kept shaking his head and saying, “Jesus Christ!” when he saw. The tooth now needs to be pulled due to chronic painful infections. Their “handiwork” is well known among other dentists in the area. They also skimp out on novocaine, then mock you and act like they’re doing you a favor when they inject the proper amount. I was surprised when other dentists DIDN’T sneer at me for needing more (which is now rare, instead of EVERY TIME). Oh, and these reviews are suspicious. They were rated 1.5-2 stars a couple years ago.
I didn't have a dentist and found Dr. Bhatti. She gave me a new smile and I am very pleased. Once she formulated a plan, she went right to work, was very focused, and very gentle. Still more work to do and I will be back!
I have been a client of Dr. Gish and Associates for about 4-5 years and I go for general cleanings twice a year. I have met with Dr. Roberts who is just wonderful- she was very patient and showed concerned and wanted to make sure I was comfortable when I had to have a tooth filled. All the hygenists that I have had, have been super professional and polite. The receptionists this last time were super nice, during my visit last year they had different receptionists who were not customer friendly but they were not rude. I guess, my personal experience with this office has been a very good one. No complains so far.
The front desk receptionist was VERY accommodating. They were able to book appointments around my schedule and were very flexible. Thank you!
I am appalled at how Dr. Gish office treats their patients. When my husband came home telling me they embarrassed him into paying $185.00 He was told that was the co-pay which did not sound right to me, so I did research and found out they billed me for all of her appointments, never submitted any of my daughters visit to my Dental carrier. I called them to say not to submit the check my husband gave at the office. I was hung up on, I tried calling again right away and conveniently even though it was only 4:45 their phone calls went to the service, no longer did an office staff member pick up. I wanted to know why they have not billed my dental carrier - all they did was receive the money from me so they never submitted to my insurance carrier. I pay premiums to guarantee I have 100% coverage, when I inquired why I owe the office money they stated that some products and procedures are not always 100% covered. Bad business practices are common at this Dental practice from what I have heard from other people.
Entire staff is very pleasant and friendly!!! The office manager is extremely helpful!!!
I am a long term patient and LOVE both my fabulous hygienist Stephanie Donnelly and Dr Dorothy Roberts. Could not be any happier with the care I’ve received!!
I was disappointed due to the fact when I made the appointment I specifically said, I only need done whatever my insurance covers, which was cleaning, x-rays, and doctors assessment. Well, I had a full mouth debridement without any prior consultation explaining the process was needed and what was the cost. At the checkout counter is when I find out on the extra cost of this debridement and they didn't even know if it was covered by the insurance, they had to call them to be told. No, it wasn't covered. I finally, to end the issue I said, fine I'll pay for it, however, I only had $100 and promised I would call with a payment. I called the next day, I said I'm paying with a care-credit card, and I'm then told, I'd have to come in to pay with that card. I rebutted by telling her, I don't understand, you have the application for this card on your counter, what's the problem, I use the card over the phone all the times with my vets. It seems this office is very disorganized, it seemed with me, as a first time patient, all went wrong. I still have to come in for the final process if my cleaning and I think I may go back. Too many things went wrong, and the appointments are ridiculously too far apart.
I learned of Dr Gish and assistance through a friend who is a patient there. Upon arrival I was greeted and asked to fill out a intake form . I waited about 20 minutes and was taken back for my exam I was very pleased with the consultation and will be moving forward with their recommendation for treatment.
The Dentist and dental assistant are caring and take their time. I have made Gish and Associates my family dental providers and we’ve all had the same great experience. Most recent I bought my 4 year old in to have a cleaning and then cavities were filled with Dr. Roberts. He was so calm and cooperative it bought me to tears. I appreciate her skills, technique and professionalism. Glad to have found this office as a new resident to CT.
Dr. Stubbs and Dr. Roberts are awesome and Stephanie the hygienist is great!
Dawn and Dr. Roberts are the best! appointment on time, office staff very friendly and helpful. Glad to be a patient almost 15 years!!!
Excellent facility and nice people!
My usual dentist was on vacation. I had a severe pain in a tooth. I went to this office. Took x-rays, and they stated they could not find anything. Went home with pain killers and antibiotics. I returned 10 days or so later. This time lo and behold were able to see that there was a crack down the tooth. She attempted to get the tooth out, and after a few tries she could not. So I am take downstairs of their building to an oral surgeon. I was in the waiting room from 1:15pm until 4:30pm and finally called into a room at this time. The dentist from Dr. Gish's office originally told me it would be a very short wait and/or they would take me in once the surgeon arrived. Well that didn't happen. The surgeon comes in and numbs me up, leaves and then returns 25 minutes later. He attempts to get the tooth out and I looked at him, like he was on crack, you numb me up, then come back almost 30 minutes later and expect that I am not going to feel anything? But the following is what really concerned me. On the 18th, I had an appointment for a simple cleaning. A simple cleaning turned into a fleecing. The hygienist first question was did I take my medication this morning? I was confused. They then took 16 x-rays of my mouth. Why 16? I've had my teeth cleaned many other times and NEVER had 16 x-rays done. The hygienist asked, (and in my opinion) if I had previously had these x-rays taken at another place, i feel to see if they would get paid for these x-rays. Then she said oh I see you have United Healthcare, I said NO, I have CIGNA. Hmmm? I wondered what was that about? Then the dentist came in and attempted to "sell" me on an implant. When I advised her that an implant would cost me $4500, she was incredulous but still insisted or implied that I should still get it done. I advised her that unless she was going to pay the majority of the implant, "it ain't happening". So I get out to the front counter. The clerk that I was dealing with, seemed to have an attitude problem. Now I know why. So she is calculating the cost of all the "deep cleaning" I need to get done. Total $446 out of pocket. She also calculated how much a bridge would cost, $1235. She hands me a sheet, my exact same name but with a middle name and Sr. on the end. I asked her, what is this Debois as my middle name? I have no middle name. In addition, the DOB was wrong. She asked me did I have United Healthcare, I said once again no, and the hygienist just came out and told you that I told her I had CIGNA. THE FRONT DESK GAVE THE HYGIENIST THE WRONG FILE. So everything the hygienist was looking at was the WRONG file. She even asked are the last 4 of your SSN, so and so, I said NO. So lo and behold she redid the figures and $446 turned into $886 and $1235 turned into $1436. But before this she took my FSA card and charged me based on the figures under United Healthcare. So she gives me the receipt (now mind you this was after she discovered the mistaken file) and the receipt reflected that I PAID on the other person's account. I discovered this other mistake when I got home an hour later. So she then had to void the transaction. To verify I asked her to FAX to me the documentation to make sure they didn't screw this up also. Needless to say I will NEVER return to this place and plan on retuning to my previous dentist. I will be contacting HIPPA because I feel this was a clear violation of HIPPA laws.
Money hungry they don't work with you with payments they want all or nothing I need two root canal but can't afford it because they want all the money up front recently changed my insurance but won't take affect till next year and they can't even help out with payment plans going to another office that actually cares about peoples financial status
This place is amazing. They gave me really good tips on how to take care of my teeth and I love the prizes I get when I'm done :-D!
